I had a two bed room, but there was hardly any space between the beds. The room was always sticky/wet and smelled humid. The ac unit was so temperamental that one degree difference meant freeze or sweat to death. The beds were not comfortable at all and you can feel the coils.

Unfortunetly its way too expensive for the seedy motel vibe. but I do get its Santa Barbara. The room was ok. Problem with some of these places is, it seems , theres a lot of temporary housing going on. So some go about like its not a motel for sleeping only. It did make us nervous that the key card , worked at times, and sometimes didnt. Some times we woul key in, get red light....then attempt door without keying and it would open.....doors dont seem well mechanized. I think I would just pay more for a pricier but better place.

The room appeared clean. The towels were too small to get dry with and fairly old. We were told chevk in was at 3 but our room was not ready until 5. The front desk lady just kept complaining and apologizing. When asked about check in time her response was that we could check in anytime. I had to explain that while thats may be true the hotel had a responsibility to check us in on time. She said they have 150 rooms to clean Bottom line, rooms are small, there are no amenities other than old and small towels. The hotel is good for pets. The only reason we stayed there and the rate wss cheap for the area If you choose to stay here just know ahead of time to bring toiletries and towels

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing\. When we entered the room, there was a noticeable musty smell that made the room uncomfortable from the start\. To make matters worse, the power went out and remained off for several hours\. Without air conditioning, the room became extremely hot and uncomfortable, making it impossible for us to get a good night’s sleep or enjoy our stay\. The experience was bad enough that we ultimately shortened our trip and decided to drive home around midnight rather than spend another night there\. We had planned on enjoying our stay, but the condition of the room and the extended power outage completely changed our plans\. I understand that power outages can sometimes be beyond a hotel’s control, but the overall experience was extremely disappointing\. I would expect better communication and some effort to accommodate guests when something like this occurs\.
