The service was excellent! We got a complimentary ride from the airport. Even though our flight was 30 minutes late, the shuttle driver waited for us at the airport. Then everyone was very welcoming offering free water bottles every day and also an apple when we were leaving early and didn’t have time for breakfast. Also, the food at the Erie Grill was excellent and included some healthy options.

We had an okay experience. First the good stuff: The gym is more than adequate and is accessible 24 hours. The hotel restaurant (Erie Grill) is open until 11:00 p.m. and has a nice menu with very good food. Now the not-so-good. We were there during a cold weekend. Our heat did not work and it took several requests to have it attended to and fixed. It was a relatively simple thermostat fix but there is nobody working maintenance on the weekend. Second, the lighting in our room was very poor. There are only lamps with very limited light. You are essentially staying in a dark room, even with the window treatments open. If you are trying to work or read, this is problematic.

I wish they had bathtubs or hot tubs here but they don't. Otherwise the location is great for walk ability with tons of restaurants and shopping within 5 minute walk. They let me have hair gel which I had forgotten to pack. Nice room and comfy bed.

Excellent service, ambience and cleanliness. This hotel has a small footprint, making it easy to maneuver and cozy, yet elegant and relaxing. Running alongside the hotel is the Erie Canal with a lovely walking and bike path and plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the peaceful view. This is a place to stay when you want repose. The beds were a bit more firm than we’d love, but everything else was excellent. We stayed here for our wedding night and the amenities they offered to us to make our stay extra special were just delightful.

We had to arrive early do to weather ( lake effect snow around the Great Lakes) and was very pleasantly surprised that we were able to check into our room several hours earlier! Front desk staff were extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. We are definitely going to book again. Quant location with a spa.

They didn’t put a cot in the room. They use air mattresses which are not very comfortable and too big for the space. Didn’t tell us we need to ask for cleaning. Staff issues caused restaurant to be closed one morning. Kitchen inconsistent executing same breakfast every day. Nice gym. Nice staff. Good location.

Hotel staff members were very friendly and helpful. I had to check in early and they accommodated me. The hotel and rooms are clean and it has a number of great amenities. It's very well located: close to Rochester downtown but in a very safe and upscale neighborhood. I highly recommend it. I won't stay anywhere else in Rochester.

Had dirty sheets the whole time I was there. I asked the maid to change them and she did not and I went to the front desk to ask to get them changed and they did not do it. I asked a second time to just lay the sheets inside and I would put them on because they said there was no one there to do it. I never got clean sheets in the 4 days I was there. For $300 a night, that is rediculous.

The stay was nice although I feel the price I paid was not worth it. The room was EXTREMELY dark. Even with the curtains open, several lamps on, and floor lighting I could hardly see anything. There was also an extremely loud noise that kept coming on. Whether it was a furnace or an AC unit, it kept waking my baby up at night, and my partner and I could hardly hear each other talk over it. The floor was coming apart in a few places, and the wall paper was splitting on a wall. There were also only 2 gallon sized trash cans which one was meant for recycling and was not enough. The towels were STIFF and VERY rough. I’m not sure if we were just put in this room because we had a child or what, but definitely not worth the $400+ for one night. The carpeting throughout the hotel was also very dirty. If it was clean the place would look 10x better. The style of the room was very nice and would’ve been great if it was taken care of.

This is a beautiful hotel in the village of Pittsford, right along the Erie Canal. There are lots of walkable places to go, including the Pittsford Dairy directly across the street and the village shops just across the canal. Hotel was quiet, room was spacious with lots of room to spread out a bit. The lounge chair with the fur throw was very special for a cold December night.

The hotel is new and clean. On the good side, the rooms have everything one would need, including slippers, but they do have one great downside. The problem is that the rooms have an HVAC unit inside each room in a utility closet and these units are VERY noisy — the floor is shaking when they come on. I had to unplug the temperature controller to shut the HVAC off and be able to sleep.
The hotel is new and clean. On the good side, the rooms have everything one would need, including slippers, but they do have one great downside. The property is in a fantastic location. The room however is quite depressing. It is incredible dark. I mentioned that to them and they said they would give me an extra lamp. It would not make a difference. I enrolled in keyless entry and they did not know how the process worked on my phone

The service was excellent! We got a complimentary ride from the airport. Even though our flight was 30 minutes late, the shuttle driver waited for us at the airport. Then everyone was very welcoming offering free water bottles every day and also an apple when we were leaving early and didn’t have time for breakfast. Also, the food at the Erie Grill was excellent and included some healthy options.

We had an okay experience. First the good stuff: The gym is more than adequate and is accessible 24 hours. The hotel restaurant (Erie Grill) is open until 11:00 p.m. and has a nice menu with very good food. Now the not-so-good. We were there during a cold weekend. Our heat did not work and it took several requests to have it attended to and fixed. It was a relatively simple thermostat fix but there is nobody working maintenance on the weekend. Second, the lighting in our room was very poor. There are only lamps with very limited light. You are essentially staying in a dark room, even with the window treatments open. If you are trying to work or read, this is problematic.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this resort! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed and well cared for. The property itself is stunning — beautifully maintained grounds, spacious rooms, and breathtaking views that instantly put you in vacation mode. Running alongside the hotel is the Erie Canal with a lovely walking and bike path and plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the peaceful view. This is a place to stay when you want repose. The beds were a bit more firm than we’d love, but everything else was excellent. We stayed here for our wedding night and the amenities they offered to us to make our stay extra special were just delightful.

We had to arrive early do to weather ( lake effect snow around the Great Lakes) and was very pleasantly surprised that we were able to check into our room several hours earlier! Front desk staff were extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. We are definitely going to book again. Quant location with a spa.

Hotel staff members were very friendly and helpful. I had to check in early and they accommodated me. The hotel and rooms are clean and it has a number of great amenities. It's very well located: close to Rochester downtown but in a very safe and upscale neighborhood. I highly recommend it. I won't stay anywhere else in Rochester.

This is a beautiful hotel in the village of Pittsford, right along the Erie Canal. There are lots of walkable places to go, including the Pittsford Dairy directly across the street and the village shops just across the canal. Hotel was quiet, room was spacious with lots of room to spread out a bit. The lounge chair with the fur throw was very special for a cold December night.

Hotel staff members were very friendly and helpful. I had to check in early and they accommodated me. The hotel and rooms are clean and it has a number of great amenities. It's very well located: close to Rochester downtown but in a very safe and upscale neighborhood. I highly recommend it. I won't stay anywhere else in Rochester.

This was a great hotel. It is set at a stunningly beautiful location. The rooms were very well decorated and clean. The restaurant was very good too. But the best part of this hotel is the staff. Highly recommend the Del Monte!

They didn’t put a cot in the room. They use air mattresses which are not very comfortable and too big for the space. Didn’t tell us we need to ask for cleaning. Staff issues caused restaurant to be closed one morning. Kitchen inconsistent executing same breakfast every day. Nice gym. Nice staff. Good location.

The DelMonte was very comfortable with excellent food and excellent staff in a location that was charming and fun. The location was calm and peaceful with small shops and restaurants nearbye, many directly on the Erie Canal But it was only an easy 15-20 minute drive to downtown Rochester to the museums and attractions there.
