Tudor Lodge Hotel

Has it's not busy the hotel is closed my room was in the court yard . There was a note on the main door telling what number my room was. Unfortunately another couple was staying and they had taken my room . The number i had was for the reception which was closed . Luckily someone who liked in the cottage the end knew the owner and was able to contact . I ended up staying in the other couples room. In the end. I was meant to be sent a email explaining the info but this was not sent.. The good thing was the breakfast very good.

Really convenient and the owner was fantastic. but he was retiring that week for new ownership so I can't vouch for the new people.

Very kind friendly host, clean room, all amenities there that could be needed, lovely fresh towels, comfy beds- couldn’t ask for a better stay at this price point! Would definitely come back if in the area again and recommend to everyone :) Oh and a delicious breakfast!

Lady in charge very friendly and helpful. Room had some damp patches by the toilet with black mould. Apparently they've had some plumbing issues recently. Breakfast was lovely.
