My only negative for this stay was that during the last week, their elevator kept breaking down and had to take the stairs from the 3rd floor. Other than that one minor thing, i absolutely loved this place and will definitely book again in the future.

Expedia pictures are incorrect as there ia no breakfast anymore (but i expected thia after checking the hotel website). Garbage cans in public areas were full, water dispenser was empty, noisiest elevator so try to get a room away from the elevator, and no staff at the desk (other than at chexk in). While the room was clean, I'm not sure how thorough the cleaning as the wall was splattered. Adequate for the cost.

It was by far the smallest hotel room I have ever been in. It did not look this small in the pictures by any means. The elevator made an atrocious noise every time. Every night the inside main door was left to jar so anybody could just walk in even if you were not a guest. I just think the price was too high for the size of the room but if you don't care about that then it's okay to stay in. It was a one bed queen room that just my husband and I stayed in but I still felt claustrophobic.

The room was dirty. Some crud came up from the drain the first time we ran the shower. There were dirt marks on the bathroom floor. There were crumbs under the bed and my dogs found them. The air conditioning was wonky. It wouldn't continue re-cooling the room. We'd have to keep lowering it to restart. On a good note, the staff was friendly, they were great about getting more towels. Front desk was friendly. The dog fee was very reasonable. It was convenient location to Sampson State Park where were showing our dogs and there aren't many hotels near the middle of Seneca Lake on the east side. So my overall rating is mediocre. I would stay there again - but I"d check the cleanliness of the room before I officially checked in.

This was my first encounter with a hotel with zero human contact that forced you to stand in an 8x8-foot foyer and check in with someone working remotely who did not know enough about the property to tell you where you should park or the best way to get to your room. Everyone checking in was forced to wait in that tiny entry area while the huge lobby inside was empty because no one worked there. When I got to my room, it REEKED of mildew. I tried to call the lobby, but the phone was disconnected. I went down to the lobby and, of course, NO ONE was there because no one actually works there. I went back up and tried turning the AC on high, left for a while and came back, but it didn’t help. My eyes hurt and my chest burned. I went down and out into the little foyer with the kiosk and talked with a different remote worker who did not know what mildew was. She tried to tell me that all the rooms probably used the same air freshener! I explained to her that it was not air freshener but mildew. She said she would contact the property manager. As far as I know, she didn’t reach him or her, but she went ahead and put me in another room. The other room was an upgrade, and more importantly, it was clean and did not reek of mildew. Ironically, there was a little sign in the bathroom that said, “If you’ve forgotten an essential toiletry item, please call the front desk for a replacement.” Alas, no one is there to take your call because the humans have been replaced.

This room was very shabby and dirty. Thank god the sheets were clean but everything else was grubby. Dirty dusty lamp, hair on the bathroom floor, something (soda) dripping down the wall. The TV was missing the HDMI cord and didn’t work but I told the front desk and they did fix it. The satellite box is screwed to the wall next to the TV. Not a place I will ever stay again.

The Inn is looking very tired and old. Our room was on the first floor, looking directly at the parking lot, and there were no privacy shades, only the blackout shades. I like to be able to have some light in the room during the day but then there would be no privacy. There is no continental breakfast, there is only a water machine and one coffee urn in the lobby. The room/bathroom decor is very tired and the room was quite musty smelling.

This was unfortunately one of the worst hotels I've stayed at. There was no one at the front desk. Check-in was done by a kiosk, which looks like an ATM in the vestibule, not clearly marked. No sign at the front desk to check-in at the kiosk. For a non-smoking facility, the entire 2nd floor was heavy with cigarette smoke. The room and bathroom were dirty. The surfaces in the room were not clean with visible dirt and grim. The microwave had food on the door and inside, not cleaned. There was mold in the bathtub, leaky tub faucet, and corosion on shower head. Showerhead hose broke during my shower. There was hair, dust, and dirt between the mattress pad and sheets on the bed and the bed ruffles had visible spots of unknown substances on them. I would not recommend this hotel.

Wet carpet, moldy smell, positive ID on bedbugs (Cimex lectularius). More than one shady character smoking something noxious near entrance door. Unattended! Person checking you in via Zoom is in the Phillipines. No answer when trying to call the desk after hours. Couldn’t get a refund : manager not present, answering calls or email.

No front desk at all. You feel like you're in prison, waiting with 3-4 families to use a single kiosk. At least put in a few more if you're trying to save the $20/hr in hiring a nice local person, put multiple kiosks as it takes min 15min per room IF you have a reservation. If not, it takes up to 30m as the scanner on it is constantly falling and guests then need to type everything in on a failing touchscreen. It took us 45min to get checked in with only 1 person in front of use (no reservation) and by the time we were done, there were 4 more groups behind us piling up in the cramped front door area and it felt like prison. Besides that, the A/C seems to be hacked so it keeps turning off so we had to wake up and keep turning it off and on the first nite. The maintenance guy even said 'this is modified on purpose'. That's just shady and it was the entire of the theme of this place: Purposely cutting corners to save $5-10 each room. It's really sad as the rooms and building are nice enough to be a 3star tbh, if they just treated it that way. The workers seem ok but there's no sense of hospitality at all as they are more annoyed when you ask them for anything like missing towels in room (only 1). I don't believe this to be the workers fault but the tone set by management. Wifi is unusable so both my kids had to tether from my room. Parking is impossible after 10p. Location, rooms (and beds) and building are great. Everything else horrible but fixable if they actually cared.

