Great customer service and nice pool.

property is a fine location for eating, the american legion, transportation and nature. did not like the lack of ironing board and only one iron.

The hotel has been renovated, the rooms are clean and cozy with impact windows that block the outside noise. The location is centrally located close to I-95 and the Turnpike. There is a shopping mall near it and a 711. we stayed in a room with a small refrigeration and microwave. the outside area felt safe, although some of the guests are lower income and were outside smoking cigarettes, nothing wrong with that but may give the wrong impression if people are just passing by and judging the place. The hotel allowed pets, which was nice so you would see the owners walking the dogs outside, and sometimes we could hear dogs barking. again, this was fine, we also have dogs and understand that dogs bark, The front desk people were friendly and helpful. One door to the parking lot wasn't working with the room card but we could use the other door. All in all, it was a positive stay for the price. it is close by a school, and we stayed there so it could be close by to take our kid to school.

No elevator

We stayed for 2 nights to avoid a hurricane on the West coast of FL. I think I've only been in 2 Motel 6's and one of them we left as soon as we saw the room. This was actually fairly updated and pretty clean. Nice that they allow pets but there was a fairly strong cat urine smell in our room. No real amenities here but for the price and pet policy it's hard to beat.

The room was clean but no mini fridge so our groceries went bad lol. They did have laundry service for $4 per load and I thought that was pretty affordable. The staff was very friendly. The parking was free and convenient.

This is a older hotel so its a little dated. But the beds were comfortable, the staff were friendly. Had one small issue with one of the hand towels being covered in someones hair when we arrived but the staff at the front desk was nice and gave us more towels. They do have guest laundry facility on site that costs $3 to wash and $3 to dry which we was happy about. The pool was clean and heated. Would stay here again

Great for late night flight place to stay. Rooms were recently renovated, bed was comfy. Pool was nice! No breakfast, friendly front staff! Just a place to sleep after a late flight arrival.

Staff were excellent! One gentleman helped me with a heavy bag up the stairs. Marlow, got me a cup of coffee early the next morning. I could walk 5-10 mins to get something to eat. If they had an elevator, it would be perfect!

Beware this place is disgusting. Absolutely nothing like the pictures. I don’t they do anything but change sheets when they clean the rooms. Tables full of spilled food, nasty amount of dirt/dust and whatever else all over the floor and around the bed frames. The lights in the bathroom and entry way flickered the whole time non stop. The room was so humid. The lights outside of the building are so bright it lights up the whole room. Smell is awful. Hallways nasty. No elevator but 2 floors. Just save yourself time and take your money somewhere else

Our room and the motel were generally clean; everything looked in good condition as expected for a motel that has been recently renovated. However, as mentioned by other reviewers there was a bad smell in our room and throughout the motel especially in the stairwells. The air conditioning unit in the room was on the loud side. There was not a lot nearby in terms of food and shopping options. The motel also houses some strange individuals. Overall, it was an okay place for us to stay the night before boarding our cruise, but we probably would not consider another stay here.

Didn't even get room keys, floors sticky, bathroom lights flickered, beds dirty, and shower plug didnt drain

The smell everywhere was awful. Every area had a different bad smell, stairwell, hallways like mold or overpowering disinfectant, urine, even the room was awful. Along with the stained sheets we left.

Room was dirty, floor very sticky and dirty, towels dirty with marks.

There were roaches in our room, the room smelled of cigarettes, and the halls were noisy all night.

I booked this solely to be near my next day cruise. It being late and having my late eighties mother with me on a last night n Florida, a last -minute search for a better hotel was not practicable. All three rooms i was shown were in exactly the same deplorable state , sticky floors , soiled toilets, no circulating air as the windows were sealed shut. The hallway carpet stained in different areas. Right from the entracne a smell of cleaning solvents soon turning to petshop smell and so it went ... From one susrprise to the next. Could hear neighbours above and to the side swearing, cursing away. People of questionnable appearance came in and out at all times. I had to borrow a bucket and disinfectant to go trhough everythihng, handles , telephone remote control , bleach for floors. The water black and murky each time i rinsed out the mop Clearly an unmitigated money-printing exercise for the owners, and nothing else. They should not be in operation. The only nice thing were the front desk staff. I took video footage although it seems i cannot upload on here Avoid,,,

To stay here was terrible the cleanliness there's trash everywhere there's trash in the hallways there's kids running up and down the hallways all hours of the night you don't get much sleep in the bathrooms in the bedrooms underneath the beds are terribly not cleaned at all

Cockroach in the bed. Carpets in corridors are in terrible condition. Room is updated and kind of clean but mattress and pillows are in a bad condition.

Front desk accommodated our need for a first floor room, room was small, outdated, barebones. Bed terribly uncomfortable, pillows were flat and only 3 for 2 people. I’m 75 years old fell out of bathtub due to bathtub surface being very slippery with no anti slip surface.

The a/c doesn't run propertly

This place was like a Frat house! Noisy at night into the wee hours even with earplugs. People were at the pool after 2am. The doors of the rooms are almost 1” off of the floor so you literally hear everything! My bathroom didn’t have a door and there was an annoying flashing light in the bathroom. I opened my curtain one morning to see the view of the pool ( which is very nice) only to see a lady passed out high with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth. Days later the same lady was in the lobby passed out/sleeping while standing up. The staff seems to know her because they left her there until she woke up and referred to one of them by name. They seem to have rules but they do not enforce them. The rooms looked like dorm rooms but they’re kept fairly clean. I would not recommend especially for families or if you’re looking for peace and quiet. The staff were friendly and the place has potential but they have to first enforce their rules and fix the doors.

