It was clean but the air-conditioning unit was not working. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The surrounding area is not very attractive. But it's only a short drive to good food and city event spaces as well as the University of Dayton.

The amenities did not work well. I was locked out of my room twice because of the door mechanism was dying. The staff was unhelpful. TV did not work and they were not planning on fixing it. The air did not work and they had no plans on fixing it.

The room was sufficient enough. However, I had looked at the website at the room picture and saw a microwave & fridge BUT there was NOT one in our room which was disappointing since there was no breakfast offered.

The TV did not work. The staff said they knew this ahead of time and discounted the room. But I was not informed that the TV didn’t work when I reserved the room. The staff said they couldn’t fix the tv and wouldn’t switch the room. They said they are not responsible for compensation. They said to contact Expedia for a refund

There was no hot water just lukewarm. No television the rooms were clean and presentable. The first room they assigned me. The AC did not work but the TV did. They reassigned me a new room that the AC worked and the TV did not work. No phones. Well, to be fair headphones but no dialtone. It served my purpose for the weekend. And the staff was courteous.

not the best neighborhood. two men were not afraid - in the back rooms; others might be intimidated! room did NOT have towels. roiom was NOT made-up for two days in a row! room WAS nicely remodeled. however no TV or phone. TV not an issue with us ; might be a problem for others. no phone could be a safety concern.? even tho MOST folk have cell, not everyone!! yes, would consider staying there again. if price is right!

This hotel is absolutely horrendous!! The minute I pulled up to the door, I noticed the poorly maintain property with all the sketchy people outside. Inside my room the faucet was shaking loose ,toilet was leaking on the floor and floors were extremely dirty. I pulled a pubic hair out from the hotel towels and then decided not to shower . The floor air conditioner was making a misty raw septic smell . The TV did not work properly and the curtains were broken. All night people were smoking cigarettes outside of my door and slamming doors . The next morning i spoke to management 2 Indian gentlemen of my displeasure with the hotel . This was the worst of the worst !!

This hotel is gross! The floor of my room was sticky. I tried to clean it and came up with a black cloth. There was dirt and hair in the bathtub. The bed wasn't fully prepped, the a/c unit was dismantled, and didn't work. There were no tissues in the room and no trashcan. I didn't stay. I waited in the lobby for 30 min to speak to a desk clerk who never showed. I finally just left.

From 7:30 pm-1:30 am people above me were making constant noise, cleaning for this place was awful ( wiped water off the floor and the towel turned black ) shower wasn’t great, bathroom was smaller than I thought, also there was no trash can in the bathroom? Also, the bed was the most uncomfortable thing to every exist on this planet, I slept so bad, never again will I stay at this hotel.

PArking was fairly easy, no issues there. Area is a little sketchy. AC worked. Half of the lamps in the room did not have any lightbulbs, the mini fridge was set to freezing when I arrived, and the TV was basically unusable for the entire week long stay. Still, overall room was decent, and staff were available to help when I needed it.

Would not recommend unless money is #1 priority. Non-smoking room smelled of smoke. Everything was budget and not well maintained. Check-in hard because computer system was down. Neighborhood is industrial. $50 deposit required at checkin.

The location is convenient to Kettering, but the rooms are bare-bones furnished. During the time I stayed the room entry system constantly malfunctioned, so that each day was an adventure in whether or not I would get into my room. The maintenance staff was completely incompetent.

Did not like a room on the 2nd floor with the first floor empty. Very surprised at the request for an additional $100 deposit, probably because we had a dog, but it was refunded.

We checked in at midnight to a guy at the front desk who literally took 20 minutes just to find our reservation. We got to our room to discover there was absolutely no toilet paper. The guy at the front desk did bring it to us quickly but not the point. Then while trying to unwind from the long day we discover the tv didn’t work. Then showering the next day, there are no washcloths. What the hell else can go wrong? It’s not like we tried to check in right at 3pm and they weren’t ready for us. I called the hotel and told them we would be checking in very late. They had plenty of time to make sure the room was ready.

Ashley, the manager, Armani and Jamie were so warm, welcoming, helpful and courteous. I had an issue with trying to change my reservation for one of the rooms and Ashley took care of it. The only negative was that there was no cable TV. The hotel is lucky to have such great employees!

I didn't know about the $50 deposit until I checked in. No telephone or trash can in the room. When I asked for a receipt at check out, there printer wasn't working. So, they were going to email it to me that afternoon. It's been two days with no email. However, the room was really nice and very clean! The new owners need to get more equipment.

Upon arriving we were greeted by an unfriendly clerk who proceeded to tell us that we were too early, rooms would not be available until after 3:00 and if we checked in before that we would have to pay an early check in fee. We said we would wait. She then said that their cable tv’s did not work, had not worked for two weeks and they didn’t know when they would work. I stayed that should have been disclosed if it had been going on so long. She said it was disclosed on the site. It was not. Room was gross. Crummy pillows, thin towels and shabby old furniture. Shower had no pressure. We also didn’t like all the shady characters just “hanging out” in front and around the hotel. I think people live there full time. We ended up not staying there after we saw the condition of the room. To be honest, we didn’t feel safe there. I’m surprised Hotels.com even allows it to be advertised on their site. It’s a flop house.

Their system is down when we were there, and they gave us a choice to cancel our reservation and won’t get charge but we still got charge for it. And we kept calling and they guaranteed refund but still nothing. Not gonna recommend.

We booked the property about an hour before we arrived. When we saw the property (around 7:00 pm) there wasn't a single car in the lot. Much more concerning was a group of about 8 men loitering in the parking lot. My husband and I were in separate cars and we drove past, unwilling to even pull in the parking lot. No way would we have stayed there...very unsafe. Unfortunately, I notified them immediately that we wanted to cancel our reservation, but they would not. Not happy, but wasn't going to risk our safety.

It was clean but the air-conditioning unit was not working. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The surrounding area is not very attractive. But it's only a short drive to good food and city event spaces as well as the University of Dayton.

Would not recommend unless money is #1 priority. Non-smoking room smelled of smoke. Everything was budget and not well maintained. Check-in hard because computer system was down. Neighborhood is industrial. $50 deposit required at checkin.

Avoid the location like the plague. Even the staff is sketchy, and people were milling around the parking lot. I could not sleep, felt unsafe, and it was noisy. I will never book with Red Roof Inn in the future.

Quick easy check-in. Quiet location clean room. I was u able to determine if there were any amenities near by as we cam in tierd and in the dark. But overall nice for a stay for the night.

If you are a UD parent do not stay here! It was disgusting! The room was gross, the towels looked dirty and the bathroom was filthy. There was a disgusting odor in our room from the industrial park located behind the motel. Uber drivers didn't want to pick us up or drop us off at this location. Our driver told us that this location is not a safe area.

The room was sufficient enough. However, I had looked at the website at the room picture and saw a microwave & fridge BUT there was NOT one in our room which was disappointing since there was no breakfast offered.

Toilet wabbled really bad and then the tv remote didn't work. Called the front desk and he wouldn't answer. Went to the front office and he was just sitting there on his laptop away from the desk and then he replaced the batteries and said all good.

check in staff was great however room was missing light bulbs, a cord for the the phone so you couldnt make phone calls, no towels. Called and they never provided light bulbs or a phone cord. room key kept deactivating everyday.