The room was really nice and clean, there was an issue with the shower not fully draining. And the air would NOT stay on. It was very hot in the room overnight which made it incredibly difficult to sleep. I woke up several times to turn the air back on.

I did not like that nobody is on premises to check-in and check-out. Property was updated cheaply over damage. It was clean and smelled good, beds are comfortable and quiet on the 3rd floor!

It’s right on a wide, busy road. If possible, ask for a room on the quieter side of the building. I was not given that option when I purchased the room. On the plus side, it’s inexpensive and near restaurants. The check-in person was helpful and friendly.

This hotel is unstaffed. There is a kiosk for check-in that connects you via zoom with poor internet connection. Agent handling check-in kept breaking up and was difficult to understand due to accent combined with poor internet connection causing audio to break up, cut in and out, etc. Hallway had a foul odor, could not quite place it. Checking in was disgusting! They have a kiosk with a person you deal with on the screen. Customer Service? Absolutely NONE!!! I asked the kiosk if I had a problem in the middle of the night there was no one to answer the phone at the front desk because there is no one at the front desk between 4pm and 8am (they were never there at 7) what do I do? She said come see me at the kiosk. Are you kidding me??? I was so dissapointed as I stay here quite a bit.

We had a nice stay here. The receptionist was very friendly and pleasant. The bed was amazingly comfortable and I'm really picky about beds because of chronic pain. I slept GREAT. There wasn’t breakfast as advertised but there was coffee in the lobby in the morning. It was too much for what it was but it’s very obvious that the building is being taken care of and that the folks running it are working hard to make a nice stay for their guests. Would stay again.

Two of three days-no maid service. (Day 1 was claimed by them to be our fault, day 2 was unexplained.) No hot water final night and morning-no notice or offer to move us to room with hot water. Radiator/heater dial broken. (Air blew either cool or very hot.) Front desk button on room phone goes to “invalid number.” After-hours communication with staff limited to video kiosk in front entryway. Complaints/concerns to staff were mostly explained away as the guest failing to understanding how they run things. There was never an apology for the inconvenience or an indication of understanding. We stayed here 5 months ago and it wasn’t great, but it was better. With exception of kind woman at check-in, it was a bad stay. We will not stay here again.

For years we loved this facility. But now that one has to self-check in after 3 pm via AI type robot in the entryway, we were told the virtual screen was unmanned and we should go to the front desk. Of course we could not do that since the facility was locked, the desk unmanned anyway, and we were left sitting in the entry wondering what to do in order to take advantage of our reservation! By chance, someone walked past the front door on the inside and went to get us someone on-site to let us in. We find that whole situation of no desk staff after 3 pm entirely unacceptable— and with the aging/deterioration of the facilities (the fridge in our room was entirely out of order, the wifi only working in two-minute bursts which we were told is now the daily norm, etc), we probably will not try to stay here again.

It’s right on a wide, busy road. If possible, ask for a room on the quieter side of the building. I was not given that option when I purchased the room. On the plus side, it’s inexpensive and near restaurants. The check-in person was helpful and friendly.

This was a comfortable, clean hotel, a bit shabby but perfectly adequate. I’d stay there again. I did not like that people smoked right outside the front door, so when it was raining you had to walk through the smoke.

It was a good stay. Staff were very helpful. The Inn is pretty dated and rooms are a little small. Bathrooms need updates and remodeling. Everything was clean and the staff was great. Disappointed that they did not have complimentary breakfast

We had no tv. Had a direct tv remote but no service. Grounds around the property were not maintained. No morning breakfast. For the cost of the stay(over $200 per night) we thought we should have better amenities.

Expedia pictures are incorrect as there ia no breakfast anymore (but i expected thia after checking the hotel website). Garbage cans in public areas were full, water dispenser was empty, noisiest elevator so try to get a room away from the elevator, and no staff at the desk (other than at chexk in). While the room was clean, I'm not sure how thorough the cleaning as the wall was splattered. Adequate for the cost.

It was not a positive stay; the staff was rude and unhelpful. One crazy point was the stairwell on our side of the building was out of order~ how absolutely terrifying.

The positive thing first: the room was very clean. However, the entire hotel needs a redo. There was peeling wallpaper in the hall that was just stapled together. In our room, the overhead light covering in the bathroom was full of dead bugs, there was baseboard tile coming away from the wall, there were no tissues in the room, and the washcloths and towels were the thinnest we have ever experienced. On the outside, the parking lot is not in good shape.
