The specialty restaurants were very nice. Especially the Mexican one. Food and waitress was great. We wanted to go on the trapeze, but they closed it on Thursday and Friday (they said because they didn't have enough staff. It was quite windy in the beginning of the week. Food in buffet was very repetitious and almost always cold. The week we were there the temperatures were low so we did not get to go in the cold pool. The Jacuzzi was cold and needed the jets to be fixed. The beach was beautiful and kept up well. Thought it was rude to charge for bottle of water in the rooms at an all inclusive. Didn't even have little bottle of lotion in the rooms, Toliets were very noisy, running even when not flushed. Alright for a #3 resort.

Bathroom was outdated and needed to run the shower for at least 20min before getting in for the Warm water. I noticed the pool was not cleaned daily, hot tub always had sand on the bottom. Have more dining options as resort had 3 restaurants to choose from but was limited depending upon your package deal. Employees that were working the activities shack were not paying any attention to us when we would ask them questions, they were evidently distracted by the girls on the beach and made sure we knew that.

Had a fabulous stay in this resort with my daughters. The resort itself is beautiful and clean, not high end luxury, but we were not looking for that. Lots of activities included, both kid friendly and adult. Beautiful large pool with lounge seating and unbrellas right on the beach. Convenient to local attractions such as pigs swimming and the Lucaya Marketplace. Great, very friendly staff who were always available and accomodating. Food buffet options were varied and plentiful, several convenient bars with alcohol and coffee drinks. The best part of this hotel is the spectacular beach. Its perfect, with towel service included and a lot of lounge seating available under palm trees. Soft, white sand and the color of the water has to be seen to be believed. I fell in love with this island, can't wait to go back.

The property seemed run down and not too good about letting us know where everything was and times of service, ie shows and buffet. Food was ok. Pool was dirty. Everything at the store was overpriced. Much needed bug spray was $26! The staff was wonderful! Very helpful, social and entertaining! Beautiful beach.

This resort is on the smaller size, which we enjoyed. They have a trapeze which we were excited about, but they were understaffed, so we could not use it, which was a disappointment. The rooms are clean and new towels are delivered daily and the rooms is cleaned daily. Food is good and there is something for everyone. Staff are nice and polite

Beware! Cockroaches in the room. Could hear neighbors in their rooms; no insulation. Scratchy sheets and towels! Tiny old moldy bathroom. For a 7 day stay only 3 dinners at the 3 below average restaurants. Breakfast lunch and dinner at the Junkaroo buffet where food was cold, cheap the same. Liquor that was cheapest and would never purchase yourself. Cabs to any other place was $60 US round trip. Beach was nice but no umbrella/shade. Pool was nice but very loud music. Never going back.

Our stay started with the discovery that our bathroom was never cleaned before we checked into our room. A large clump of black hair came out of the drain when we first turned the shower on. It then took 2 additional attempts to clean the room to average standard. The food at the buffet was not edible. No variety. Could tell that they used previous food and recycled it into other dishes. For example- hot dogs were on the lunch buffet when we arrived on Sunday. Saw those dogs for breakfast and lunch the next day. By the time they took them off the buffet, they were shriveling up and dry from sitting under the heat lamps. It was not just the quality of food that was lacking, there was not enough food. They would make pancakes for the Buffett in the morning that opened at 7:00 am. They were gone by 8:00 and they would not make any more. Not much left on the buffett at 9:00. The resort also needs to figure out how to keep the insects (especially flies and bees)off the food. Would find them stuck to the tongs! The best part of the trip was the beautiful beach. Wyndham has made many improvements to the resort after a hurricane swept through 6 years ago, but rooms need renovation. They have the potential to be a great place, but due to being poorly managed housekeeping and food service the resort has a lot to be desired. If they would spend less time trying to get guests to buy into their VIP and vacation clubs, and more time making their resort better for current guests.

