Hotel ist auf exzellente, höhere Lage, ca. 1km von Monterosso, mit wunderschönem Blick auf das Meer und alle 5 Dörfer von Cinque Terre (unbedingt Zimmer mit dem Meeresblick buchen). Sehr gepflegt, reichhaltige Frühstück und Schuttlebus der in Stundentakt verkehrt, bei Bedarf auch öfter. Deutschsprechendes Personal an der Reception. Gratis Parkplätze vor dem Hotel. Wirklich zu empfehlen.

Wonderful hotel in the hills above Monterosso! Excellent staff and service. Gorgeous views! It is necessary to take a shuttle into town because of the distance and steepness. The shuttle runs every hour and is often full. I would recommend a more frequent shuttle service.

The property was great up on the hill with a fantastic view down the coast to the other villages. Room was spacious and clean and staff were always helpful. Nice breakfast as well to start the day. Shuttle service was reliable and appreciated because the walk is a tough one up hill. Great location, would definately stay again.

The hotel is very nice and the views from our balcony were unbelievable!! The hotel breakfast was delicious and the hotel shuttle was very efficient and helpful! The only complaint I have is that the bed was very hard. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Set on high hill, the views are wonderful. A shuttle bus runs day and evening to take you to the centre. It has a very good breakfast but does not do evening meals. Staff were friendly, room large but basic.

Hotel could not be bettered for views of the CinqueTerre coastline, but the shuttle service to Monterosso , although efficient, was hourly and QUEING it seems is not recognised in Italy! ( Apart from the Brits! )

The room has everything you need. Very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a shuttle every hour from 7:30 am until 11:30 pm to take you to the village and back to the hotel. It’s at the level os a business travel hotel. The view from the hotels is fantastic.. there’s lots of trees and green areas near the hotel. I think no other hotel has that view. Most are near the pier. I would definitely go back and highly recommend it.

The hotel and service are very nice. You just need to be prepared for the shuttle service which runs on the hour to the hotel from city center. It is too steep and long for most people to walk. It can be annoying to wait for shuttle.

I can't rave enough about our stay for 6 nights. Our sea view room overlooked the entire Cinque Terra coast. Although out of town, the walk down was only 10-15 mins, and there is a very reliable shuttle service to and from town every hour. The rooms were spotless, the views incredible and breakfast plentiful and very fresh. A small bar menu is available for in house dining. Purchasing the CT card was only 3 euro if done at the hotel. Beach towels are provided. Plentiful parking on-site if you have a car. If there was only 1 improvement it would be a kettle in the room.

Kjempekoselig hotel med fantastisk beliggenhet og utsyn til alle Cinque Terre. Rent, pent og ryddig alle steder. Serviceminded og hyggelig personell - vi fikk mat fra kjøkkenet selv om vi sjekket inn etter kl 22 på ankomstkvelden. Smal og svingete vei fra landsbyen og opp til hotellet men shuttelbusson gikk gikk som et pålitelig sveitserur hele dagen. En overraskende og veldig hyggelig totalopplevelse.

This hotel was amazing. It sits on a hill top over looking Monterosso and the sea. Everything was perfect. Breakfast was amazing and the whole hotel was sparkling clean. We will definitely be back. I know some of the reviews mentioned the shuttle times were not reliable. We did not find that to be the case. The shuttle was precisely on time. A couple of suggestions: the drive up to the hotel is not as clearly marked but Google GPS will take you to the front door. The drive up is on a one lane road, so be careful. Also, try to time your shuttle rides to train rides if you are going to different villages so that you are not wasting a lot of valuable time.

This hotel is a true gem. Set in a mountain with glorious views of the coastline and other "terre's," it creates the quintessential Italian seaside experience. The shuttle to the town/beach ran frequently, on time, and with trips late into the evening. Great breakfast, lovely staff. Our room had a terrace as big as the room with a stunning view! A truly special spot.

Lovely hotel perched up high on a hill overlooking Monterosso- in fact, one can see all 5 towns of Cinque Terre from the hotel grounds. Clean, comfortable, good-sized room; if available, book a room with a balcony for a fantastic view. Shuttle van to & from hotel into Monterosso was very much appreciated as walking up or down the hill would be difficult. Breakfast was excellent with many choices to suit all tastes (8-10 am). Staff were efficient but not overly friendly, which was fine. Nice areas outside to sit or lounge any time of the day.

