The property was ok. There were several things wrong though. For example, no placard in the elevator, no inspection, duct taped button and dirty floor. Our bathroom had cobwebs in it, dirty finger prints all over the wall and what looked like blood drops on the floor. Door was stripped and had spray paint on it. Hallways seemed dirty. Lint from the dryers on the outside and not cleaned up.

The staff was friendly and it was a nice facility. However my room smelled strong of urine, the toilet ran the entire time and the ac helped with the urine smell but then it smelled like mold or mildew. It may have just been the room but it differently changed my rating. It’s in a great location and right next to a Starbucks. I haven’t had the best luck with IHG hotels lately, I will be sticking to Marriott and then Hilton if nothing else available.

Overall good place to stay. Close to everything and property was in great condition. Only negatives are feet get black walking on the floors and had 2 wash cloths that had stains on them.

Our room was very clean. In fact I think it has been the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in since Covid pandemic. The bed is comfortable and it was a very pleasant overnight experience.

Pool was closed for renovations which we didn’t find out until check in. Our room was directly across from the elevator so it was very loud at times. Kids screaming for their mother! Our keys stopped working and we had to get them reprogrammed.

AC did not work. Had to complain several times to get a new room only to find out that AC doesn’t work there either. They don’t have their ACs under control. First room was freezing cold. Second room too hot. No maintenance person available on site. Not recommended for staying

Great stay all and all. We did however have a room that had no working fan in the bathroom, and the bath tub faucet had a bad leak. Other than that, the room was clean, and staff was friendly.

Great experience at this location. I stayed 3 nights during 4th of July week. The infrastructure is updated — not old at all — very quiet, clean, and the staff was friendly, free parking and breakfast. Bathrooms were clean, and the mattress was good. About 15–20 minutes from Downtown Nashville, with plenty of shops nearby. I will definitely stay here again.

Check-in was easy, staff was very friendly, the staff was most helpful when we had to cancel 2 night stay because of a friend’s death. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in the Mount Juliet area.

While eating breakfast hotel staff entered our room and started cleaning before we even checked out. All of our stuff even our valuables were out. If you stay here don’t leave valuables out because the staff has no issues entering your room without your permission. When confronting the managers they say sorry that it’s happened before. Just beware and lock valuables in your vehicle.

Staff member Shawna was exceptional. I needed help with getting my sister inside. I also needed help getting her oxygen to work. Shawna was kind enough to help me with both.!! We were very frazzled when we arrived so we were very blessed to find Shawna !! Thank you holiday inn, express for having such a wonderful staff member! What an asset she is !! Cynthia B

This was the only hotel I have visited that wanted to charge me for early check-in for arriving from out-of-town an hour or so early (even though the room was ready). I didn’t check-in early as a result, and we came back hours later. Later we didn’t have enough towels in the room (3 for a room with 4 guests), and we had to go to the lobby to get the appropriate amount (no offer to bring them to us). On a positive note, the woman preparing breakfast was super friendly. We wouldn’t choose this hotel again based on the early check-in policy (most likely a corporate policy).

Upon arrival we were met by a sleeping attendant and someone that was not supposed to be at the property. It took over 30 mins to get us checked in and they didn’t have the room we booked available, we had to wait until the next day to move rooms, it was very inconvenient. The next day the attendant was rude and bothered by our request to move. It was not our fault we were not accommodated upon arrival for something we booked originally. When speaking to the manager the following day, she was very apologetic, but the damage was done and we were not offered anything for our inconvenience. If you have an option, do not stay on the first floor, so much traffic because breakfast is free. It was loud the first night but the third floor was great. The maid staff wakes you up daily around 7:30 asking to clean your room. That was also annoying, but pick you battles. Good luck if you book here!

Property is nice and clean. Convenient to eating options and shopping. Also easy access to the interstate. Thats the good. After driving a few hours, we stood at the counter for almost 25 minutes waiting to see a staff member to be able.to check in. If i had not booked through a erd party amd paid up front and a refund difficult to get, we would have left and went somewhere else. The staff member was respectful upon return but gave many excuses instead of just apologizing. Very disappointed in the wait and check in.

The staff is what makes this location so great. I don't remember everyone's name. I do remeber Rodney at the front desk, greets you every time with a big smile and a can do attitude. Then there was Renee and Ward who controlled the breakfast area. Damn they worked hard. Renee kept everything stocked in the kitchen area and the cleanest I've seen of one of these free breakfast. Ward kept things moving in the dining area. The rest of the staff was no exception. All of the people I saw (and many more I'm sure I didn't) and briefly interacted with, we're cheerful and welcoming as well as hard working. This location has become my standard for motel stays of this kind.

Very poor breakfast. No muffins available. Sweet roles only one of four mornings and then stale. Sausage overcooked and dried out. No bananas. Hot breakfast dishes mediocre at best.

Everything was great! From the check-in to the check-out.. everything perfect...the service, the room, bed, pillow, shower, but esp the breakfast...it was outstanding..egg omelet, sausage, biscuit and gravy, country potatoes, oatmeal, waffles, dry cereal, pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, variety of juices, milk, and of course coffee! When traveling thru again, this will be my spot.

The property is standard for a 3-Star hotel. If you are looking for a good place to rest your head, have a little light breakfast in the am (because the food was alright but not fantastic) then you have found your place. The hotel is located close to the highway. The only thing was that the gym was a bit small, could maybe only fit about 2-3 people max.

Amazing front desk staff! They were super helpful and friendly. Room was clean and in great shape. The workout room was adequate. But the over-the-top reason to stay here is for the breakfast!! It was INCREDIBLE. A lot of variety and Melissa takes personal care to make sure you are taken care of.

Was not impressed by this location. It was a busy hotel. One gentleman at check-in, very flustered since they had a new computer system it seemed. But he did his best. The room we had at the end of a hall was horrible. As soon as we walked in, it smelled like sewage. And the door was broken. We almost couldn't get it closed again. I immediately went back downstairs and requested a new room. The gentleman apologized and did accommodate us with a new room. It still wasn't the best and had a mild funky smell, but it worked for the night. I probably wouldn't stay there again.

Breakfast was basic sausage, cereals, eggs, good muffins, etc. Room was clean and comfortable. However, I placed a do not disturb sign on the door at 7 a.m. and took it off at 10:30 when I left. The room was not made up when I got back at 3 p.m. I inquired at the front desk, and they said it was because I placed the sign out earlier, but the cleaning staff has gone for the day. They gave me 2 big towels and had no small or medium towels available.
