Very nice hotel, BUT, management turned off the AC system while it was still around 80 outside so the hotel was very warm. The ventilation would not work unless the heat was on so the only way to cool the room was to open the window. Unfortunately our room faced the water where music was heard until after midnight, then the noises of partying was heard until well after midnight. Very frustrating. In addition, they advertised access to a spa but to actually use the sauna is $20 per person. Overall, not a good experience.

Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, die Möbel sind altbacken, der Fernseher mini, der Geruch der Zimmer geht so. Die Matratzen sind durchgelegen. Es gibt nicht einmal Wasser gratis im Zimmer. Das Frühstück ist gut, allerdings keine 4 Sterne. In der Nebensaison bis 15.3. gibt es einige Gratis Parkplätze in der Stadt in Laufnähe, ansonsten ist die Parkplatzsituation angespannt (und teuer). Toll ist der "Pool", Gäste haben Zugang zur Therme mit hervorragendem Thermalwasser aus dem Urmeer. Leider kostet die Sauna extra, auch für Hotelgäste!!

Das Hotel liegt schön an der Promenade, das Wellnessangebot ist sehr gut durch die Anbindung mehrere Hotels, sodass durch Übergänge jeweils Hallenbäder etc. benützt werden konnten Das einzige was nicht zufriedenstellend war, ist das Abendessen Für Kinder gab es beim Buffet wenig Auswahl, keine Pommes, schön hergerichtet, aber geschmacklich nicht 4 Sterne würdig Der Preis für die Aufzahlung HP war aber auch nicht sehr hoch, also muss man das wahrscheinlich in Kauf nehmen Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, und auch schön gestaltet Gerne wieder

Buon hotel, check-in veloce, usufruito del parcheggio poco distante. Bella camera con vista, con balcone. Terme a pagamento raggiungibili dall'interno, bella la zona piscina di acqua marina. Terrazza solarium, oppure sdraio di fronte al mare. Ottima colazione. Ci torneremo

The staff could not have been nicer. The problems were out of their control. The air conditioning broke in the entire building and after the air was off it smelled like dog. Couldn’t open the windows because the city had a concert that went on till 2:am blasting loud. Also without telling us our hotel pool was shut down for two weeks. Here’s the great part they own 5 hotels and they upgraded us to an amazing room on the back of the building at 10:30 that night. We gave up the water view but it was so worth the move.

Fin indtjekning, blev under indtjekning gjort opmærksom på at der ikke var pool på hotellet som beskrevet. Man skulle bruge pool på et andet hotel, poolen var lille og meget overfyldt. Maden på hotellet var ok men ikke særlig varieret..

Hotel veramente bello, la piscina non è caldissima, però si sta bene. L'area sauna e wellness è veramente magnifica, consiglio a tutti di visitarla, c'è anche un percorso di saune molto bello e innovativo da fare. Personale davvero disponibile e camere eccellenti: grandi, pulite e accoglienti.
Hotel veramente bello, la piscina non è caldissima, però si sta bene. L'area sauna e wellness è veramente magnifica, consiglio a tutti di visitarla, c'è anche un percorso di saune molto bello e innovativo da fare. Personale davvero disponibile e camere eccellenti: grandi, pulite e accoglienti.

The rooms are quite dusty, there are deposits of dust above the curtains. In terms of overall comfort, the hotel would need renovation. Especially the section with standard rooms. Pillows are like stone. I remember the times when the hotel was far better. The staff is nice, they do their best, but the decline in quality is obvious. Especially when it comes to category 4+. So, much better 3 star, than 4+.

Non è la prima volta che soggiorniamo in questo hotel. Ottime terme, ottimo centro benessere. Colazione abbondante, stanza pulita, zone comuni molto belle(bar, hall...). Noi abbiamo soggiornato in una standard, ci siamo trovati bene anche se sarebbe utile rinnovarle. Mi piacerebbe in futuro trovare un bollitore.
Non è la prima volta che soggiorniamo in questo hotel. Ottime terme, ottimo centro benessere. Colazione abbondante, stanza pulita, zone comuni molto belle(bar, hall...). Struttura molto pulita, accessibile a tutti i servizi (farmacia, negozi, ristoranti, noleggio biciclette...) camere pulite cambio asciugamani ottimo, comodo accesso alla spa, buono ristorante all'interno. Poca chiarezza nei prezzi della SPA e alcuni elementi del mobiglio un po' antiquati.

Hotel in cui siamo ritornati dopo una decina d'anni (all'epoca era 5 stelle, oggi 4); il tempo è passato: dieci anni fa era un hotel di lusso per l'epoca, oggi è rimasto fermo senza innovazioni; il viaggio era per motivi di svago; abbiamo optato per servizio di mezza pensione; la cena era tutta a Buffett con solo 2 primi fatti al momento. Qualità dei prodotti non sempre di ottima qualità. Servizio dei camerieri a volte molto efficiente, a volte "distratti". Molto buona la frutta, mentre i dolci da lasciar perdere. Molto valide le stanze con materassi comodi e servizio camere molto efficiente. Posizione dell'hotel molto favorevole; servizio spiaggia a pagamento. In generale il soggiorno è stato discreto ma le aspettative, vuoi per i ricordi, vuoi per la classe di Hotel, avrebbero potuto essere di maggior gratificazione.

Overall we had a pleasant stay, but a few things were disturbing. We booked a sea view room more than 8 months in advance, they allocated the worst possible room with very obstructed view. No beach towels, no kettle, very dated feel... Big positive is a free use of thermal pools, which we loved.

