unfortunately it was one of the worst stays we have had in years. door locks were broken, holes in sheets, and felt like it hasnt been cleaned in a while. this place needs a serious make over and investment. inhate to give bad review but there is not a lot to like here

The bed looked like a couch bed frame and was unstable. The bed was stained with as an EMT looked like blood and ripped. The floor was dirty. The room and property did not match the pictures. We didn’t even stay after walking in the room and looking a round and had to get another hotel.

Roaches and unclean conditions were an issue, along with a guest and staff member who appeared to be under the influence. Check-in was stressful, with claims that I owed money despite having already prepaid for the room. While it got sorted out, the experience raised some concerns.

My stay was absolutely horrible when we walked in to our first room the sheets and bed was completely filthy and there was burn marks on the sheets and comforters and I checked the bathroom the vent was hanging off the wall and there was roaches in the shower so me and my husband went down to complain and the man behind the counter came and looked at the room so he gave us another room and then got mad at us for checking the sheets and the new room had some yellow stain on the sheets we did stay but would not recommend this hotel to anyone also the pictures do not look nothing like the room

Efficient and clean room. No hair dryer, bed a bit creaky, and one bedbug. But good bathroom, pleasant main room. Nothing special, and that's ok. This place has a low price for a reason, and it is worth it. Also, plenty of places to walk to.

Absolutely terrible. Stayed for 20minutes and had to leave. The room did not look like the picture provided upon booking, there was a terrible smell upon entry as well as in check in. Once in the room the bed had stains on the sheets and mattress, the walls were all chipped and banged up, the bathroom had old rust spots and the carpet was all ripped up. When turned the heat on smelled like something had died in it. The noise level, you could hear all conversations in adjacent rooms, doors slamming and the traffic was terrible. Packed our things and left, never again! Travellers beware…NOT HOW ROOM IS ADVERTISED.

Upon check in the attendant was nice however on his cell phone video chatting with a woman. He gave me the card said oh yea your room is 208. Upon entering the room I noticed multiple cigarette burns on the comforter as well as a large oily looking stain. There were no free plugs in the actual room itself to charge our phones so we had to sacrifice the refrigerator plug. Bathroom was clean but clearly rusted and painted over. Upon pulling back the blankets I’d found that the bed was covered with 2 flat sheets (no fitted sheet) the box frame on the bed now visible had multiple stains on it. Overall not a very pleasant feeling. Given the hour we’d gotten in and having driven 16 hours we’d sacrificed trying to find another place but wouldn’t recommend going there to anyone!!

This is an old building with outdoor entrances to the rooms. Inside and out, everything you see is worn out and shabby. The repairs that have been done over the years were done poorly. There were cigarette burns in the bathroom and in the bedspread. There was no cigarette smell, only a faint disinfectant smell.The bed was advertised as a queen, but it was actually a full. This was not a problem for me since I was traveling solo, but it could be an issue for couples or families. The pillows were small, but they were nice and firm, just the way I like them. There was a microwave and mini fridge: I didn't use them, but they seemed to be in working order. The air conditioner worked well, and was whisper quiet. The desk clerk was polite and efficient. There are many shopping and dining options within walking distance, including a 24 hour convenience store right next door. Bottom line: you book here because you're looking for a cheap room, and that's what you'll get. I found it adequate in every important way, but it's not pretty.

No ‘lamps’ just 2 overhead lights. The heater blows the curtain open so that the room is on public view. The sink faucet sprays above the sink and soaks the top of the vanity. I just killed a cockroach - picture available upon request. Not sure I’ll stay the night……

I made a reservation for three nights I ended up staying for about 30 minutes before getting another hotel across the street. Is that 30 minutes I was a cop it in the parking lot twice by Phil is pushing shopping carts full of garbage asking for money and when I got to my room I went up there five minutes before a prostitute knocked on the door and proposition me. The television has three channels… Three! They were CNN, the WNBA channel and finally a channel dedicated to self-help testimonials. I went across the street back to the Charleston in the next morning to ask for a refund which was promised on hotels.com where I made the reservation and was told they don’t give any refunds. I explain to them what happened the day before that I was uncomfortable staying there because one of the two locks on the door didn’t even work. The hotel clerk said call a cop if you don’t like it. That would give us -5 stars .

