Motel 6-Vacaville, CA

I enjoyed my stay and continued my stay for the hospitality and the ease and convenience.... They suggest great ideas and passed no judgement and the customer service is top notch. a safe and easy place to hang by the pool or just work on work Only negative thing I will add. Not exactly the problem with the location but motel 6's themselves. You long tall walkin showers are the worst. And the choice in curtains.....at this point. Taking a shower out side makes more sense and less mess and less towels. Less energy cost

I liked the staff recommendation for food near by, walkable. Parking was good, easy. Didnt swim and wasn't informed about times or rules. No refrigerator or microwave or coffeemaker, for hot water for my tea.

Where do I begin... I can't believe I paid so much to stay here! I asked for a non-smoking room, the room wreaked of cigarettes! Half the lights in the room did NOT work. The tv was dim and dull and had only three little circles on the screen that showed full vibrancy. No trash can in the bathroom. The shower head was caked in mildew. The bed was old and very springy and extremely uncomfortable. They only provided two very flat pillows that smelled like cigarette smoke. No fridge, no microwave, no safe. It was 85° out, but the pool was closed; I would've loved to go for a swim. There was a massive hole in the bathroom wall from the doorknob. There were holes in the laminate floors. The room was dusty, table wobbled, bathroom hadn't even been swept. The ONLY GOOD THING about the room was the working air conditioning.

Property was under the construction

The front lobby is locked, and you have to check in through a small bulletproof window. What is advertised online is not what appears; we walked in the room and exited immediatelyleft, canceling the stay. The room was dirty and had a cigarette burn on the comforter, and the fire alarm was ripped out of the ceiling. I didn't even get the the bathroom; I walked thru the door and said hell no. I canceled immediately and went somewhere else. I will never stay at a motel 6 again after this.

The greeting at the desk was not warm, the outside of the building around the rooms was never swept, and not very welcoming looking the room itself was dirty. The floor was dirty. Walls were dirty and damaged. The refrigerator was something you would not want to use it was old and dented, and there was dirt in the corners of the top pulls. The bathroom was the worst. Around the toilet had not been cleaned, and there was obvious urine buildup. The door on the bathroom was only partially painted and very dirty, especially towards the bottom where the door was coming apart. The door to the entry of the room was damaged in the corner, and the floor was damaged. There was no coffee pot was gorgeous during 80° weather was locked. It was a very disappointing. The worst motel I have ever stayed at.

This place had roaches broken toilet seat no garbage cans tv was messed up it was horrible I will never come back

I stayed at this hotel recently and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The room was not clean at all — there were pubic hairs in the bathroom and even on the towels, which was absolutely unacceptable. On top of that, the room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The bed sheets were stained, and the floor was visibly dirty too. This lack of cleanliness made it really hard to feel comfortable during my stay. I expected basic hygiene standards to be met, but sadly, they were not.

Surprisingly filthy, dirty bed sheets , tub and curtain grimy. Completely disgusting, we hoped we had hazmat suit to sleep on those beds . The stench of cigarette and pot smoke is there

My mom and I stayed there for one night. I probably should have asked for a different room upon opening the door just to see if all the rooms were that bad or if we just got the bottom of the barrel. The room was reeking (and I am not exaggerating here) reeking of urine. We opened the door for about twenty minutes with the air conditioner on high to make it bearable. the area around the toilet smelled the worst so we kept the door closed. Another thing was the floor was so sticky with mysterious something that every steep we took our shoes stuck and made the sticky-tape noise. (Never took my shoe off until firmly in bed.) The little things were peeling paint, gouges in the door, mold in the bathroom and the bathroom door wouldn't close all the way from the water leek swell in it. Positive note, the beds passed the bug bed inspection and the sheets smelled clean. All this was conveyed to the guy at the counter in the morning very calmly and with hints of cleaning better. You may be asking why did we stay after all that? Well, we both had driven a long way and were tired and we both are farm girls and have slept in stalls before. Come to think of it the stalls may be preferred for the night than this hotel.

Dirty, smells like smoke in non smoking, holes in curtains, tares in toilet seat, no coffee, vents are filthy

Not clean and not well cared for

The room was disgusting. Bedsheets had hairs. I requested clean ones and they gave me ones with hairs too.

Dead flies around shower and shower floor.

