The outside did not look like the pictures and was really dirty. They had two ice machines and both did not work. The vending machines also did not work. The lock on our door was broken and there was holes in the curtains. The surrounding areas were really gross and there was a lot of homeless people around. The staff was really nice. I would say that was the highlight .

Room had very musty smell that never went away. The mattress had seen better days. Towels were like dish rags. Good luck finding a parking spot returning after dinner. Ice machine was out of order and the vending machines mostly out of stock. Checked out 2 days early.

The staff is the gem in this story. They are attentive and quick. The only negative is I was told coffe would be available daily and I only saw this once in a 7 day period. Not the worst, but not on point either.

Unfortunately everyone littering when garbage cans are right there. A lot of homeless ppl walking thru & one Sleeping by vending machines. Hard working cleaning lady. 1/2 the front desk nice 1/2 NOT as friendly. There wasn’t coffee every day. Shower head was not functioning properly. Seemed sketchy. Over all dirty & unsafe for a female traveling alone. My least favorite motel 6 to date.

The room smelled like smoke even though it was a non smoking room. There where cockroaches in the bathtub and the AC has a terrible smell. The blankets and sheets where rough and pillows where lumpy and flat. Many drug addicts and the room felt very unsafe.

The bath tub was patched from a break in the bitten, the shower curtain rod was hanging loose, so the curtain wouldn’t stay close so it flooded the bathroom when you took a shower the sink for washing your hands and brushing your teeth was broken. There was a piece broken out of it. The faucet was loose. I spilled something on the floor so I was wiping it up and the floor was filthy. I would not recommend this place. Yes, it was cheap but cheap doesn’t have to be dirty.

I recently stayed at this Motel 8 and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. The hallways were noisy with people fighting, making it hard to relax or get a good night’s sleep. There were also hygiene issues—I even had to deal with multiple cockroaches in my room. Overall, I would not recommend staying here if you’re looking for a safe and comfortable place to stay.

This is probably the cleanest and most updated Motel 6 I’ve stayed at. It’s in a secluded spot in Vallejo to where I didn’t feel like I was unsafe. Would totally stay here again for any quick trip in the area.

NO REASON YOU NEED TO STAY HERE. This property is not unsafe, although homeless live within blocks. Once I saw one under the stairs. The staff is nice, the room is clean, and the WiFi is just OK. The biggest reason not to stay here: smokers stand too close to the building, and the smell wafts into the room thru gaps in the door or sucked into your AC. The weather is nice enough to open the window, but not to smell the stink of weed! The second biggest reason not to stay here: property is not maintained AT ALL. Tall weeds and trash everywhere! Curb appeal, and the impression of safety is severely lacking. There are two OTHER Motel 6 properties nearby that are WAY better than this one!! Stay there instead.

The room was clean, the staff were pleasant, the wifi was good, and the price was competitive. Only negatives were noise from the highway, bright outdoor lighting that the shades don't completely block, and the chair in my room was broken (missing screws to attach seat to frame)

This place is definitely a place I’d stay at again. The convenience of being right off the freeway is great, but the traffic noise can be a downside. The hotel door into our room wasn’t very sealed, so the noise seemed to come in more. On the bright side, the staff was very accommodating. When we arrived around 1:30 p.m., after driving for four hours, she informed us that our room wasn’t ready. Despite our exhaustion, she took it upon herself to check on the room and we were able to go in immediately. I thought that was very kind of her!

The bed is not bad,shower is broken under the tub. Room very small. Small TV. Gap in the door is large. Its not the worst room just small and old out dated. Staff is here they are laid back and free coffee in the morning.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Air conditioner had touch screen, but all the markings for where to touch, to change air, fan, temp, had all worn off a long time ago. Had to have housekeeping come show me how to operate it. TV was ok, said 40 channels, but half of them Had no signal and the “guide” did not sync with what channel you watched.

We stayed in Vallejo because I attended a music festival in Napa. The door has a larger than average gap and I was a little nervous about it at night. It locked and stayed closed, so it wasn’t a huge issue. The room was dated and needs some upgrades, but overall it did the job.

Did not like cold shower, even let water run for few minutes no improvement. Light by bed did not work. Plugs by sink did not work. Moved to a different plug and it work fine. Overall a disappointing stay.

I arrived to check in 1am Christmas Eve, I hag already prepaid there was a lot on the window from the front desk employee stating the would be right back… called Rand bell for over 2 hours no one ever came up front help, had to get a room at another hotel.

Horrible stay at Motel Six, Very loud music outside and the door not closing properly. Called front desk to complain about loud music and their response we can’t do anything about it. That’s is, music and people partying went on till 2:00am. Couldn’t sleep, wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all!

