Hot tub wasn't working. No towels available at the pool. Staff very friendly. Door on room bathroom needed to be replaced. Very good location to local state park and lots of dining options. Very near University.

Our stay was extremely disappointing. The property was in poor condition. The hot tub, pool, and surrounding areas were visibly dirty, and the carpets in the hallways were stained and unkept. Inside the room, we found mold on the shower curtain, mouse droppings on the bathroom floor, handprints on the headboard, and dead bugs in the drawers. Even worse, there were cockroaches in the bedside drawers and what appeared to be dirt or insect feces behind the bed. We were offered a 25% discount for the inconvenience, but it was never applied to our account. Overall, this was an unacceptable experience and I would not recommend staying here ever.

Room was fine and clean and the price was fair, but the facilities were in rough shape. Pool was dirty and hot tub was both dirty and broken. Most floors needed vacuuming. Simple things lacking, like conditioner was replaced with "shower lotion." Staff was nice, but the facilities were generally lacking in upkeep. Wouldn't stay there again.

Waited to get check in for over 15 mins before anyone every showed up to the front counter. Hotel is very outdated. Pool was not clean and hot tub does not work properly. Bathroom toilet also had a leak.

Pros: Quiet, price reasonable. Pool amd hot tub - did not try either, breakfast Cons: No hot water for showers . Lukewarm water at best. Location is not comvenient, u turn to go back towards IU. Stinks during traffic. Musty damp smell in hotel. No elevators but only 2 floors. Meh breakfast.

Check in staff was nice and helpful, but the hotel itself really needs some updates and deep cleaning. The biggest bummer was that the hot tub was broken, especially after looking forward to it after a long drive. The main pool temp was fine, but the water looked so dirty that none of us wanted to get in. Breakfast was fine. Overall, it served its purpose for a quick one-night trip, but we'll stay somewhere different next time.

The room was decent enough. I didn't get a wakeup call after asking for one. The hot tub was broken. There is road construction that makes the hotel harder to access, though that is temporary and obviously not the hotel's fault.

The room had not been cleaned properly. The sink had hair and dirt in it and the toilet had not been cleaned either. The morning of our second night no one came to clean. The front desk said to leave dirty towels and trash outside the door in the hallway where it layed for 24 hrs.

Our first room was terribly dirty. Blood specks on pillow, what appeared to be a booger on the headboard, and dirty standing water in the bath. We asked for a clean room and was moved into the room next door. It was only slightly better with what appeared to be dried blood on the bathtub floor, handprint smears all over the vanity mirror, and cigarette/bottle cap on the balcony. The only saving grace is the people who worked there. The morning front desk person and person doing the breakfast were great.

We have stayed here before with no issues…that being said we checked in around 730 pm and just like always no matter what hotel we checked the bed for bug signs. Everything looked ok till around 2 am when the lights went out the bed bugs came out. Stayed in room 307 went and told the front desk and show her she was not helpful at all! Was rude and said she didn’t want them down here and didn’t offer a new room or discount or even come look into it! So we packed up our stuff in the middle of the night to sleep in our van in the parking lot! So i paid my rate to possibly get bugs in our stuff and we’re on our beds only to sleep in a cold van…I could have save time and being grossed out for free if we didn’t stay here! Front desk was just so very rude will never ever be back to this one! Thanks for taking our money and giving us the hebbie jeebies!

This was absolutely the filthiest, most depressing hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The smell in the hallways and room actually made my eyes water it was so disgusting. Everything had a layer of grime and filth. I’m shocked we didn’t get bed bugs honestly. The breakfast was pathetically bad - the waffle maker didn’t work, the juice machine was broken, the hardboiled eggs were moldy, there was no milk, no syrup. I mean literally there was just nothing but moldy nasty food and broken appliances. Seriously - do not stay here, it is beyond terrible.

Our room was not clean. One of the beds had multiple stains on the comforter and a hole from probably a cigarette. One pillow case was stained. There was a huge red/ brown stain on the mattress showing through the fitted sheet. The bed skirt had several spots of a thick brown substance on it. It looked absolutely filthy! There were a couple small pieces of glass on the floor beside the bed and the wall and a brown/red stain too. The whole floor left the bottom of our socks dirty. The curtain had rips in it. Our room also had an old stale smell. The hotel in general appears old. The hallways are very dingy and dark with dirty carpet and a stale smell. The only redeeming quality was the breakfast - it was nice to have waffles! We would never stay here again nor would we recommend it to anyone!

