Easy to catch free shuttle to/from Airport, direct pick-up for bus to Whittier cruise terminal. Clerk had no problem with late check-out so we could hang out in our room until bus showed up. Very basic, but very convenient.

This is a very large Motel 6. There are no bells or whistles, nor is there luxury. With that said, it was a decent stay in a clean room. The rooms have a mini refrigerator and a microwave. In the lobby they have cups, plates and utensils for guest use. In the morning they offer coffee and tea. Staff at the front desk and housekeeping were friendly, helpful and efficient. I would recommend staying here, but remember its not luxury if that is what you are looking for.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The motel shuttle that picked me up from the airport was quick and I didn't have to wait. I used Uber to go to Walmart and back. I used Uber eats for dinner. All of the drivers were extremely nice. I gave Uber scheduled to take me to the Train Depot.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The motel shuttle that picked me up from the airport was quick and I didn't have to wait. Stay was ok. Housekeeping done daily but rooms were not clean. We noticed spots and stains in the sheets and linens which was not expected. Rates were high compared to the value received.

Our room was on the first floor next to the lobby and was quite noisy. The walls are thin and we could hear the reception staff talking. Beds are very soft and could use updating/upgrading.

The staff was absolutely friendly and wonderful. I was always greeted with a smile and I was always asked if they could help me with anything. Top Tier Customer Service. My ONLY gripe about the place was the bathroom and the bedroom. The lights flickered in the bathroom and the toilet seemed to be off center... closer to the shower and nearly outside of arms reach of the toilet paper holder. Bedroom was a bit small, but it was well maintained. Could hear water moving through the pipes when I was in the room but that was a minor inconvenience at worst. Overall 4/5 Stars. Will definitely be looking to stay there again the next time I'm in Anchorage. Again, the staff were all absolutely wonderful from the front desk staff to the cleaners. I can't sing their praises enough!

Before booking online, I called to confirm a room was available. The guy on the phone seemed rude after I told him I was booking online, then he hung up without saying bye. I arrived in the evening, could smell marijuana outside. Turns out there is a pot store right across the street. Ran into a homeless guy outside mumbling something. Then tried going to sleep by 11pm but a loud couple were drunk trying to open their hotel door adjacent to my room. They got in and another guest was trying to sleep and told them they had the wrong room! So they went downstairs to get the key to their correct room, then they started arguing and it was easily heard all the way down the hallway! I tried to use the phone to dial the front desk, it wouldn’t work and so I called from my cell but it just rang and rang. I wouldn’t stay here again, and should have spent a few more bucks and stayed elsewhere. I don’t normally give bad reviews either.

The front desk gal was very proactive when we reported on our way out to dinner that the AC didn't work. When she changed our room she personally inspected the room to ensure everything was in order. Kudos!

I was on the list for a shuttle to the airport at 6:30AM. I arrived at the lobby at 6:29 and the shuttle had left. The desk lady basically said tough luck. I took an UBER. The night was punctuated by a horribly coughing guest, and then in the hallway starting at 4:30 AM. I think it was a street person. NEVER AGAIN AT THIS HOTEL

Just your basic budget hotel. No frills, no coffee in room or breakfast buffet. But the staff is very friendly and helpful. Airport shuttle is reliable. Overall, for the price, well worth it (the Fairfield next door is $150/night more expensive than this hotel!). Would stay here again.

The price was very high but was driven by the huge amount of tourism in Anchorage. This also seems to have led to little effort to impress; for example, there was no shampoo, soap, or lotion provided. There was no other curtain besides the blackout curtain so it it was all or nothing. There was no breakfast of any kind provided.

The price was very high but was driven by the huge amount of tourism in Anchorage. This also seems to have led to little effort to impress; for example, there was no shampoo, soap, or lotion provided. Exactly what it said on the tin - comfy room for an airport transfer night. Staff were helpful and friendly - we had breakfast at Heidi’s round the corner which was brilliant

This is a very large Motel 6. There are no bells or whistles, nor is there luxury. With that said, it was a decent stay in a clean room. The rooms have a mini refrigerator and a microwave. In the lobby they have cups, plates and utensils for guest use. In the morning they offer coffee and tea. Staff at the front desk and housekeeping were friendly, helpful and efficient. I would recommend staying here, but remember its not luxury if that is what you are looking for.

One of the reasons I chose this hotel was because the rooms had vinyl floors. This is particularly important in a pet friendly hotel. My hotel room was very clean. It is disappointing to not get breakfast the next morning and I have to say, the coffee was REALLY, REALLY bad. Either, they were using coffee from the day before or they had someone making the coffee really strong. It was undrinkable. All in all, I would stay there again, based on the great job the cleaning staff did and the very reasonable price.

old outdated everything, no lobby area or lounge area, very minimal furnishings, sour linens, growling A/C unit, metal bed frame, ripped curtain hanging from the rod, stinky room / due to too much room fragrance, very sticky linoleum tiles in bedroom, no lamps beside the bed, dimly lit room, scratched door frames, miss matched carpet tiles in hallway, vending machines only.

Clean and easy access. Rates were good, everyone very friendly. Wish it had a breakfast but the coffee was good and there are nearby places to eat.

The motel was clean, newly renovated. It was close to the airport and the shuttle was prompt. It was also s short distance from places downtown Anchorage and the staff was very pleasant, helpful and check in/process was easy.

Another good stay here, 2nd stay in the same week. Again convenient for our trip with washing machines and dryers to use for $2 each and free airport shuttle for returning our rental car. Staff always very helpful.

Shower/bathtub faucet was partially broken. When you turn it on and set it all the way to the left to "hot", it was producing cold water, and was very wobbly, to the point that I thought it might fall off. We told the front desk lady and asked to have someone check it out, she refused saying there's no one she can send to resolve this at that time. We asked if we can use a shower at another room, we had to wash our toddler and were all sweaty after a long day hiking, she refused. She offered to transfer us to a different room, but we've already took out a lot of stuff from luggage and it would've been difficult to pack it all up and move with a toddler. Later, after fiddling with the faucet for a while, I discovered it was installed incorrectly, where the "cold" and "hot" directions were reversed, and you had to turn it slightly to "cold" for hot water to flow. Shows the quality of personnel they hire to install something as basic as a faucet, and the indifference of the receptionist who didn't even bother coming up to the room to at least glance at the issue to see if there was anything else she could do. There was no shampoo, only bar soap. Very unpleasant to wash your hair with bar soap. One of the towels had multiple brown/reddish stains, was it dried feces or blood remnants? If you don't want to replace stained towels that cost $20, shows how little you care about customer satisfaction/reputation/ratings.