We were very excited to be there for a friend’s wedding. Our first Bahama trip. Our first room was clearly not clean. There was sand on the bed, a used mouse trap in the bathroom that had something removed from it and a dirty countertop, a bug crawling across the bed and ants on the floor. We requested another room that also was less than desirable. Mold on the window curtains and Bed bugs! We went to get something to eat and even the food was not good. After the bride had to arrange for a third room we entered thinking everything would be ok as to the eye it looked clean-much better. But again, bed bugs! With not being able to catch a flight out we slept in the lounge and on beach chairs because we were not able to sleep in the room. Needless to say our accommodations were not good. Room curtains had mold and so did the pillow covers. Did complain and they were going to replace it but nobody showed up to take care of it. We paid extra for a “superior ocean view” room with a king bed, but our room over looked the swimming pool and trapeze area with the ocean view in the background. We had two full size beds. The rooms are in need of an update. When we arrived we had no hot water and it wasn’t fixed until the next day. The balcony door did not shut properly and therefore didn’t lock but we were at least on the second floor. There was entertainment every night, however you could hear the loud music and people screaming in your room…this went on until midnight and one night it didn’t end until 2AM. The buffet is open daily for meals but the other 3 restaurants are by reservation only and only on certain nights. The number of times you can go to the specialty restaurants depends on the length of your stay. The food in the buffet was usually warm at best and some night consisted of “leftovers” from the previous lunch or dinner. There is not much to do off the resort but there are expeditions you can purchase. The staff was friendly. We enjoyed the beach and the two excursions we paid for but not enough to want to return.

Overall, our experience with the hotel was wonderful, but our experience with the Expedia package left much to be desired.

The food and drinks were not the best except for at the restaurants, but all of the staff were so nice and tried to accommodate as much as possible! For the price it was definitely worth it. The rooms were a little out of date and the bathrooms were small, but the beach and everything else made up for it! I would say, they only let you go to the restaurants 2 times if you stay for less than 7 nights, and the snack bar isn't open during the times listed. It is helpful to have the app, but not all of the information is the exact same as the hotel tells you.

We purchased ocean view and was given the garden view. Immediately we notified the front desk staff.they told us that our room was considered once an view which is a total lie. They asked us to come back up in the morning at 11th in is when people check out to put us in another room. The next day we call and was told to call back at 1p. Called at 1p and they couldn’t give us any details. One said they were going to put us in a two queen bed room but it’s not guaranteed. They never called us back to move us so my husband and I finally got tired and decided to go ahead and start unpacking and dealing with the issues once we check out with Expedia. Expedia tried but the hotel refuse to refund us.Expedia couldn’t do anything about it which I found kind of weird since we utilized them all the times. Expedia ended up crediting us $250 even tho to book that room was an extra $700. Also they are suppose to fill the fridge with water (for us two bottles per day) the water stopped coming in day 3 and we were there for 9 days. Everyone we’ve encountered in the buffet and bars are excellent. The front desk staff are rude. Oh yeah good luck trying to reach management. I also have pictures to show our room wasnt ocean view.

Stay: November 2025. Like most places, there were pros and cons. Pros: Beautiful beach and ocean views, fun activities like kayaking, archery, snorkeling. Bar staff made good drinks and were always friendly and approachable. Cons: Property could use a refresh. Unfortunately photos in listing are for members-only rooms and the other rooms were dated and lacked adequate lighting. Food was just average aside from Viva Cafe. Some front lobby staff lack customer service. When setting up restaurant reservations, you have to reserve by room number, and # of people in your room. We had another party arrive a day after and could not add them to the reservation until they arrived and had a room number...not a problem. It was very difficult to add them the next day and guest service person seemed very annoyed she was being asked to do so. Got to the restaurant that night and they were not on the reservation. They eventually agreed to seat us but again seemed annoyed at doing so and their service towards our table was noticeably less than the other tables throughout the evening. Come to find out the other room was reserved for a completely different time than our reservation so there was no attempt by this person at guest services to try to add another room to our reservation.

When we arrived we had to wait for our rooms (understandable because we were early). They had us check in and told us to come back at 3pm. We came back at 2:30pm and they were checking people in and giving out rooms. I waited in line and the had a hard time finding my information. Checking in early made us wait longer. We got to our rooms and the door cards didn’t work. We had to get them fixed several times during our stay. We had two rooms and one room had issues with the toilet and a leak from the vent area. The staff was at times rude and not helpful. On a positive side the food was great. It was all inclusive and the bartenders were always great. The beach area was very nice too. They offer a lot of activities so it was definitely not boring.

Our room was not ready until two hours after check-in time. When it was, there were dried up stains on the nightstand and on the top blanket. The hotel was surprisingly rundown. Ironing board completely rusty. Food: a plenty of it and they slightly changed the options every day, but everything was cold and really low quality. What saved the experience for me, was the cocktail bar. That one was great. And the beach. Staff: someone was helpful and polite, front desk ladies not so much. Overall, it was ok for the price but next time, I would definitely pick a different place to stay.