My room was near a bunch of residents who hung out right by my door and were loud past 10 pm every night. The door was coming apart at the bottom letting light and sound in. The walls had repairs spots and only two outlets , one set switched with an overhead light so I could not use it if I wanted to sleep.

I went across the street back to the Charleston in the next morning to ask for a refund which was promised on hotels.com where I made the reservation and was told they don’t give any refunds. I explain to them what happened the day before that I was uncomfortable staying there because one of the two locks on the door didn’t even work. The hotel clerk said call a cop if you don’t like it. That would give us -5 stars .

It was in a decent area. Seemed shady when we checked in. It served its purpose for a bed and shower. Ok for me as a single guy but would be uncomfortable having a single woman stay by herself.

Upon check in the attendant was nice however on his cell phone video chatting with a woman. He gave me the card said oh yea your room is 208. Upon entering the room I noticed multiple cigarette burns on the comforter as well as a large oily looking stain. There were no free plugs in the actual room itself to charge our phones so we had to sacrifice the refrigerator plug. Bathroom was clean but clearly rusted and painted over. Upon pulling back the blankets I’d found that the bed was covered with 2 flat sheets (no fitted sheet) the box frame on the bed now visible had multiple stains on it. Overall not a very pleasant feeling. Given the hour we’d gotten in and having driven 16 hours we’d sacrificed trying to find another place but wouldn’t recommend going there to anyone!!

This is an old building with outdoor entrances to the rooms. Inside and out, everything you see is worn out and shabby. The repairs that have been done over the years were done poorly. There were cigarette burns in the bathroom and in the bedspread. There was no cigarette smell, only a faint disinfectant smell.The bed was advertised as a queen, but it was actually a full. This was not a problem for me since I was traveling solo, but it could be an issue for couples or families. The pillows were small, but they were nice and firm, just the way I like them. There was a microwave and mini fridge: I didn't use them, but they seemed to be in working order. The air conditioner worked well, and was whisper quiet. The desk clerk was polite and efficient. There are many shopping and dining options within walking distance, including a 24 hour convenience store right next door. Bottom line: you book here because you're looking for a cheap room, and that's what you'll get. I found it adequate in every important way, but it's not pretty.

I made a reservation for three nights I ended up staying for about 30 minutes before getting another hotel across the street. Is that 30 minutes I was a cop it in the parking lot twice by Phil is pushing shopping carts full of garbage asking for money and when I got to my room I went up there five minutes before a prostitute knocked on the door and proposition me. The television has three channels… Three! They were CNN, the WNBA channel and finally a channel dedicated to self-help testimonials. My room was near a bunch of residents who hung out right by my door and were loud past 10 pm every night. The door was coming apart at the bottom letting light and sound in. The walls had repairs spots and only two outlets , one set switched with an overhead light so I could not use it if I wanted to sleep.

Efficient and clean room. No hair dryer, bed a bit creaky, and one bedbug. But good bathroom, pleasant main room. Nothing special, and that's ok. This place has a low price for a reason, and it is worth it. Also, plenty of places to walk to.

Absolutely terrible. Stayed for 20minutes and had to leave. The room did not look like the picture provided upon booking, there was a terrible smell upon entry as well as in check in. Once in the room the bed had stains on the sheets and mattress, the walls were all chipped and banged up, the bathroom had old rust spots and the carpet was all ripped up. When turned the heat on smelled like something had died in it. The noise level, you could hear all conversations in adjacent rooms, doors slamming and the traffic was terrible. Packed our things and left, never again! Travellers beware…NOT HOW ROOM IS ADVERTISED.

This is an old building. It has been refurbished over the years, but much of the work was poorly done. The parking lot needs to be repaved. There was a microwave and mini fridge: both were unplugged. The room lights were harsh, bright white LEDs. The buttons on the a/c unit were broken, but I managed to make it work. The desk clerk, behind bulletproof glass, was efficient, but not friendly. That said, the location is ideal: close to the highway with many shopping and dining options close by. My room was sparkling clean. It was quiet. The free WiFi worked well. The platform type bed was comfortable enough. Overall, I was satisfied, especially considering how inexpensive it is was. I would stay here again .