The room was not properly cleaned. Bathroom floor was a mess. The bathroom door was falling appart. I personally cleaned the toilet seat and door knobs. There was dried food on the table that I had to clean before we could use it.

The room was clean and spacious. However, their were only 2 hangers provided and the microwave was not capable of making popcorn. No where on the property was there a drinking fountain or a place to fill up a water bottle. We used the hot tub cautiously because we saw how visibly dirty the pool was. For the price, the sleeping quarters were fine for a short stay with breakfast included, but very few other amenities.

No issues. Quick and easy check in. Walls were a little thin and we had a family with several little ones next door. It didn't really bother me though...I have grandkids so I know it's not easy to keep them content and quiet in hotels.

Now that road construction is almost finished access to the hotel is excellent. Nice and quiet with the property set back off the main road. The rooms on the backside have a little balcony that looks over onto a little lake. It was nice to sit out on. The hotel itself is older but seems to be solid and well taken care of. Obviously renovated at some point in the not so distant past. The room was in good shape and had typical furniture. Clean. Front desk was friendly and helpful. And for the price it overall was excellent. Only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because it isn't some fancy resort. But for the price it's definitely five stars. I didn't eat breakfast or go swimming so no opinion there. I did walk around the pool area and it seemed nice.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality for a $70 per night stay. Comfortable beds, the place seems like its from the 1980's but its refurbished nicely. The pool was better than expected and really no complaints. Better than expected for the price and a bit of a European feel inside.

Would have gave 5 stars but there was a god awful smell coming from the mini fridge. Hated that. Opened the balcony door for an hour or two to try and clear it out, but it persisted. Other than that the stay was solid. I’m in a hotel multiple times every week all over the country and only ever review if I have a complaint worthy enough to say something, or the stay was exceptionally great. The pillows were perfect, the bed was soft, shower was good, balcony is a nice touch. Other than the smell radiating from the mini fridge the room was nice. Thanks

The worst hotel experiences I have ever had. So-Called "hot" breakfast was stone cold. Coffee was disgusting. And those were the good points. When toilet backed up and I called to the front desk there was no answer, even after repeated calls. Went down to find the front desk clerk asleep at his computer. Woke him and explained the situation, to which he angrily replied, "that's not my problem." I explained that, in fact, it is his problem so he stormed off and came back several minutes later with a plunger that he handed to me. I asked how I was supposed to deal with the water on the floor and he responded, "I'm not leaning it up." I demanded he call his manager who was able to get another person who works there to help--and he was very helpful. But this was a truly horrid experience and I cannot believe anyone would put this person as their front desk clerk.

We arrived just after 4pm on Friday, June 21st after almost 6 hours of travel. Wasn’t greated by attendant at desk. He sat there just looking bored and never even said hello. I introduced myself and told him that I had a reservation for the night. I didn’t realize there was not an elevator which was totally my own fault. My husband is disabled and I am recovering from torn meniscus in Right knee. We were put on third floor. I asked the attendant if there was a room available on the second floor, which would be the entrance floor and he said “ not unless we have a cancellation”. I asked if there was any place Close that was a good place to eat and he replied “there’s a McDonald’s right down the street”. Also, the Floor in our room look like it had Not been mopped in a very long time. The bathtub was dirty, and there was no handicap bar by the toilet. I would have given it one star, except for the fact that the bed was actually comfortable and morning desk attendant was very, very nice and courteous. There is also construction in this area, which made it hard getting in and out from the road too.

I typed a detailed review of my major problem and it disappeared. Another huge irritation on top of my reservation being mysteriously deleted. Overall comment, without adding detsils was the stay was the worst I have taken during my 3 million miles and almost 3000 nights in Marriott Hotels with normal rewards.