Overall, nice stay. Room was comfortable with a balcony and beautiful view of the sea. Pros: great breakfast, comfy bed, beautiful view. Cons: such a long steep hike up and down (kept missing shuttle) and we are in good physical condition, no coffee/tea service in room (breakfast starts at 8), strange shower configuration inside bathtub (great water pressure though), towel racks and hooks were made for very tall people, hair dryer fried my hair.

The staff was very nice its a nice quiet getaway hotel… the shuttle service was prompt and reliable the breakfast was absolutely delicious and there was lots!! Air conditioning was a bit weak and controlled by the front desk -we were there in a heat wave so a bit frustrating … otherwise we had a great stay thank you

An excellent property with gorgeous views. The staff was professional and friendly. Having the frequent taxis available to go into town was a huge plus—a short trip but a hair-raising road the drivers handled with ease. We really enjoyed our stay.
An excellent property with gorgeous views. The staff was professional and friendly. Having the frequent taxis available to go into town was a huge plus—a short trip but a hair-raising road the drivers handled with ease. We really enjoyed our stay.

Service was lovely. Everyone, and I mean everyone, was lovely. Always helpful, always respectful, always assist. The view from our balcony was exquisite. The only fault, and it is a big one, was the shuttle bus to the village below ran, at times, hourly. Also, the hotel needs a number system given out at reception for the shuttle. Unfortunately some people are rude and do not wait their turn for the shuttle. The hotel needs to attend to this and it would be the perfect stay. The breakfast was amazing; there were so many choices and the staff serving were a delight. Many thanks.

The most beautiful hotel in an oasis of calm. Around a km from the centre of Monterosso which we were so pleased about as in July/August Monterosso is rammed with tourists. It was lovely to hop on the complimentary shuttle bus and be transported to the hotel where we could relax and recharge before going again. The staff were so helpful and unobtrusive, the breakfast very good and we had the most beautiful room with a breathtaking view. What’s not to like! Highly recommended!

Though it is a bit distant from town, beautiful view and they have a complimentary shuttle service to and from town. Rather than wait for shuttle we usually walked down but waited for shuttle back up

This hotel was amazing. It sits on a hill top over looking Monterosso and the sea. Everything was perfect. Breakfast was amazing and the whole hotel was sparkling clean. We will definitely be back. I know some of the reviews mentioned the shuttle times were not reliable. We did not find that to be the case. The shuttle was precisely on time. A couple of suggestions: the drive up to the hotel is not as clearly marked but Google GPS will take you to the front door. The drive up is on a one lane road, so be careful. Also, try to time your shuttle rides to train rides if you are going to different villages so that you are not wasting a lot of valuable time.

Lovely hotel on a hilltop over Monterosso. From our balcony we could see all Cinque Terre cities. It works fine to walk down to the Monterosso, approx. 10 minutes down. Buss opp and down goes every hour so need to plan.

Set on high hill, the views are wonderful. A shuttle bus runs day and evening to take you to the centre. It has a very good breakfast but does not do evening meals. Staff were friendly, room large but basic.

I can't rave enough about our stay for 6 nights. Our sea view room overlooked the entire Cinque Terra coast. Although out of town, the walk down was only 10-15 mins, and there is a very reliable shuttle service to and from town every hour. The rooms were spotless, the views incredible and breakfast plentiful and very fresh. A small bar menu is available for in house dining. Purchasing the CT card was only 3 euro if done at the hotel. Beach towels are provided. Plentiful parking on-site if you have a car. If there was only 1 improvement it would be a kettle in the room.

Clean room and building, staff very friendly and helpful. Wi-fi was good and the breakfast was excellent with a good variety. It was a little difficult to find especially we arrived at night and the winding road to the top of the mountain was a little stressful. Overall we would highly recommend it.

If you plan on staying at the hotel, this is perfection. Beautiful views, helpful staff, convenient bar, food and drinks available anytime, breakfast wonderful. However the shuttle only comes once an hour to get into town, and it is snall, so it is often full. No line or organization for waiting for shuttle, and even if twaiting first, people will jump the line and shove into the shuttle. Shuttle needs to be more frequent, bigger, or additional options to get up to the hilltop hotel. Walking down is an option, but up in the heat can be grueling, and with luggage is impossible.

Flott utsikt, fint rom. God frokost. Hyggelig betjening. Eneste å utsette var at man ikke orket å gå fra byen og opp til hotellet, måtte da vente på hotellbilen som kjørte. Den kunne hatt litt flere avganger.