If you want to be treated like a human being with basic human rights don’t come here. Literally the only nice ppl I encountered were the housekeeper and Kaynan at the reservations desk. The bartenders aren’t very friendly and every time you order something they will literally act like you are bothering them and make some snarky comment to you. I will never come back here just bc the staff is so rude. The room keys stop working at least twice a day and we had to go to the desk to get it fixed and were of course made to feel like a bother. The vendors selling things to me in front of the beach were more help to me than the staff at this place. None of them want to be there and have hateful looks on their faces and you cannot force a smile out of them. They could really use a lesson in hospitality. If you want to feel like you’re being held captive and are in an unsafe place then this is the place for you. If you want to feel like you’re on vacation and can relax…. I’d suggest a different hotel. Even walking at night outside of my room, the security guard screamed at me and asked me where my husband was and told me to get inside….. they have signs all of the property telling you to treat their staff with respect and their staff treats you like garbage. Like you’re less than human. It is truly dehumanizing the way I was treated by hotel staff here…. And a shame bc it came with such a hefty price tag…. I only gave it 2 or 3 stars bc the water was pretty and it was on the beach.

The resort is in desperate need of remodeling or updating. When you arrive you will be met with a salesperson attempting to get you to sit through a sales presentation. If you decline, they will ask over and over. If you still decline, as we did, the sales lady just stared and frowned her face each time she saw us. We normally stay at five star accomodations so I had low expectations coming here and knew that I did not want to buy and of there "timeshare" packages. We reserved a king sized bed and received two double beds. Only 3 bottles of water provided for the entire 6 day stay. You must purchase more water or walk over to the main bar or buffet to fill your own water bottles. The staff was hit or miss. Some of the bartenders had condescinding comments when you requested certain bar drinks. We didnt receive beach towel cards upon arrival and was thoroughly questioned by the towel attendant as if we should have already known the rules. The food was basic bland american food and did not have pescatarian options other than Tilapia. There is no room service so if you want breakfast or lunch, you had to go to the buffet or beachside grill area where there were flies and bees all around. We had to walk down the beach to Clevelands beachside restaurant for good food or go offsite to the marketplace. The power went out one evening and it was very hot! The beach was the very best part of the resort. Crystal clear warm water! We even saw dolphins one morning. I wont be returning.

You need to make your dinner reservations before you arrive or the moment you get there, they fill up fast. Beds are not super comfortable and the hot water was hit or miss in our building. The staff and entertainment crew were fantastic and made our trip very enjoyable. Lots of kids, but the entertainment crew made them feel welcome and the rest of us still had a great time.

I like how close the beach and property restaurants were to our room. Lots to do. Beautiful beach, clear water and aquatic life to see while snorkeling (snorkel provided free on property). Cleveland Bar on the beach 8 min walk (Eco Tours) has the swim with the Pigs $71 in out of water or $33 on beach. 10, 12 and 2pm. Just walk there and sign up in the bar. Be sure to bring a tip! Food was great. A la cart, book on the viva app as soon as u arrive. Green Building rooms is central. Second floor has ocean views. First floor is obstructed by bushes. Rooms needs updating. So much improved can be made, but the property amenities outweigh the lower grade rooms. Great shows at night . Nothing around to walk to except for the long stretch of sand white beach both ways. Lifeguard on duty for the property beach and security at night. Can to the Lucaya Market is $18 each way and has some restaurants, shopping jewellery and souvenirs. Empty on no port cruises. Lots of families and teens and elderly. Many chairs at the beach available, pool chairs taken up fast but the beach is where you want to be!

The beach was incredible! Buffet food was meh, restaurant food was excellent. Rooms were in OK condition, but shower was spotty with the water pressure and temperature. The beds were not very comfortable. But I came for the beautiful beach, and was beyond pleased with it.

You can’t beat the snorkeling at the resort!! The property itself is fine as is the food. Plan transportation carefully, BOTH WAYS for any off site activities- uber doesn’t exist and it’s not easy to call a taxi!

