Quality Inn I-74 Batesville

Everything was great, but the pool being down was a little disappointing.

This a hard review because for what I payed it was great value but I'm not sure if I would stay again. From out side it looked awful . All torn drapes on windows etc. I was even reluctant to go in. It was just me and my 7 year old son. But when I got in the staff where friendly and the small breakfast are looked really good and fresh. Pool was closed. Hall way was dark and eary. Got into room and was happy enough. Bath was good with go shower and room was dated but bed etc was clean. Again the curtains / blinds need replaced not good at all. Breakfast was as good as you could have. Good choice and place was clean and tidy. So in ending it wouldn't take much to improve this hotel alot. But for what I paid I really can't complain . Ps plenty of food options walking distance from hotel.

I thought the mattress was way too hard for my liking, the breakfast was very good. Pool was closed for maintenance. Vending machine was broken.staff was very nice.

I would stay here again. The room was dated and had a dated smell kind of like moth balls but not offensive. We arrived very late but the attendant was pleasant, professional and freindly. The breakfast was one of the best we have had at a economical hotel my only complaint would be the air conditioner needs an upgrade and the pool was under construction or something with no prior notice.

Worn out curtains, chairs, in room. Curtains were ripped in multiple places. Chair fabric severely damaged. Pool was out of commission due to maintenance on a holiday weekend???? Staff were great! No issues with any bedding or bathroom items.

The hotel is nice, the staff is friendly and helpful. The room is clean and comfortable. My husband was disappointed that the pool was closed and the orange juice dispenser wasn't working. We've stayed here several times and we've always been happy with our stay.

The first room we got was full of mold and we all started getting sinus issues. Once we opened the closet and saw all of the black mold we requested a new room. The room we got next was upstairs on the 2nd floor and it was mold free but the a/c had issues. The other big issue was they advertised a pool and that is why we paid more to stay there. The pool was shut down and had not been in use for a VERY LONG time. Breakfast was good and there was no bugs

Nice room seems clean. No elevator to 2nd floor you gotta use stairs.

Pool was empty for repairs and the paper on the door looked like it had been up for months. this seems to be very common with Quality inns. The sheer curtains in the room were so old they were falling apart. the common areas smelled musty as the air was not on. The room itself was clean with a nice bed.

There was no elevator. Made it challenging to carry luggage.

Mold, mold, mildew and mold. The room smelled like mildew upon walking in. The air conditioner smelled like mold when we turned it on. The bedding smelled of mildew as if it wasn’t tried properly. We ended up waking up early and leaving.

The room and around the hotel was very dirty. There were literal pee stains on the bedding and when I called down to get a change of bedding, they brought up more and said “these also have stains on them but I promise they’re washed” and said that this was our only option because those are the only sheets they had. The bathrooms and curtains were really bad too. Also to note that the “Queen” size beds were only about as big as a full. There’s no way that someone who’s 5’2 should practically have their feet hanging off a queen size. Also also, when we tried to get something from the vending machine, one was out of order and the other had a hole in the glass and nothing in it. The front staff was friendly

The bed had stains under the normal covers. The food was below average for a hotel. Cleanliness overall was not great. Felt like there could be a major overhaul of the hotel.

When I checked in the floor was wet on 109. The desk person said it rains in sometime. To her credit we did have heavy rains. She gave me another room on first floor. The rooms were both very dirty. Drapes were greasy and torn. carpet very old and looked unclean. Very old facility that really, really needs an upgrade! Would not stay there again.

The staff was very nice and the breakfast area was well kept, Bedding and bathroom were clean, but the curtains were shredded and dirty. Walls were dirty and the furnishings were very old and falling apart.

Long black hair all over the bathroom floor. Kinda gross. My wife and I have short blond hair. We knew it wasn't ours.

Very clean for a 2 star hotel. Staff was friendly and the breakfast good.

The beds were very uncomfortable. You could feel the springs. They need replaced. I always stay here when income to town but now we will look elsewhere it made the visit rough with no sleep

One of beds in room was so worn out I could feel the springs in the sinking mattress. Curtains in the room were shredded and ragged on the ends.

Breakfast was below average. Air conditioner made noises like a door was being opened all night. Very efficient clerk on checkin.

We stayed here following a family wedding in the area. The check in process was easy and the staff was very friendly and informative. The room wasn’t bad for a quick over night. It was outdated and the beds were only double so they were pretty small. The bathroom had some shampoo/conditioner/body wash/lotion. The a/c was initially turned off so when we first got in the room, it was super hot, but it cooled down rather quickly once adjusted.The noise from other rooms was minimal. They had a nice breakfast spread, but we didn’t eat it. Overall the stay was great given the amount of time spent there.

Was a clean but outdated hotel. Service and free breakfast good. Room and beds were small

Front desk lady didn't seem to know what she was doing until she got help.... air conditioner wasn't the best for a 90 degree day

Friendly staff, clean rooms and knowledgeable with directions with the area.

Check in was horrible. I pre-paid the full amount of the room and yet was expected to give another $100 IN CASH just to get to my room.

Have stayed here several times on long trips- it is our go to stop for convenience, however the staff is exceptional- that's what makes this an ideal place to stay. Hailey, at the desk ,is so friendly and sweet and helpful. Will always look for the Batesville exit on our long journeys.

The front staff were very nice and personable - very accommodating. The room is clean, but rather small. The bathroom light fixture is showing some age. Overall, a nice room.

Economy priced hotel, lots of breakfast choices including hot sausages, scrambled eggs, & a pancake machine that spits out 2 freshly made pancakes at a time. In an area with several fast food chains to choose from.

Tucked in the back of a few restaurants and gas station with a graveyard in the back so at least the neighbors are quite

Great location with very friendly staff. Property is older and could use some TLC but it was very clean, beds we’re comfortable and breakfast was fantastic!! 2nd year here and we will be back next year!!

Very good stay. Nice, economical place to stay for an overnight on a trip.

We traveled over a thousand miles to get to graduations, birthdays, and bridal shower. The Batesville location is excellent for us to take a welcome rest. Convenient to restaurants and always friendly staff.

I just stopped by for an overnight on my way through. Price for a single room was good. Room was clean and nice. Bed was comfortable. Had TV, microwave, coffee maker, fridge among other things. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I knew there was a pool, but I had read in other reviews that the pool was closed for one reason or another, and so it was when I was there. Would have been nice, but I am not sure why it is advertised when you can't use it. I'd just as soon not even know about it if it isn't available. Aside of that, the area is directly off the interstate 74. There are some dining options easily walkable from the hotel. I didn't eat out during my short stay, but on the way in they looked like there were plenty of people in these establishments. It really felt like a relatively safe area as well. I know there are some places off the interstate that can be a little sketchy (or a lot), but this isn't one of them. The breakfast was fantastic as well. Scrambled eggs and sausage patties, orange juice, bananas, and an assortment of other prepackaged muffins and other foods (I just go for sausage and eggs - don't pay too much attention to anything else). Its a good hotel. I'll keep it in mind when I'm travelling through again. Nice place.

Best value of the area when I searched between Greensburg and Batesville. The chair and carpet has seen better days, but it was clean. Having the hot breakfast every morning really increases the overall value as well.

Everything was great. Nice clean room and breakfast was hot and good. So many restaurant choices to walk to also. Highly recommend.
