Homewood Suites by Hilton Bloomington

Very disappointed…. once arrived and unpacked. No where does it mention the Hot Tub is OUT OF SERVICE! The front desk lady didn’t mention anything either! You would think this would be listed on the front page, informing guests that the hot tub is not in use. Furthermore, we chose Homewood Suites,not only for the hot tub, but for the outdoor courtyard, that included a propane fire pit, which was also Out of Service! How can the top 2 amenities be out of service with no warnings or communication with guests?!?! A Hilton Brand Hotel should not be hiding or disclosing this kind of important information. Please do better! There was also an old piece of cake on top of the refrigerator, hiding behind the ice bin(picture attached)

Great experience. Nice space

I’ll speak positive first, the room was beyond spacious, very clean, great area, decent bed, living area was nice and so was the staff. The breakfast was good enough but they ran out of things and didn’t refill. I’d still go back based on these things. Great job here. However the pool area… I selected this hotel based off 2 things. Location and hot tub. The pool area was distasteful. I had cancer and go in small vacations with hopes of soaking achy muscles. This isn’t the first time hotels.com sent me off, it’s about the 5th. Photos weren’t updated at all. Had I seen an accurate photo from this site I would’ve NEVER paid the extra $250 for this place. The pool area was rusted, smelly, and gross. The hot tub wasn’t working and the pool looked like minimal maintenance had been done. The bottom of the pool couldn’t be seen, that’s how dirty the water was. The water fountains were rusted out and should be removed. I called ahead of time to make sure the hot tub was functional since I’ve been misled so many times by this site. I was told it’s working and booked. I’m beyond disappointed once again. I can’t believe the lie I was told or the false pics presented by hotels.com. Time and time again I get disappointed and walk away from my relaxing getaway in pain.

Our stay was wonderful. I had multiple people under my reservation coming at different times and check in was so easy. The rooms, bathrooms, dining area were very clean. Breakfast was well stocked. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to others.
