This was no fault of the woman behind the desk but the computer stopped working and there was a huge line of us waiting to get checked in. It took almost an hour to get that done. Hot tub was not working and looked super gross. Room was clean enough, the kids liked the pool. Didn't stay for breakfast.

Hot tub was broken so they upgraded one of our rooms to a jacuzzi room. All of the staff were great. Owner Sammy is a fantastic guy, very pleasant and friendly. Parking was fine and the area was covered by security cameras. Rooms were clean and satisfactory.

Indoor pool was beautiful and warm. Room was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Felt secure. Disappointed that the spa and gym were not available. Property is in need of some repair, but overall it was a good experience.

Room was nice and clean. Enough parking. Also had 4 6kw ev charging outlets for free use. Got a full charge overnight!! Also had an indoor pool, but did not have enough time to use it. The only drawback was the breakfast which was pretty much non existent even at 7:30am. Timing was 6-9am, so youd expect things to be avaliable at 7:30am. But there was not even milk to go with the cereal. And the staff said they are waiting on restocking and dont have anything. There was only a few packaged mini muffins, oats, bread coffee, cereal (no milk) and an automatic pancake machine which had maybe one more bag of batter left. I was expecting eggs to load up on before headed into the national park for a hike. But there wasnt even milk!

I booked online hoping to take my kids to the indoor pool. When I arrived to check in, I noticed the pool was closed, and it turned out it was empty! The receptionist was impatient as I was trying to figure out if I should stay because I was looking forward to the pool for my three children. I asked if I could have a refund since the website had no sign or disclosure that the pool was out of service. She refused a refund. Later, I requested to change my stay to a later date, but they also refused. I was very unhappy and went on to book another hotel in the same area that had a pool, very nice staff, and a better price.

Was a bit scruffy. The service desk was just ok. The hot tub and exercise room were unavailable. The price was reasonable. The room was clean.

Hot tub did not appear to have jets working. Pool was fantastic! No coffee pot in room, even when requested.

No elevator

Shower amenities ran out and were not refilled; the exercise room has not been working since 2019 (stop advertising that is is available), unsavory characters were hanging around the lobby.

Good breakfast choices, indoor pool and hot tub. Super awesome place.

The staff were amazing! However, the room was very dirty and the common areas (hallway, rear exit, and carpeting on the stairs) were stained and full of cobwebs.

Not clean. Splattered stuff on the ceiling looked like blood to me. All of the sheets and blankets had nasty stains. I didn’t even get under the top blanket after I seen all of the stains. Some looked like they could be blood stains. So grossed out. The shower body wash and shampoo dispensers looked nasty on top and Almost empty. Lucky we only had to spend one night here. Definitely won’t be back.

Unbelievably disgusting. Arrived latenight entered a room that smelled like a dirty ashtray. The manager at check in warned us of a water leak from the toiet. Because they were sold out we were instructed to use towels to manage the leak. Outside our window in the parking lot below was a chain smoking meth head. There was dogfood in the corner of the room. The carpet was stained everywhere and the furniture scratched. The bedsheets were stained but smelled like bleach. The deadbolt did not lock so we rigged up the icebucket in case of entry while we slept. We crashed in our clothes for about 6 hours and then got out of there. I noticed hair on the walls of the shower and a stained shower curtain. We await the refund for the 2nd booking of the room that was unacceptable.

The lock on the room door was broken and the carpets had stains all over them. The stairs to the second floor were also very dirty. We had another booking with them scheduled for a week later and I canceled it right after leaving and booked at another hotel.

The place was filthy and smelled!! Stained carpets in the room and out. Worst place we have ever stayed.

There was black mold in my room. The wallpaper fell off, and there was black mold behind it did not discount my room moved me to a different room that still smelled like mold.

There where stain on sheets mold in bathroom and broken dressers hanging off the track and smelled awful

Next door there were dogs in the room that we could hear moving around and they barked in the middle of the night. I checked in and got to our room, the room hadn't even been cleaned yet.

Room was filthy and killed a cockroach in the bathroom. Immediately checked out and was refunded. Staff was embarrassed but very helpful. Do not recommend. Carpet was stained, everything was scratched and damaged.

