The shower head in room 317 was loose. Water was spraying against the wall. Couldn't adjust the settings(pulsating, etc). I stepped out of the shower to water all over the floor! I used several towels to absorb it. Did inform the Front Desk at checkout. It needs to be replaced. Door handles need to be wiped down. Dirty. I didn't have to eat breakfast.

Staff was super friendly and for the price it was a great deal. Only about .5 mile from the Katy trail and the City Stop Bike shop where you can catch a shuttle to Clinton. It looked like they were doing some renovations as the pool was closed and full of boxes. The quality of the work in my room was not great, but they things that mattered were great, good AC and comfortable bed. The breakfast was limited but good. I would definitely stay there again, and for us bike packers who are simple folks, it was perfectly fine.

The hotel was supposed to have an indoor pool. And not only wasn’t it opened, but there was storage and boxes where the pool is supposed to be. On the app it said this was pet friendly. Nowhere on the app did it say there was an extra charge for my dog. $40 apiece plus $100 deposit- none of that was there. Our key cards didn’t work on the outer doors and when I asked the person at the desk, they said oh yeah, they don’t work. This was a major pain since you had to go in and out the front door of the hotel to take dogs out. The free breakfast had waffles which the batter was so watered down. It wouldn’t make a full waffle. They also had biscuits and gravy, which had no sausage in the gravy and was so salty you could not ingest it. There was multiple holes on walls that had been patched but not finished or painted. I would not stay at this place unless you absolutely have to.

They are rehabbing the place. It will never be any cleaner than it is today. There's that. The place next door isn't open.(maybe rehabbing it/new owners/ who knows) This is as good as it gets in this area. I gave it 4 stars for because, for a 2.5 star hotel, it did pretty good value for their products/services received. There is no fee for parking. Breakfast is a carb feast. No protein served. Coffee, was extremely weak! Wasn't a fridge in our room. Other than that, had a good time!

I think there trying to get some remodeling done, but we were in a room that need some of that remodeling and no coffee maker . The breakfast wasn't too good the grave was runny, no cream cheese for the bagel ,no hot water for hot tea,