I like the place, I been there for many times... Anyhow, the Hotel needs reconstruction so badly. From the point of view of services, I remember the times, when Hotel was 5*, right now most services as well as equipment are on 3* level. Especially breakfast are really weak, cold scramble eggs and watery orange juice is too low standard for pretty high pricing out of the season. I assume, that manny of guests will return, because they are long time visitors as I'm. So they will return some how till day they not...

Non è la prima volta che soggiorniamo in questo hotel. Ottime terme, ottimo centro benessere. Colazione abbondante, stanza pulita, zone comuni molto belle(bar, hall...). Noi abbiamo soggiornato in una standard, ci siamo trovati bene anche se sarebbe utile rinnovarle. Mi piacerebbe in futuro trovare un bollitore.

The staff could not have been nicer. The problems were out of their control. The air conditioning broke in the entire building and after the air was off it smelled like dog. Couldn’t open the windows because the city had a concert that went on till 2:am blasting loud. Also without telling us our hotel pool was shut down for two weeks. Here’s the great part they own 5 hotels and they upgraded us to an amazing room on the back of the building at 10:30 that night. We gave up the water view but it was so worth the move.

Wij hadden auto met trailer bij om dit daar te parkeren was niet easy maar het personeel reed voor om ons op een veilige parking te zetten ! Prachtig gelegen mooi uitzicht het Knokke van België !

The hotel is very well situated in an extremely pleasant town; it is a very short walk to the beaches and shops with easy access to everything in the area. The hotel staff are very friendly and efficient. The extensive breakfast buffet provides multiple choices which is typical of a European breakfast buffet. It would be even better if they provided a section which was clearly marked solely for guests with food allergies, as the risk of cross contamination when using the utensils was high. Overall a very nice hotel which I definitely recommend.

Das Hotel liegt schön an der Promenade, das Wellnessangebot ist sehr gut durch die Anbindung mehrere Hotels, sodass durch Übergänge jeweils Hallenbäder etc. benützt werden konnten Das einzige was nicht zufriedenstellend war, ist das Abendessen Für Kinder gab es beim Buffet wenig Auswahl, keine Pommes, schön hergerichtet, aber geschmacklich nicht 4 Sterne würdig Der Preis für die Aufzahlung HP war aber auch nicht sehr hoch, also muss man das wahrscheinlich in Kauf nehmen Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, und auch schön gestaltet Gerne wieder

Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, die Möbel sind altbacken, der Fernseher mini, der Geruch der Zimmer geht so. Die Matratzen sind durchgelegen. Es gibt nicht einmal Wasser gratis im Zimmer. Das Frühstück ist gut, allerdings keine 4 Sterne. In der Nebensaison bis 15.3. gibt es einige Gratis Parkplätze in der Stadt in Laufnähe, ansonsten ist die Parkplatzsituation angespannt (und teuer). Toll ist der "Pool", Gäste haben Zugang zur Therme mit hervorragendem Thermalwasser aus dem Urmeer. Leider kostet die Sauna extra, auch für Hotelgäste!!

Hotel in cui siamo ritornati dopo una decina d'anni (all'epoca era 5 stelle, oggi 4); il tempo è passato: dieci anni fa era un hotel di lusso per l'epoca, oggi è rimasto fermo senza innovazioni; il viaggio era per motivi di svago; abbiamo optato per servizio di mezza pensione; la cena era tutta a Buffett con solo 2 primi fatti al momento. Qualità dei prodotti non sempre di ottima qualità. Servizio dei camerieri a volte molto efficiente, a volte "distratti". Molto buona la frutta, mentre i dolci da lasciar perdere. Molto valide le stanze con materassi comodi e servizio camere molto efficiente. Posizione dell'hotel molto favorevole; servizio spiaggia a pagamento. In generale il soggiorno è stato discreto ma le aspettative, vuoi per i ricordi, vuoi per la classe di Hotel, avrebbero potuto essere di maggior gratificazione.

Ho sempre avuto problemi con Expedia e mai più la utilizzerò. La struttura è obsoleta e inadeguata. La colazione indecente con prodotti di scarsa qualità. Il prezzo è esagerato per l’offerta del servizio.

First time visitor to Portoroz this was an hotel I had read a lot about so knew what this maybe like. First of all if you don’t want a big resort location then Portoroz is not for you some of the smaller towns in either Croatia or Slovenia maybe more for you. I enjoyed it middle of the week in peak season it was not too busy. The rooms in the hotel are on the dated side as other comments imply but they were clean and I found them fine. Yes it’s annoying no plug socket near the bed but really not a huge deal. The beach club across the street was great way to chill out in the day and discount for hotel guests appreciated. Being able to use pool and changing room in hotel next door was an added benefit I didn’t know on booking. Breakfast was a big selection maybe more focused on quantity vs quality it was included in my room price. I am not sure if I would pay extra for this. Overall if you want to enjoy the resort hotel vibe you will enjoy this. I would come back as enjoyed my few days here.

The hotel overall was massively under maintained. Despite the lovely location, the lobby, the room and the pool areas were all like something out of the 90’ies. The breakfast restaurant was so poorly maintained, it smelled and the selection of breakfast was unacceptable for anything in 2026, not to mention a hotel at this price level. We stayed three nights and ended up skipping our included breakfast on the second and third day as it was just not eadible. Not coming back until significant refurbishment has been done.
