The stay was ok but trying to get transport to the airport was a nightmare. Please pre-book transport a day ahead to the airport, especially if you have an early morning flight, as the hotel does not run a shuttle anymore. My family and I could not get a taxi or uber, as the drivers kept cancelling. Probably because the trip was short. We had to push our luggage for 1.3 km to the airport and nearly missed our flight,

Handy to the airport. The air condition noise from other rooms next door was the only thing to have any sort of complaint about apart from the shuttle to the airport did not operate until 7 am and our flight was 6 am. The Uber was going to be $10 per person to go 1.7km so we walked rather than be ripped off. There were two other passengers as well which would have meant a very fat profit for the driver. He got nothing from us.

Great room, clean and comfy. Staff were nice. Reception was 24/7 open. Only issue: don't be fooled by the "Airport" name, it's 25min walk from the airport, not really next to it. They provide shuttle but only at limited times and at a cost.

Ripped sheer curtain. Very old and had large multiple rips across which was an eyesore all day and night. I took a photo and video and showed the staff as the rips looked old and no way that anyone checking the room would have missed. I booked the hotel because it was closer to the airport than the city. Better service from the staff in the city. Very disappointed 😞

Pretty sad the conditions of the bedroom. The curtains were gross torn and stapled together as per the attached photos. Sad condition for a supposedly good hotel, Also stains on the chair next to the bed.

The property is not sound proof despite next to an airport and right by a highway. You hear everything next doors and outside in the hallway and chances are they will hear everything you do too. I lifted the toilet lid to find faecal stain on the toilet seat. Disgusted, I applied supplied washing liquid to disinfect. I was there for just one night. Felt tired I didn’t want to make a big fuss. Informed staff of the incident “she’ll have a word with housekeeping”. Mugs, spoons and glasses were dirty/stained. I wouldn’t use it without first, sterilise everything with boiling water from the kettle. Too scared to look under the duvet - just quietly activated my ozone gadget and slipped it under the duvet for 30 minutes before I get into bed. On a positive note, staff were courteous. The airport shuttle was convenient.

The property felt way overpriced for what it was and the sofa bed was absolutely filthy and covered in chunks of spaghetti. The sofa cushions were filthy as well and when I made the front desk aware, they weren’t overly concerned. For an executive suite, I was quite disappointed.

Reception staff & restaurant staff are amazing. Friendly & helpful. The only let down is housekeeping, very lacklustre at best. Simply pulling up a sheet is not making a bed. And dumping clean towels on the kitchen table, not ideal.

I stayed here for 1 night as it was close to the airport. Initial impressions were good but quickly deteriorated. The hotel is quite outdated with very average rooms. Bed was very uncomfortable, that combined with the traffic noise from the highway right behind the hotel resulted in a poor night with little sleep. Unfortunately.

Check in robotic, room dated, tired and needing a refurb. The room had a great view of the bins and was poorly sound proofed against aircraft takeoffs. Had early flight and no shuttle was running which was the reason I booked this. Thankfully uber saved the day. One to avoid until fully refurbed. Poor value for money. Management need to wake up to this hotels shortcomings!

All the staff from reception and the restaurant were incredibly friendly and helpful. When we checked out for a 6am flight, they booked us a cheap Uber to get to the airport. The restaurant was very good as well with a great range of food options and reasonable pricing. Our room was very clean and modern and a good size. Despite being close to the airport, noise was never an issue. There is plenty of parking as well. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed a single night after a late flight into Hobart. The check-in process was friendly and efficient and the room more than adequate for an overnight stay. The only (minor) issue was the air conditioning, which was too noisy to leave on overnight even with the fan on the lowest setting - the room was therefore a little colder than we would have liked. The breakfast buffet the following morning was quite nice and reasonable value at $18 each.

Staff were very friendly. Reception is open to 2300hrs so this really helped with our late delayed flight. There was a bit of confusion regarding the checkout time though. Staff said 1000hrs but my booking confirmation said 1100hrs. They were ok with the 1100hrs checkout

During check‑in, I asked for an extra blanket because I usually feel cold at night. The receptionist told me that “it was summer” and that “we didn’t need it,” saying that one blanket was enough for my child and me. This response left me disappointed, because I don’t think it is appropriate for staff to decide whether a guest feels cold or not. I was also not offered any alternative, not even a paid option. I believe the service should be more empathetic and focused on providing solutions, especially when it comes to something as basic as comfort during a stay. I hope this can be taken into consideration to improve guest experience.

Flew in from Sydney on the 29th of August, stayed two nights. Instantly made to feel welcome, staff don't just give basic service, they want to always go the extra mile to make your stay fantastic. Room was fabulous, bed was unreal it's softness had you fall asleep in no time. Breakfast service, fantastic, room service fantastic. I will not stay anywhere else when I travel to Hobart. Huge thankyou to the staff, so friendly, so brilliant. Thankyou Travelodge Hobart Airport.

Room was fabulous, bed was unreal it's softness had you fall asleep in no time. Breakfast service, fantastic, room service fantastic. I will not stay anywhere else when I travel to Hobart. Huge thankyou to the staff, so friendly, so brilliant. Thankyou Travelodge Hobart Airport.

Great room, clean and comfy. Staff were nice. Reception was 24/7 open. Only issue: don't be fooled by the "Airport" name, it's 25min walk from the airport, not really next to it. They provide shuttle but only at limited times and at a cost.

Very handy to Hobart Airport, friendly staff and a great meal in the restaurant. We were given a free bottle of wine on check in. Our king bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had the usual toiletries supplied. The only downside was the aircon was a little noisy. We would definitely stay here again!

Check in was good, the room was spotless and huge, the bed was very comfortable. Dinner was a disaster, apparently there was only one chef on, at one stage only 3 out of the 12 occoupied tables were served, I asked what the problem was as 1hr and 10minutes had passed since we ordered and we weren’t the first to be seated! Eventually dinner came, the salmon was well over cooked and the fish and chip dish was ok but the fish wasn’t fresh, you are 10 minutes from the pier lads - get some fresh fish in!!!

A convenient hotel located near Hobart Airport but just a bit too far to walk. An Uber or hotel shuttle were similarly priced. The restaurant / service / portions were excellent. We would stay here again.

The Tasmanian salmon in the restaurant was from frozen and dry. For $42 you'd expect fresh Tasmanian salmon in Tasmania. Just aweful. The room was spacious and clean. The reception staff very helpful. I prebooked a 13CABS taxi with reception for 4.30am. It sent me a confirmation, but never arrived. When i checked the taxi app at 4.35am it showed the trip as completed! I then called an uber which arrived within 6 minutes for mt trip to the airport.

Room was clean and hotel was conveniently located to airport for our late arrival and provided shuttle back in the morning to pick up rental car. Restaurant was ok but lack of staff was a bit of a problem. They were very friendly and helpful when you could find them.

I have been here 2 times now when staying in Hobart. And have no need to stay anywhere else. Its clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and wonderful. The food is great the price is great. And it's right near the airport and anything you need.

we were terribly cold during our stay in July. there were no spare blankets in our room. the staff told us there were no spare blankets in the entire hotel. I followed them around for an hour and a half, begging, before they found a blanket for us. this was demoralising and dehumanising both for myself and for the staff member.
