I won’t stay here again. The elevator broke while I was there had to use the stairs the entire stay.

WORST place I’ve EVER stayed! Power went out when we tried to use microwave 3 times so they put us in another room mid-stay. Both rooms had multiple roaches - on walls & in sink! Pool was “out of order” & unusable. No remotes would work the TVs so it was unwatchable. Paper thin drapes. Outside doors unlockable. Drug addicts & shady characters throughout. Elevator was stuck. No towels, no room cleaning. The smell of the entire facility was so awful, even with keeping all of our bags tightly zipped to keep the roaches out, even clothes we didn’t wear had to be washed after getting home because they retained the strong smell of smoke & unwashed dogs!

Excellent front desk clerk Juan! Elevator is out of order and must be repaired. Room air conditioning system is extremely noisy. Fortunately I was able to leave it off or I might not have been able to sleep. Otherwise the room was clean and comfortable. However the 3rd floor public hallway reeked of sh**t! Really! Was there a plumbing system breakdown and flood recently? There are recovery services that specialize in deodorizing and restoration of properties in this situation. Motel 6 needs to hire one! (Fortunately the room itself didn't smell.)

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Great location. Outside there was dog poop everywhere- on the driveway, in the grass, sidewalk, by the trees, etc!

The place posted no smoking all over, yet it stunk like weed/pot. The rugs in the hall were stained and stunk. Roaches in the bathrooms (big ones). My key card had to be reactivated 5 times. When asked If i can change to a cleaner room, I was told that all rooms had roaches. Staff just didnt seem to care. The elevator was out of service twice in 1 day, and then again the following day. No pride.

The hotel doesn't even have a luggage cart !! Bad idea stay here for a shopping trip ! Ohh, and the smell of the carpets is unpleasant.

Nasty dirty stinky hallway carpets, cockroachs in the bedroom, clogged shower drain, dirty walls in room and bathroom, noise air conditioner, front counter people didnt give attention for my complaint about a dog barking at the room next to mine, elevator was out of service, swimming pool was not open.

Elevator was broke had no rooms ready at check in time. Room didn’t have microwave or any clocks. None of the beds had blankets.

We ended up checking out of this hotel and going to another mainly because we were put on the 3rd floor checked in and everything BEFORE they told us that the elevator was out and we had to climb 3 flights of stairs when I am disabled and also have a herniated disc in my lower spine!!

BED BUGS and over powering smell of humidity in room, floors buckling, nats in room. DISGUSTING!

I was bit by bedbugs just staying one night left at 3 o’clock in the morning it was so disgusting. It should be close down.

Do not go! The place smells like mold mixed with cannabis and roaches. Disgusting! Pay the extra and go somewhere else. You’ve been warned!

There were roaches, blood spray up the bathroom walls and ceiling, mold all around the tub, containers of food under the bed (among other things), no blankets, the room wasn’t even cleaned, the hallways were full of trash, it smelled. this is the worst hotel I’ve stayed in across the whole world. Do not stay here for any reason. I just left and got another hotel enough though this was paid for. I want my money back but I doubt that will happen.

The first room I checked into I went to check out the room and the bathroom had roaches actively running around. The wall outside the bathroom looked as though it has a huge amount of blood that was painted over. I went to the front office and asked for another room. This room was not much better. The bathroom had active black mold growing on the ceiling. Then there was the smoke detector that beeped all night long. I never found the other smoke detector that beeped all night long. The one on the wall was unplugged and the battery was removed. I immediately checked out the next morning.

Hotel smelled of mold that they tried to cover with cologne.. no comforters.. no garbage cans... no housekeeping.. Nasty pool...ROACHES YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT THEY GOT BUGS

I will start by saying that NOT all motel 6 are DIRTY and NOT updated. This motel 6 was roach infested, uncomfortable, dirty and smelled like mold, Marijuana and cigarettes. I'm an over the road truck driver so I stay in all different motels but this one NEEDS to be shut down and completely remodeled.

Very dirty hotel, with a strong smell of dog urine, marijuana, and tobacco. The bathroom was filthy. Although it is close to Universal Studios, it is not habitable. Infested with fleas. I am a Hotels.com customer and have always had great experiences around the world, but this time it was a total disappointment. This hotel does not deserve to be part of the Hotels.com portfolio!

Hallways were dirty with trash. Room was not clean, floor was sticky and slimy. Roaches were crawling around and some dead ones on floor as soon as you walked into the room. the hotel staff called while we were at the theme parks stating they need to cancel our reservation-we made a week before hand- due to not having any more rooms available but later said that they actually did have a room available.

There were roaches . Stained sheets , black mold all over ceiling and wall .