Jesse checked me in. It was painful. He stared for a very long time at my driver’s license, holding it close. Was he high or did he have poor eyesight? Initially told me that he couldn’t find my reservation. Long pause. I told him I got a confirmation. He did find it. I was not happy that hotel did not have an elevator, I started dragging my suitcase up the stairs, another patron offered to help, and did. While I ate breakfast the next morning, I did enjoy a waffle, but the two bins for biscuits and whatever was next to it were empty and never refilled in the time I was there. I do appreciate a hot breakfast, so at least I got hot waffles and a toasted bagel I made myself. But I did get an affordable good nights sleep, and that was what I needed

Had a reservation via Expedia. Received confirmation number from Expedia and Quality Inn. I show up at the front desk to be told my reservation had be cancelled. Could not tell me by who, just asked me to call expedia. Called expedia customer service and they could not understand why the hotel cancelled the reservation. They were on the line with the hotel for 45 minutes, they could not explain to Expedia why they cancelled it, but they accepted no responsibility. Worst part was there was no room available for more than 30 miles away. I went to Indianapolis and spend the night. Stay away from places like that. FYI: Because it was a last minute reservation the rate was $590 for one night? That place is a dumpster, but had no choice. Thankfully they will refund the money.

We had very great experience during our stay at the Quality Inn in Bloomington, Indiana. The staff was very friendly, helpful and very professional. We are planning to stay there next time we go to Bloomington. We are very satisfied.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very warm and inviting and delicious. I had to inform the front desk that there was no shampoo in the shower and I found a small screw in the bottom of the tub n there was a problem with the toilet running constantly. I noticed there were mildew stains at the bottom of the shower curtain. I had stayed for 2 nights and upon getting to my room the second night I noticed the bed was not made the towels were not freshened n the trash was not taken out. It was just disappointing getting to my room after a long day out n wanting to jump into a freshly made bed and it wasn’t done

Now that road construction is almost finished access to the hotel is excellent. Nice and quiet with the property set back off the main road. The rooms on the backside have a little balcony that looks over onto a little lake. It was nice to sit out on. The hotel itself is older but seems to be solid and well taken care of. Obviously renovated at some point in the not so distant past. The room was in good shape and had typical furniture. Clean. Front desk was friendly and helpful. And for the price it overall was excellent. Only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because it isn't some fancy resort. But for the price it's definitely five stars. I didn't eat breakfast or go swimming so no opinion there. I did walk around the pool area and it seemed nice.

The place was cute but the breakfast was aweful. I wouldnt give it a dog..burned sausage overcooked hard boil eggs. For spending close to 400 for a room during an IU game it should be better.

I booked this hotel because it had a hot tub. It was working but was making a ver loud noise because there either wasn’t enough water or too much. The room was clean. The tv was very small. Breakfast was really good.

No real problems but the hotel and rooms in particular need some updating. Pillows were uncomfortable but bed was good. Curtain fell down and I fixed it. Room was not serviced at all while I was there for 4 days. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was mediocre but adequate. Need more hot foods.

This was absolutely the filthiest, most depressing hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The smell in the hallways and room actually made my eyes water it was so disgusting. Everything had a layer of grime and filth. I’m shocked we didn’t get bed bugs honestly. The breakfast was pathetically bad - the waffle maker didn’t work, the juice machine was broken, the hardboiled eggs were moldy, there was no milk, no syrup. I mean literally there was just nothing but moldy nasty food and broken appliances. Seriously - do not stay here, it is beyond terrible.

The room smelled like a sweaty sock and the pool and hottub looked like someone took a dump in them and turned the heat on. Beds were horrible uncomfortable and the room had old food on the tables and in the corner. 0/10 do not recommend. Oh and the "orange juice" was brown. If you need a place to sleep and your car isn't an option sleep on the ground before you spend money here.

Staff were ok, bed was ok. Whole hotel was under construction. So hard to argue anything was clean beyond the room which was. The room only had 1 small trash can in the bathroom. Water pressure was so bad the toilet would only flush all the way if you held the handle down the entire time and even then sometimes took 2 or three attempts to flush a small square of TP down. Breakfasts were avg at best, but drinks were either not working or empty because the landscappers and flooring people kept coming in and getting juice or food. Morning 2 of our stay offered burnt biscuits and gravy. Pool was ok until we found a brown "mud-like" substance in the water. We got out immediately and went to shower ourselves and the kids off, in case it was what we really thought it was.