Not the best part of the neighborhood. Arrived and their system was down couldn’t check in. 2 hours later checked in and they gave me a room that smelled like smoke and charged the largest deposit of any place I’ve stayed. 3 days later the deposit still not returned. Staff was nice but the experience left a lot to be desired. Light shined through the door gap all night long and we saw a cigarette butt down in the AC unit in our non-smoking room. It wasn’t the best experience and I don’t usually write reviews but think folks need to be aware of what they’re getting here.

Our stay was great. The man who was working front desk noticed that we were very tired and gave us a room where it would be quiet and gave us a great rate. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. The housekeeper was helpful and had no problem giving us extra towels and pillows. She was friendly and helpful. The rooms have been upgraded and are much nicer than before. The only negative thing is that the hardwood floor in the room did not look like they had mopped it. Otherwise this was a great place to stay. I will definitely stay here again

I requested for the room to be serviced. I was gone all day, returned late and found no one serviced the room. When i asked for clean towels the next morning, the front desk reported none were available until after 830am. I needed to leave by 8am. It was very inconvenient porr service.

I went to check in & the area was just terrible! There was homeless encampments not even a mile away around the corner. It is clear people are living at the motel & also out of their cars just parked outside. It was very run down! People/homeless coming up to me just asking for money. My 2 kids were immediately scared of these random ppl talking to us. I attempted to cancel & they told me to call hotels.com where on hotels.com says to contact property. It was a run around! And I was still charged!

I asked the tenant to ship room service until we were present and she did, there was nothing missing and there was no questions asked, also the location was very close to our destination ( six flags & Dave and busters)

I asked the tenant to ship room service until we were present and she did, there was nothing missing and there was no questions asked, also the location was very close to our destination ( six flags & Dave and busters)

Location was a little sketchy. Homeless folks and drug dealers walking around. Couldn't sleep too well because I was worried about my car and my safety.

Horrible poor location have to make sure everything is locked away and taken with you after you leave. We left after first night with drugdeals and homless. Havent heard from expedia or motel 6.

Homeless camp feet away, gutted vehicles with no tires line the street to the hotel. The closest gas station locks its doors at night because of crime in area. Unsafe to even walk to car alone. Horrible horrible!

So close to the Kaiser Hospital and easy to get back and forth with a big verity of food choices. With family being in the hospital having everything close and easy it is just so helpful in times like this

The staff is the gem in this story. They are attentive and quick. The only negative is I was told coffe would be available daily and I only saw this once in a 7 day period. Not the worst, but not on point either.

Unfortunately everyone littering when garbage cans are right there. A lot of homeless ppl walking thru & one Sleeping by vending machines. Hard working cleaning lady. 1/2 the front desk nice 1/2 NOT as friendly. There wasn’t coffee every day. Shower head was not functioning properly. Seemed sketchy. Over all dirty & unsafe for a female traveling alone. My least favorite motel 6 to date.

As surprising as the location and fellow patrons were, the room was very clean and comfortable. Forgot about the no coffee pot at these locations and the light coming through the window from the bright light outside seemed to make it daytime all night, it wasn't a terrible stay. Good water pressure and acceptable for this price of a hotel. Sometimes you need this for a quick sleep.

Staff was super nice during my 4 day stay. The room was pretty clean and had everything I needed. A few of the things inside were broken like the lights, but it didn’t bother my stay at all. The area it was located has a small shopping center in front of it, which was pretty nice for some quick eats. I would stay again.

The bed is not bad,shower is broken under the tub. Room very small. Small TV. Gap in the door is large. Its not the worst room just small and old out dated. Staff is here they are laid back and free coffee in the morning.

The staff were wonderful! So friendly, offered suggestions for coffee, and just an awesome demeanor:) the bed was comfy, and the desk was nice to study (going to a class the next morning)

I've travelled for business for 50 years and never ran into the abuse I got at this hotel, a hotel I have stayed at more than a dozen times in the past 2 years. After driving 400 miles, I was informed that their card reader was down and that they would only take cash! At 9pm, I had to hustle around and find another pet friendly room. What's worse, I had a guaranteed room on my credit card and fear that they charged me as a 'no show'.

Location convenient. Staff helpful. Facility is old and run down. Needs updated maintenance for sure. Arrival day the shower knob was broken couldn’t shower right away. Next day did not receive a call or notice of eta for knob repair and was woken up early and rushed out to fix repair. Secure door inside missing screws so not quite safe. Day 2 found a cockroach on shower curtain. Showed photo to front desk and Friday evening a couple was arguing loudly outside our door for awhile and there’s no security guard walking the premises for the facility. Homeless going through the garbage’s outside. If it weren’t for the staff I’d give this place one or two stars but the staff were nice and friendly

Plenty of parking. Not the greatest neighborhood, even for a night. Great if you're on a tight budget. If not, I'd look elsewhere. The staff there were very friendly and nice.