Observation only the area seemed kind of sketchy. The rooms are in a corridor which I haven’t stayed in a hotel like that in awhile and never will again, I didn’t sleep a wink because of doors slamming, kid running down hall, people talking, sounded like they were in the room, the walls are so thin. The bed was not good and they give you one pillow the size of a throw pillow. On a good note the shower had amazing water pressure

Television did not work. Only one chair in the room. Just OK with minimal furnishings.

Uncomfortable bed, Flat pillows, But the worst thing is the paper thin walls: a Lot of Noise from Everywhere! Definitely not worth $200 US dollars a night

Very deceiving !!! No elevator for second floor ! Strange odors from stair case from lobby to 2nd floor and odor of WEED !! Near our room. Noise from A/c unit on and off ! Ceiling light blinking like a strob light and was told by clerk at reception no one to fix it since they left at 4pm prior our arrival ! Electric outlet and usb port on side of the bed not working !!! NOT WORTH THE PRICE WE PAID !!!

Fast check-in and super accommodating/friendly staff. The price is great and the rooms are super clean and updated. Free parking and quiet area, definitely recommend.

Do not use. Overbooked and took money leaving 20 plus people without accommodation and having to sleep on floor in lobby.

I booked this place based on really decent reviews, but I was completely shocked by how awful the entire experience was. When I showed up I was informed that the key system was down and I would not have a key to my room. The guy at the front desk (who was slurring) told me that he would have to let me in the room and if I left for any reason he would have to let me back in. He then proceeds to lead me to the stairs where he watched me lug my 3 bags up two flights by myself. The entire place smelled like it flooded and never dried out. There were sketchy looking folk in the lobby and halls. At the very least I should have been informed about the key issue when I called a few hours prior to check in. As a female traveling alone, I have never felt as unsafe as I did in this disgusting place.

Hotel called day of and cancelled our reservation because they overbooked. We hv no place to stay. All hotels in the area are booked. Would not recommend! Tom Bodet did not leave the light on for us!! Zero stars

We would not recommend. Property was dirty and smelly. Gave some story about keys not working and had to have front desk person escort you to the room and use a passkey. We left same night and found somewhere else to stay. Only good thing I can say is staff was friendly.

Pros: Proximity to the airport. Front desk staff was fairly helpful. Somewhat cheaper than other options in the area. Cons: Check in was late by about an hour and a half. Despite check-in being delayed, the room still wasn't cleaned properly as areas of the floor were still sticky/dirty. Not much within walking distance. Unless you're on a budget don't think I would recommend, but it did the bare minimum for a short stay/early flight out.

Check in was extremely difficult. Desk agent acted like checking us in was unpleasant for him, key sleeve was reused from another room just had the room number wrote over the old one. Building had disturbing odor. Building was visibly in disrepair, base boards missing and falling off, signage partially painted over. Desk clerk at checkout was apathetic and barely communicated.

Very close to the highway and shopping centre in walking distance

This is our second time staying here. Great place for the price. The pool was nice, the staff is nice and it’s in a great location. Walkable to a little mall area and amazing restaurant next door.

It was clean and near the airport. But the area was terrible… should’ve done my research. Nothing around but sketchy gas stations and staff gave my friend and I ( 2 women) a look that made us feel super uncomfortable

This is convenient for people coming to Ft Lauderdale for one night. Restaurant right next door. Close to airport and freeway. Perfect for a Miami cruise.

I’d stay there again. The room had a weird not pleasant smell to it. The BBQ place right next door wasn’t bad. The doors around make a loud clicking noise to properly shut them all the way. As I said I’d stay their again if close the the airport is what you seek.

Easy location to airport and cruise port at a good value compared to most other hotels/motels! Sheets had some rusty spots on them so maybe have maids make sure sheets are spotless! Breakfast at restaurant next door was fabulous!

Hotel was very clean and the rooms were comfortable. We stayed one night at the beginning of the week and at the end. I was told when leaving the 1st night that I could use AARP card for an additional discount, which would also give us a later check-out time. The only problem I had with the room was that you couldn’t charge your phone next to the bed, since the USB plugs next to the bed didn’t work. The only plug was on the desk across the room. The bathroom was very large and could use a table next to the sink, since the sink is very small for shaving or make-up items. You will also need to bring a hair dryer and shampoo/conditioner. The second day we arrived very early and the lady at the desk, told us the the room was not ready, but she would have the cleaning lady do our room 1st. She also stored our luggage for use so we could go to breakfast until room was cleaned, since there is a restaurant next to the hotel, which is very convenient. When we returned there was a gentleman at the desk and everything that the lady had told us was now different. Can’t use the discount since I booked through Hotels.com., and would have to pay for early check in, (the room was not ready and now he had no idea when it would be.) He was not very personable and his disagreeable attitude was the reason I gave this hotel a lesser review.

There is a great barbecue place to eat and it's super close. Easy 2 minute walk. Enjoy breakfast and dinner and good prices

The staff was very pleasant here and will store your luggage if you arrive before your checkin time. As a motel, i wasn't expecting alot of amenities and you you won't find any here. Accommodations can be very expensive in this area, so, if you're looking for a simple, low cost place to sleep before a local event or a cruise, this is a good spot to book. Motel was sold out! Rooms are very simple. Bed was comfortable and a/c worked well (a must in Florida). No shampoo/cond/hair dryer/safe. Hallway was somewhat musty, but generally clean. There is plenty of parking if needed, but no shuttle to or from the airport. There was only one restaurant within walking distance and not much else. A $15-25 USD Uber ride will get you to a number of eating or shopping locations.