Single female traveling alone. Usually trust motel 6 properties. This was BY FAR the WORST property that I have stayed at in the US in the last 30 years. I was driving all day from AZ to Portland and it was late when I checked in. Door to bathroom rotted out from water damage. Bugs everywhere. Mattress so gross I slept in clothes in my sleeping bag. I checked the mattress and it looked like a stab wound to the cover on top of having stains. I took MANY photos. If I was not so tired from driving I would have gotten a refund and slept in my car.

Good enough for a 1 night stay. Room was clean, water was hot. There were no amenities in the room other than a TV; no coffee, fridge or microwave.

The room was clean but bare bones. No coffee maker, fridge or microwave. The mattress was so uncomfortable. No shampoo or conditioner on 2 bars of soap. The room was clean expect for the trash under the bed.

The room had no microwave and our food was wasted! The tv remote didn’t work, the shower curtain was hanging on by zip ties! The phone didn’t work to call the front desk so we had to walk down to the front desk and ask for more pillows and blankets and the guy said they won’t give us more pillows and gave us 1 thin blanket and told us to turn the heat on to keep us warm!

Toilet rocked and thought it was going to leak. Shower took 10 minutes to warm up. Bed sagged in the middle. Door did not seal.

There was no cable they only had 4 channels and they told me they had HBO but Lied!

No smoke detector in the room, just the mount and wires hanging out of the ceiling where it used to be. Bathroom door would not close, shower curtain held together with zip ties. Headboard to the bed fell off the wall. People living in the rooms as well as in cars parked outside

Economical, but small, noisy, no shampoo or conditioner, and not particularly clean. Shower water didnt get very hot either.

Tv had few working channels

It was good for the price.The bad was the tv lost signal a lot and the toilet kept running in the night.

The worst hotel i have ever stayed at dirty smelling room. The bed had a low spot and asked to change room and they said they didn't have any other rooms.

Customer Service at the front desk was a joke-first they placed me in a room that obviously had cigarettes smoked in prior to my stay and I had to debate with them why I needed a different room. Than the second room I received didn’t have hot water for showers. Full on thumbs down for these people

The best part is the staff including the housekeeping, they are what makes your stay completely worth it!!

It was a bad trip. Our door was opened by an employee and was left open at 3 in the morning. Customer service was bad

Assigned me a room, I go to room and housekeeping is still cleaning it, she says give me 5-10 minutes so I went back and asked for another room since I had a short amount of time to clean up for an appt. I asked if i could get a first floor unit which he replied no. This didn’t make sense since the place was clearly not at capacity with only about 10 cars in lot and appeared to be over 50 rooms. So reluctantly took room on second floor. I unpacked and turned on sink to brush my teeth and notice floor is flooding as all the water was coming out below the sink. I went to ask for another room and again he said only second floor and very rudely told me to check the room this time before I use it because he can’t move me again. I said the room was fine it’s not my fault the plumbing is broke. The plumbing worked in new room but when I finished showering I noticed a roach running on wall my sink. I was not gonna ask for another room because if there’s roaches in this room I’m sure they’re in all rooms. I removed everything from my bag, shook out all clothes and left. I paid for a room I didn’t return to.

The property was very clean. The staff were awesome! Polite, efficient, knowledgeable, and made me feel right at home. Good experience all around.

Great location. Room needs updated it’s pretty old. Hot water takes a long time to heat up.

The motel is bare bones. If you want cleaning you have to pay for it. They don't offer coffee or tea. The restaurants nearby are closed permanently. There are homeless people behind. You get what you pay for.

The only good thing was near to the fwys other than that loose toilet unfinished patches on bathroom shower dirty

It was a little noisy at night

I arrived late after a baseball game and the room was SO bad that I couldn’t stay there. Smelly, dirty, run down, homeless people on the property, etc. I’m not a prude but this place was so bad there was no way I could stay there. And I was tired and it was midnight. I had to go find another place to stay which cost me a lot of money. If I didn’t find another place, I would have slept in my car. That’s how bad it was. Should NOT be offered on Hotels.com!!! The only positive is that the reception refunded my money.

I get that it’s a motel six , but there was no hot water , I called and asked if there was a microwave, I was told yes but here was not . Only dryer sheets in the vending machine and so many homeless around the property . Spend the extra $20 and go somewhere else .
