Communication with Stewart was excellent, easy check in process, being able to check in early was a bonus.Location was excellent, 5 min walk to the beach and not far from the Ocean Grove Shopping Centre.We had our Son and family for lunch and having a well equipped kitchen was extremely helpful

We had a great weekend getaway here. Perfect location, just minutes to the beach, short walk to the shops. Very relaxing, well stocked utensils, pantry and kitchen. Very cosy and comfortable vibes. Highly recommend

A 5 min walk to the beach and a quiet restful spot for our get away. Well set up kitchen if you’re staying a bit longer too. This is our second visit and plan to come back again.

Clean, compact and partially private. They thought of everything you could want or need. This stay was the first of many where I did not have to pop out for anything I’d forgotten because Stewart and Faye thought of everything! The location was close to shops, restaurants and most importantly, the beaches. And after a long day out, it was divine to soak in that amazing deep bath. Well done Stewart and Faye! Highly recommend it!

Surf Cottage is a true gem. In my opinion, the pictures provided undersell its loveliness. It truly is a short, easy walk to the beach (and the wonderful Dunes cafe!) and the main street is also within walking distance. The cottage contains all the facilities you'll need during your visit (yes, even a washing machine). The hosts were easy to contact and always answered promptly. I didn't meet them in person, but all communications were cordial and helpful. I've recommended this accommodation to my friend and family, and I expect we'll visit again, too!

The owners have thought of absolutely everything to make it feel like you're at home - games, DVDs, books, ample crockery and cutlery, comfy beds, a huge bath, even extras like cookbooks and kids wetsuits! Our only issue was we were only visiting to attend a nearby music festival and so didn't have time to fully enjoy everything the cottage and the nearby area had to offer. We'll be back!

3 ladies in our 70s loved the close location to the beach although a bit windy for a swim we paddled and walked a lot. The accomodation was great with good storage in the 2nd bedroom as well which often is not the case when we go to some places. Thanks again

So close you can hear the ocean. A cosy comfortable log cabin in a treed and well tended native garden. Well priced and excellent location 10 mins walk from shops and 2 mins walk from beach. The cabin is in a village of other log cabins but with plenty of privacy being well spaced out and with mature gardens. Good communication with owners.

We had a very relaxing fortnight at Surf Cottage and can highly recommend it. The cottage is well-appointed and in a great location, minutes to the beach, shops, walking trails and other popular eateries in both Ocean Grove and Barwon Heads. Stewart and Faye are great hosts too.

My sister and I had a fantastic stay. Your cabin is filled with lots of beautiful things. Communication with hosts very prompt, not that we needed anything as the cabin is fitted out with everything required. We love to walk the beach and beyond every day and found the location of Surf Cottage spot on. Listening to the ocean every night is so relaxing, soothing & a real comfort for us. Thank you Stewart & Faye we LOVE your place will definitely be returning asap! Cheers to you both, E & P X

So close you can hear the ocean. A cosy comfortable log cabin in a treed and well tended native garden. Well priced and excellent location 10 mins walk from shops and 2 mins walk from beach. The cabin is in a village of other log cabins but with plenty of privacy being well spaced out and with mature gardens. Good communication with owners.

We spent 3 days and 2 nights at Surf Cottage – Luxury Beach Getaway and had a wonderful stay overall.The location is perfect — only a 5-minute walk to the main beach. We spent most of our time enjoying the beach and really loved coming back to a cottage that truly feels like a home away from home.A big plus was having two boogie boards and wetsuits available (girls size 16 and adult XL), which made our beach time even better. The cottage is very well equipped — if you forget to bring something, chances are it’s already there. The kitchen, in particular, feels just like home. (Though bringing your own coffee machine is recommended if you’re a coffee lover.)The only downside was the BBQ. This was our second stay (the first was about a year ago), and unfortunately both times we weren’t able to use it. The BBQ was quite dirty, likely left that way by previous guests, and the gas tank was empty. When you’re on holiday, the last thing you want is to spend time cleaning a messy BBQ.Aside from that, everything else was fantastic. It’s a great place for a relaxed beach getaway, and we truly enjoyed our time there.

Communication with Stewart was excellent, easy check in process, being able to check in early was a bonus.Location was excellent, 5 min walk to the beach and not far from the Ocean Grove Shopping Centre.We had our Son and family for lunch and having a well equipped kitchen was extremely helpful