Pros: The beach is the best, I have been to Fiji, Cancun, Nassau, and many others in California. The sans is so fine-grained, too good. If you want a quiet and calm vacation time, this is the one. Cons: Food is not the best. Buffet is okay. They have a few items. Almost everything is tasteless. Long lines for drinks I asked for 2nd floor room, they said they don't have any. It wasn't true, almost 1/3 of 2nd floor rooms were empty. As a returning customer, I expected them to honor my preference. It was red flag for all 4 days we were there. So, couldn't try out any of the water activities. A/C was noisy as a chopper. They fixed it once we raised the concern. But, it started it's chopper like noise again. It was annoying, but not a deal breaker for us (but could be for many) Conclusion: We will return again because of the beach, not for the other things. If you're not picky about the foods, and love quiet and calm neach time, this one is for you. Sand on this beach is the best, so smooth and soft and so white, even better than sanda in Paradise Island/Atlantis. This is not a 5 star hotel like Atlantis. If you keep your expectations reasonable and don't wanna break your bank, this one is for you.

Our family had a great trip to the Viva Wyndham Beach Resort. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The beach and pool were beautiful. Our room was clean but could use a few upgrades. I would suggest having some cash on hand for tips and taxi rides. The resort doesn't have an ATM. The check in and check out process was smooth. We enjoyed our time there!

The room was great, steps from the ocean. The food and drinks were terrific. Lots of variety, and the fruit in the buffet was perfectly ripe. The staff couldn't have been nicer. The pool & hot tub were nice too, but for me, it was the awesome beach. It was stunningly beautiful. It couldn't have been a nicer experience. The price was beyond reasonable too. I will go back & recommend it to everyone.

Limited dining options. Top shelf drinks are for Viva members only. Limited entertainment options. Limited number of lounge chairs around the pool and only one hot tub. Rooms and facilities need to be updated. Service is generally good but usually hit or miss. Overall, though, a decent resort for the very reasonable price.

We liked that there were different restaurant options for the resort because we didn’t care for the buffet too much. The restaurants were outstanding though! The ladies at the spa were very nice as well. We wish the area they did the shows would have had some ac so we didn’t get overheated. We never got to see any of the shows because it was just too hot. We really enjoyed listening to the lady sing every night. The resort was not over crowded. We had a very nice stay overall. Everyone was very polite!

Entertainment was really good,very talented people,and the staff was very nice...beach was beautiful, but the Food was lacking everything seemed very generic...We didnt get to experience the reservation restaurants so I cannot review those,but the buffet was left to be desired...

The specialty restaurants were very nice. Especially the Mexican one. Food and waitress was great. We wanted to go on the trapeze, but they closed it on Thursday and Friday (they said because they didn't have enough staff. It was quite windy in the beginning of the week. Food in buffet was very repetitious and almost always cold. The week we were there the temperatures were low so we did not get to go in the cold pool. The Jacuzzi was cold and needed the jets to be fixed. The beach was beautiful and kept up well. Thought it was rude to charge for bottle of water in the rooms at an all inclusive. Didn't even have little bottle of lotion in the rooms, Toliets were very noisy, running even when not flushed. Alright for a #3 resort.

The beach was awesome and the view from the room great. The big problem was they have a buffet and three restaurants. You have to have a reservation to eat at the restaurants. We tried to get a reservation first thing after we checked in and all 3 restaurants were booked for the whole week so nothing but the buffet for us. We really wanted to try the different restaurants

I do not recommend this property. The buffet was the worse I have ever seen in all my travels. The customer service was rude and unprofessional. The property charged my credit card for stuff I never bought. The restaurants on-site were unavailable for 10 out of my 14 days. Other guests at the property were also complaining of feeling “scammed”. You will feel the same way. Hence, avoid this property at all costs.

The food options sucked. Shall I say that again? The food options suck. For a 7 day stay we only got to use the actual restaurants 3 times. This was not advertised on their website and we did not learn this until we arrived. You had to make reservations to eat at the restaurant and it was a fight to get that reservation. One lady we met there did not get all 3 of her nights. Once you did get to eat in the restaurant it was just dressed up food from the buffet. Putting a flower on a plate of buffet food is NOT eating in a restaurant you had to fight to get into. In order to eat we had to eat at the terrible buffets. It was so one night we walked off property and went to a local restaurant. We also had to go to a grocery store to get bottled water, it was not provided. I spent a lot of money for a mediocre experience. Stay somewhere else even if it costs more. Not worth it.
