I attend a claaa in the meeting room once a year which i usually drive to.. this year because the hotel has a pool my girlfriend and i decided to stay the night and make use of the pool.. when arriving there was a sign on the front desk stating pool closed.. i would have left then and looked for alternative arrangements but i booked a non refundable room ao i was stuck. There was never even an offer from hotel staff to cancel because of the pool closure. Not only did we take 2 days off work instead of 1 which we both lost money in doing we arrived early around 4 to make full use of the pool.. so it pretty much wasted our whole afternoon and we had to look for alternative activities. The hotel text me and asked how my stay was going and i texted back about the pool situation and got this response I understand your concern. We do appreciate your patience as the pool is fixed. Please enjoy our fitness if you'd like, and there is a list of restaurants at the front desk if you'd like that information. The ymca also offers memberships that include the pool. I hope that helps a little. Have a good day. -Elizabeth I feel telling me i needed to go to the ymca and get a membership that includes a pool was very out of line from Elizabeth. I feel they should have offered me to cancel the reservation or maybe even a discount since they only reason we even made a reservation was because of the pool. I still feel like im owed something for the pool not being in service.

My stay was very quiet. Room was great and lots of hot water.