We booked this hotel because it had a hot tub. The hot tub had caution tape around it with dirty sludge. The pool was unheated and cloudy. The computer system was slow so even though they asked me to pre-register, I had to wait over 30 minutes to check-in. When we got to the room, the beds were filthy. They had dirt/sand in them and bits of leaves. Both beds in our room had this problem. The shower head was so high up that I, a five

We had room 201, A king suite, we got there pretty late at night, 1030, or so. We were really tired. We get to the room & go in get ready for bed & my husband noticed that there is about A 1 inch gap in the door, you could see out into the hall way, & that means anyone on the outside could see into the room. He says " I bet you could go out & by sliding the room key over the door latch you could come right in" & thats exactly what he did, one swipe with the card he was in the room. We were so tired we just took the bedspread & hung it over the gap & hoped no one would come in. I didnt get any sleep, i was so worried. We got up & went down & I told the lady at front desk about the gap & how easy it is for anyone to just come in, & she says she wasnt aware of it & that they didnt have a maintenance man. She acted like she could care less. We went back up to room & I look at reviews & there was A man who also stayed in 201 that said the exact same thing i did, so the hotel did know of the issue & just never fixed it. So I go back down to talk to the manager & of course NO MANAGER ON SITE! COME ON BAYMONT BY WYNDHAM ANDERSON, This is A MAJOR SAFTEY ISSUE, you shouldnt even be renting that room until its fixed! The sad thing is the room was nice & comfortable. We wont stay again. The employees need to care more about the safety of their customers! I know alot of people who stay there, thats how i found out about it, but they wont stay there anymore either! Thats A huge $ loss

Could not sleep!!! There were people chit chatting right outside our window at like 3am… The walls were so thin I could hear EVERYTHING going on in the room right next to ours…. People were up at 5am.. I was so miserable trying to get some rest… the room was clean and staff were nice but man, got stuck w a horrible room number that night, very unlucky

The beds were rock hard , the shower was dirty and leaking terribly. The room next to us was partying or something. It was not good

Room was hot when I entered. I turned on the AC and it looks like it’s not working great. Room is not cooling off. The sink is disgusting. It’s clearly clogged and has not been cleaned. I had to brush my teeth in the tub.

Nice big room and an awesome jacuzzi tub right in the room. Loved it!!!!

We had quite the experience at this hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the smell inside was extremely strong (I don't do well with strong scents). I saw reviews saying it had been remodeled recently, but the wallpaper was peeling, the toilet was wobbly, there was a big hole in the carpet, and to top it all off, the drain fell out of the sink. I do want to add in that the receptionist was quick to call the maintenance person and then get us a new room once they found out it couldn't be fixed right away, so we appreciated that! Overall it was a very interesting experience!

The room is spacious & the parking lot. Clean room & have enough space for 3 to 5 people together.

Things they don’t tell you. The suite has a balcony over looking the pool. Cool idea. BUT. There are no drapes just super thin window coverings, so you can see and hear the pool. I’d assume the people in the pool can also see into the room which is awkward when the in room hot tub you sprung for is right across from it. The pool is open until 10 so prepare for loud voices, exhaust fan and a faint chlorine smell. The room itself was very nice and we did our best to not let all the little things get in our way. The hotel is being renovated. It’ll be really nice in a year I bet.

We appreciate the hard work of the staff at the hotel. Specifically, Talib during the graveyard shift was extremely helpful and kind, offering great solutions to a late night issue and using compassion to do so, and i think her name was Bailne (that's who my receipt was printed by) in the morning who handles the entire breakfast service and all front desk tasks solo. You two are the real MVPs!

Reserved two rooms but they had to make sure there were 2 rooms available when we checked in. While in the room someone tried coming in. They had a key card so the room we were put in they tried putting someone else in too. Didn’t sleep well after that!

Most of the amenities were ok. I waited for nearly half an hour for the guest ahead of me to be checked in. I was tired after the drive. When I got up to the desk I learned that there were IT issues. I was told I would have to give them $300 cash to check in. When I was visibly upset the clerk thought I was rude. I thought of walking away and eating my payment but I was tired and was carrying enough cash to cover. The next day when I went to get my deposit back of course they had to go inspect the room before they would give me my money back. I will never stay there again.

The front desk manager (Mike) is an absolute star. He was super courteous, helpful getting me a room so I could see my truck/trailer (security concerns, this is CA), gave me great advice about local restaurants, fixed my TV, and was an example of the kind of employee every company would love to have. Hopefully management recognizes how much of an asset he is to them. The hotel is nothing special; Mike is!

Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Always checking in and making sure everything was fine while we were in the pool, asked what kind of music we wanted to listen to. Breakfast was delicious and so easy to serve. The room was HUGE and quiet, beds were comfy. 10/10 would recommend!

The room is decent. I requested for connecting rooms because I booked for 2 rooms. Didn’t get it. We were given rooms that are from one end to another. And then the breakfast was just disaster. The front desk staff on that day (Aug20th, Sunday) didn’t seem to care if the breakfast corner still has breakfast. There were no more eggs, I told her about it. She came back after a few minutes with some eggs in a glass tray and microwaved it right there at the breakfast corner. She just placed it there and left it after pressing the numbers. Did not even bother to check if there anything else she could replenish, and by that time, there were no more bread slices, there were no spoons, no more sausages. Like, what does she expect people have for breakfast? I understand she may be busy but she has been seen chitchatting most of that breakfast time. Also, what happened to customer service and hospitality? If breakfast cannot be provided at all times during the period it is supposed to be offered, then just don’t offer it at all. We were so unhappy about this experience that we decided to just get breakfast delivered by doordash. It’s just so unpleasant. I would not want to go back and stay here again.

Breakfast was in a small room very limited ran out because as soon as they replenished it iwas gone. Front desk ladies were very helpful but the manager was horrible. Double charged my card and said it was expedias fault. Expedia is dealing with the issue.

When we arrived around 9pm Mike was working at the front desk and he was amazing, in the morning I witnessed a guest was checking out and she was asking for her deposit back the morning stuff denied her the deposit back because she didn’t have her receipt even Mike written down any way I didn’t stay to see if she got her deposit back, I hope she got it back, by the way she showed them her ID.

Nicely appointed room, convenient location.

The facility was located near the shopping area and eating establishments. The place was well kept and very clean. I have nothing negative to say about this place. I had a fantastic stay!

Our biggest and most delightful surprise (that is, after the warm welcome from Brie upon arriving on Thanksgiving night) was that the hotel has not one, but TWO EV chargers. This is a dog-friendly hotel and while our two were quiet, a very vocal small dog in the room next door missed their people when they were out of the room. Walls are fairly thin. Bed was comfortable, we had everything we needed. No coffee maker in the room but carafes available in the lobby were terrific. And a luggage cart, but know there's no elevator if you're on the 2nd floor. We had no problems, but others might.

The property is halfway through renovations. Pretty easy to see what has and hasn’t been touched. Luckily the inside of the rooms was updated. Hallways and stairwells smelled bad of cigarettes. kind of a rougher crowd staying here, might be location.

Nice enough property. The rooms are clean and comfortable, staff is very nice. Breakfast was okay. We felt safe, with easy access to multiple restaurants

This hotel was so convenient with being right off the freeway. Parking was very accessible. I felt safe for my family and my car in the area it was in. Quite with little to no traffic coming in and out except for people staying at the hotel. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in Anderson!

Breakfast was very minimal. Half the offerings were out of order or nobody had properly prepared food items the shift before leaving the breakfast crew without.

Someone had spilled orange juice on the floor and didn’t bother to tell staff. When told, it was quickly cleaned up. We were on the first floor and the hallway reeked of cigarette and marijuana smoke. The indoor pool was very nice since it ended up raining the entire time we were here. We did have to ask for pool towels to be restocked. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful though. Location was convenient- close to freeway and shopping.

Our stay was great room was clean beds were comfortable, great area only thing is the breakfast they needed to keep it stocked by the time we got down to it it was all gone and noone was restocking no muffins no bread no milk etc

Great amenities! In room hot tub was excellent! Pool was great! Beautiful room and property. The room needed better cleaning and maintenance. Not informed of the $200 deposit until arrival. Front desk agent at check in was very kind, professional and provided excellent customer service. Front desk agent at check out was very unprofessional. Talking about other staff negatively. And had a negative demeaner. Poor customer service. Breakfast was terrible and there was not enough food provided to feed the customers. Breakfast area was filthy. This is a great property! With a few changes, it would be an excellent motel.

It was a great stay until breakfast. Then most of the items were empty except for pancakes and the man was cooking the eggs in the microwave right at service area. Not very appetizing. Other than the food and coffee being gone it was a very nice stay.

The beds and pillows were comfy. The motel was a little dingy. Breakfast was pretty decent but you'll want to get there early or there won't be anything left. One morning they did run out of plates, but we made due. Not a bad option for a short stay.