They were very rude at check in. She did ask for id of everyone over 18. I handed her my id and drilled me for the rest. Even after I said I was the only one. And she verified the reservation for 1. She still wanted more ID’s. The tub drained slow. Musty smell. Run down. Hallway dirty. Little water pressure. Rundown room.

The rooms don’t have what Xpedia said, they don’t have microwave or refrigerator

The first room I was checked into was not going to work. The bed had hair and satins on the top of the bedding. The mini fridge was leaking and smelled like something died in there. The second room had no fridge, and the door was hard to shut and the lock would not work. The third room had no fridge, but they brought one from another room, but the door did not latch at all. I could shut the door and just push or pull it open. The fourth and final room - they had to bring the fridge and microwave from the third room up. I had to let the door slam before the latch would catch and lock the door. I was unable to use the deadbolt lock as it did not line up with the holes. Both ice makers were down so I had to buy ice to keep my food cold in my coolers while I was waiting for the fridge to cool off enough. All of this was going on around 11pm after a full day of traveling with 2 kids. The stair cases were nasty. People were smoking in there and leaving trash and cigarette butts on the stairs. It smelled so bad I threw up. The side stairs, by the pool was the worst. The employees were great, friendly, and very apologetic during everything.

As soon as you walk in all you smell is 🌱, It’s more like apartments than a hotel with all the guest who gather in the lobby. No microwave or fridge in our room like it was state. Just pay the extra money and stay somewhere else.

AC did not work correctly, and did not remove humidity in air. Beds were old and creaky. Towels did not dry.

Tv didn’t work and couldn’t change room and no refund never again

Staff was friendly and parking was easy. However the room smelled like mildew due to the humidity that caused the sheets to be damp.

Although the room was a little small for the bed type, and the bedside table was broken, it was a good enough room for my trip. It had a mini fridge and microwave, which my current two bed room at the same hotel doesn't have.

This room would have been very nice; however, they could not turn the Air Conditioner off. When I came in the room was 63 degrees (too cold). I could not get the AC to turn off and neither could their technician. She just left baffled. They never tried to help me again. From then on it was my problem. Thank goodness I had a couple of sweatshirts in the car.

ROSE at front desk was great. Helpful, nice -easy check in. My remote for the TV did not work, Rose made sure everything went smoothly. Mike, who works at the hotel helped out as well. These two are amazing. Sheets were clean, bathroom was clean, towels were clean, outside my window. I could see my car. Plenty of parking. Air conditioner worked. Room was nice and cool. There was no issues, the property was pretty quiet. I saw a lot of guest bring their animals so I guess they are animal friendly, there was no issues with any animals., The hotel is quiet. The location is perfect cause you’re close to everything on international Drive you could either walk or drive.

The list is quite long.. what's unable to use the bathroom because I was too early to check in even though I had prepaid through this app.. i had a fight for a parking pass so that I could go to the concert that I was in town for because it was before three o'clock. Got a call at 430 while.I was at the concert evidently telling me that my hotel reservation was being canceled which I didn't find out until I showed up at midnight. Show up after struggling to make it back to the front desk lady, saying that I had no longer had a room because they were overbooked. Even though I had talked to the front desk person before I left and they said I was fine as long as I got there before three a m. They finally gave me a room on the third floor of course , the elevator was broken and the entire place smelled like mildew or pee or something they were trying to cover up. Room was okay. Surprisingly, but did wake up with a roach in the shower?All the carpets in the hallway had bad stains.People talking outside my room until three or four in the morning. Also a little strange , when I showed up , it looked like there was an entire homeless camp in the back when I went to go turn around.

The African American women at the front desk were gems, they were extremely friendly and helpful. I was so shocked to get such customer service and clean accommodations at a low price!!! Will definitely come back

Terrible experience at check in. From the moment we arrived, the reception clerk had a nasty attitude. Once you walk thru the front door you feel a weed smell and weird people walking around. Reception Clerk gave us an occupied room, we went back to the front desk and he started screaming at us because we didn't provide all guests ID's (he never asked for it) he said we needed to read if we knew how to, pointing with his finger one of the papers placed at the counter. This place is so unsafe that they ask for everyones ID's like on a third world country. I asked to cancel and get a refund because i felt unsafe on this scary place. He started screaming at us asking us to leave the property in two minutes or he was gonna call the police. There are cameras all over and that can be verified if owner wants to. I have traveled all around the world, we are decent traveled people, stayed at many hotels including this hotel chain and never had an experience like this. Stay away.

Dawn at reception was an angel, professional, smart, hardworking and kind.

When I got to the hotel the lady told me that my reservation was cancelled. No one call me to let me know that they have cancelled my reservation

The staff here is absolutely amazing. They are very friendly and very attentive when needing something.

