The service and food were excellent but the hotel was very dated & smelled of mildew. It was just purchased so hopefully the new owner will give it a refresh and update. The location and surrounding area are excellent. The hotel is large with a banquet area and game room which were nice to have.

The poor experience started when I called to let the hotel know I’d be checking in late. The staff person was abrupt. When I actually checked in the person was ambivalent and unfriendly. The facility does not seem like anything has been updated in over 30 years. It is very dated and worn. There were very few people in the hotel. Reminded me of “The Shining” movie. The rooms were not the cleanest and I did not have any cleaning service the 3 nights I was there. Run don’t walk from this property.

Need to adhere to closing pool when stated on the door. I was awakened at 2am by people being in the pool. Isn't the pool supposed to close at 11pm? Hotel needs a upgrade. Period. Mold in tub.

Very disappointed. We called the front desk because at 11:30pm a wedding party was blasting music at the pool and jumping in with clothes on. They were rude and said too bad the party has contracted to use the pool. The question remains why did you sell us a room that looks out onto the pool. Secondly the property advertised free breakfast. When I went for breakfast the dining area was for wedding party only. The front desk said again too bad they contracted. Facilities have not been updated in thirty years and mold in the bathtub. Drive a little further away for a better night sleep and less rude hosts.

This was a disappointing experience for a Wyndham conference hotel. The meeting rooms are in disrepair and the restaurant/bar has odd hours, closing at 9 pm on a Saturday night. There is an odor in the hallways that is off-putting and the TV channel menu is counter-intuitive to anything I had seen before.

This was the grossest hotel I have ever stayed in. This place used to be the place when I was a kid, growing up in the area. But it looked like it hadn’t been updated since it was built. The lights were dim and some not working properly. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls and there was old food stuck on the walls. Very disappointing to see the place has gone down hill.

It was a nice place to stay the night. Didn't get to take advantage or explore the options they offered since we only stayed the night after a concert in Cleveland. It was clean and the staff were very friendly.

The door on side b does not lock which is concerning for a single traveler. There was mold in the bathroom and the tv would not shut off, so i needed to inplug it.

Property was clean, check-in was one of the fastest I’ve ever encountered and staff was professional. The building and decor is older (dated) so if you’re looking for a more modern stay this wouldn’t be it. They serve coffee and pastries in the morning, free of charge. Overall good experience if I had to stay here again I would.

I stayed in a nice suite room that for some reason was the same price as a regular one, when I booked it. It was nice and quiet, and relaxing. My only issue was I was really hoping to take a bath, but I couldn't get the stopper to actually stay down, and it wouldn't fill the tub, so I had to throw away the bath products I brought with me. I probably could have called about it, but it felt too much like a first world problem to complain about. I just thought I'd warn bath enjoyers. Otherwise it was a clean and comfortable room, In fact I think I might come back and stay again someday. I felt like I was one of probably 3 guests in the whole hotel on Monday night, which to me is as good as it gets.

I am sure this hotel was elegant in its day. And the room itself felt okay...perhaps a little worn...and a little too dark..with not many outlets for today's tech stuff. The air conditioning seemed difficult to manipulate. We were glad to have coffee available...would have been nice to just be able to have breakfast there..but not available. The staff were very kind, nice and helpful. It was very close to our wedding venue site so that was awesome.

Room was very cold-the staff changed are room quickly-was disappointed that the restaurant was not open till late-did not have a vehicle-was hoping to eat breakfast/lunch there. Would be a plus to have some sort of dining available-especially for breakfast! Staff was very courteous.

Our room was ok, I was expecting a microwave in our room. The air conditioner was outdated. I had to clean the balcony chairs myself. They gave me cleaner at the front desk. It should have been cleaned. They couldn't can it because housekeeping went home for the evening. I called down to tell them I was done with the cleaner and they told me to bring it down! For that price, I shouldn't have had to clean or take the cleaner to them. I really liked where our room was I was very quiet.

Staff was friendly, and the room was clean. I requested maid service between days and never got it. Interior furnishings are dated, with a refrigerator sitting on top of what should have been the desk. The continental breakfast was worthless.

Property was clean, check-in was one of the fastest I’ve ever encountered and staff was professional. The building and decor is older (dated) so if you’re looking for a more modern stay this wouldn’t be it. They serve coffee and pastries in the morning, free of charge. Overall good experience if I had to stay here again I would.

Our room was not available at check in which was an already late 4:00. We were in town for a wedding and waited until almost 5:00 for our room to be available. The front desk staff was not friendly and I am sure that others were complaining about no check-in but maybe offer an apology or a drink voucher at the very least. Finally, the tub was receiving back-up overflow from who knows where and during the evening of our stay on August 16, water started streaming from the ceiling in the bathroom/vanity area, causing us to exit at 6:45 am.

Our room was ok, I was expecting a microwave in our room. The air conditioner was outdated. I had to clean the balcony chairs myself. They gave me cleaner at the front desk. It should have been cleaned. They couldn't can it because housekeeping went home for the evening. I called down to tell them I was done with the cleaner and they told me to bring it down! For that price, I shouldn't have had to clean or take the cleaner to them. I really liked where our room was I was very quiet.

The service and food were excellent but the hotel was very dated & smelled of mildew. It was just purchased so hopefully the new owner will give it a refresh and update. The location and surrounding area are excellent. The hotel is large with a banquet area and game room which were nice to have.

I stayed in a nice suite room that for some reason was the same price as a regular one, when I booked it. It was nice and quiet, and relaxing. My only issue was I was really hoping to take a bath, but I couldn't get the stopper to actually stay down, and it wouldn't fill the tub, so I had to throw away the bath products I brought with me. I probably could have called about it, but it felt too much like a first world problem to complain about. I just thought I'd warn bath enjoyers. Otherwise it was a clean and comfortable room, In fact I think I might come back and stay again someday. I felt like I was one of probably 3 guests in the whole hotel on Monday night, which to me is as good as it gets.

I am sure this hotel was elegant in its day. And the room itself felt okay...perhaps a little worn...and a little too dark..with not many outlets for today's tech stuff. The air conditioning seemed difficult to manipulate. We were glad to have coffee available...would have been nice to just be able to have breakfast there..but not available. The staff were very kind, nice and helpful. It was very close to our wedding venue site so that was awesome.

The hotel was probably high end years ago. It was reasonably priced, clean and as pictured. The water pressure is low but I enjoyed our stay. Overall I’d recommend. We stayed for one night while we saw a baseball game.

Room was very cold-the staff changed are room quickly-was disappointed that the restaurant was not open till late-did not have a vehicle-was hoping to eat breakfast/lunch there. Would be a plus to have some sort of dining available-especially for breakfast! Staff was very courteous.

This was a disappointing experience for a Wyndham conference hotel. The meeting rooms are in disrepair and the restaurant/bar has odd hours, closing at 9 pm on a Saturday night. There is an odor in the hallways that is off-putting and the TV channel menu is counter-intuitive to anything I had seen before.

When I booked this property I read the reviews and they were terrible. But the room was fine. Plumbing could use some work, but the the bed was soft warm and dry, and the shower hot and wet. No mold or dust bunnies in sight. Staff was great. TV and wifi worked. But no breakfast even through there is a restaurant. Parking looked easy and safe. But I suspect this conference center was built when Aurora had better prospects and is now a money loser for the owners. My brother says the food there is fine, but I had an opposite experience. Still the staff made it right. In any event there are restaurants close by.