Wasnt allowed to check in cause my girlfriend didnt have an i.d. it was my room under my name and did list there was were 2 adults nowhere have i ever in my life have been "REQUIRED" to show i.d. for everyone in my party NEVER in my life so if my 10year old son was with me we couldnt check in cause he dont have an i.d. either nor was there anything listed upon booking about everybody needs to present i.d. honestly i think it was the manager just being racist cause the original guy was gonna do it and she came out of left field looking at me sideways saying my gf needed to show i.d.

Upon arrival there was one person completing check ins. The other which I believe to be the Manager was just standing around. They were very rude and unprofessional and waited till we were done with the check in process to have us sign a waiver stating we could not ask for a refund if they lost power. The room was disgusting dust everywhere, piles of dust behind the bed, dirty sheets, roaches climbing on and around the microwave. We brought our own cleaning supplies and had to wipe down walls, clean the bathroom and wipe the floors with Clorox wipes. The floor was filthy! We booked a room with a fridge and microwave and they stated they could not guarantee a fridge would be in the room. Black mold in the vents and around the toilet. The hallway wreaked of marijuana and cigarettes and we booked a non smoking room. The front lobby was a hangout and the Manager was friendly with all the people just hanging around the front lobby area. I went down to request another pillow and blanket. As I was speaking to the front desk clerk who was very rude and began asking us if we had a pet with us and was refusing to give us another blanket, the Manager is asking from the back “what’s the problem” The manager came and snatched the blanket from her and brought us to the 2nd floor, gave me a balled up blanket. This is the worst service I have ever received in hospitality. I work hand in hand with hospitality on a regular basis as a state worker and this was unacceptable service.

Nice room and very friendly and helpful staff

First the good: The location is super convenient to Universal Studios. You can walk there from the hotel. Staff was courteous. no complaints there. The Bad: The rooms were SUPER dirty. nail clippings and hair from prior visitors on the floor, stains on the sheets. The floor was spongy like the AC unit in the room was leaking and rotting the floor. The hand held shower head was taped to an aluminum rod about 4 ft above the floor. This forced us to squat down to shampoo. Hookers, pimps and dealers hanging out in the parking lot. The ugly: The smell of weed almost covered up the smell of urine from animals and/or people. I will never stay at this location again. Visit at your own risk.

Great location for universal studios. Basic hotel. Clean. Noisy air conditioning woke me up every time it went off the first night so suggest turning that off if you can cope with the heat. People live here I think but wasn’t an issue just something to know. Nice friendly reception staff. Was everything you expect from a 2 star hotel. Great price and great fast food eating and shops a short walk away we made use of Denny’s, chipotle, walgreens and ihop we walked yo universal from the hotel but there are buses and Ubers to use also.

You could smell mold throughout the whole hotel, at least on the first and third floor. There were dirty socks in the shower when we arrived in our room. The neighbor had his TV on blast until about 4am. The only good thing about this place is that it is right next to universal studios.

It was conveniently located near multiple stores and restaurants, all within walking distance. Very clean rooms as well

Upstairs neighbors kept us up well past 4am . Our checkout was 11am. We were not offered compensation. Drug addicts and hood rats all over the place. Barely felt comfortable enough leaving my car parked outside. There was no smoking allowed on premises yet everyone was smoking cigarettes and marajuana.

The staff was amazing and nice and understanding. They have free coffee early in the morning hours. Really good place if you walk everywhere its close to bus stops and walkable to everywhere

Very friendly and good hotel and walkable to everything

The best of this motel is the location. The rooms are not well maintained, shower was dirty I had to buy disinfect wipes and wipe everything. There walls were dirty, shower (the metals parts) were dirty, floor was dirty and the air conditioning fan was extremely dirty. The bed seems to be ok. The pillows are terrible, bring your own. The front desk clerk said there was coffee in the morning and there wasn’t. The hallway smells very bad. I stayed 2 nights and I couldn’t stay longer as I felt very uncomfortable there. The only good thing about the place was the staff. There were good and friendly. Overall, I don’t recommend the place. It’s not a place to stay many days unless you don’t care for smell or cleanliness.

It was dirty, smelly, ran out of coffee cups about 9am, staff wasn't too friendly about that, I guess they were overwhelmed due to the hurricane, bath tub needed repairs, oh well.

There was a smell in the lobby down the hallway where you can leave to throw away the trash. The carpets are vacuumed they need to cleaned by professional carpet cleaner. The front desk staff of Dawn and Amy were very he reason why they get 4 stars for service the one young lady in the morning does not have a very nice demeanor and or attitude. The housekeeping staff did the best they could with the smells and the trash that the guest they rent too.

Hallway smelled. The back door did not work with card. Coffee was available for only a short time.
