Bugs found in room, ceiling falling apart, and extremely stained carpet. Did the job for a safe place to sleep other & a place for our car.

All of the staff were very friendly, the property was always clean, it was very quiet and parking was never a problem.

WORST room I’ve ever stayed at. Extremely dirty & blood stained carpets. If I could give zero stars I would. Not to mention a $100 deposit for that mess of a room. Do NOT stay here ever, save your money! Disgusting the owners should be ashamed of this place. It needs to be shut down.

Mirrors had stains, comforter had lots of damage, front desk was very nice, but didn't feel safe in my stay. Would rather have slept in a car.

No shampoo, hairblower, microwave, closet. We had to ask for refrigerator. Wobbly toilet seat. Hot and cold handles opposite, so took cold shower. Cricket on wall and beetle bug in bed. Non-smoking room that smelled like smoke. Ask for a remodeled room...we hear they are very nice!

This was quite literally the most disgusting and terrifying experience I’ve ever had in a hotel. Starting off after being on a road trip in the storm for hours, finally get to the hotel which the main entrance is covered by caution tape. Got the hotel key, went to the room where the “cleaning person” was actively mopping our room with the most disgusting water. Might I add the “cleaning cart” was a stolen save a lot shopping cart with a mop and a vacuum inside it. The room had “sealed evidence” tape on the front door. Was never told it was a smokers room. Bed had ORANGE stains all over it. We decided to check out after 10 minutes of being there and suffer the 5 hour car ride back home. Although this was the funniest and most interesting part of the trip, would’ve liked to had a chance to relax at any point. Waste of money and literally wouldn’t even recommend this place to a homeless person.

So stinky, the beddings have hair from the previous occupants, the pillow smells mold, I have to buy beddings and a pillow from Walmart. The room carpets smell like mold, urine, spit, and cigarette butts. I have to buy a candle to eliminate the smell. I wasn't able to sleep because of the room's smell. I was charged an extra $100 for a supposed "deposit," an expensive deposit compared to Hilton in Michigan. I suppose they worried about their old furniture and TV remote getting stolen. It's disgusting.

Very dirty room. Asked for a cleaner room and was denied. Unable to cancel remaining days stay as I would of been charged for it. Horrible experience would NOT recommend this place. Customer service was trash.

This place is so old I rather of stayed in my car. No place to put luggage on, no dressers, floor was damp and bathroom floor wet, no towels, no wifi had to go back to office to get password no place really to eat around there. Room was supposed to be nonsmoking, yet you walk in, and it smelled. Bed cover had burn marks in it and it was a king size bed. They handled you the remote and then you have to return it when you check out. Room next to mine was smoking and so when you put the light on in the bathroom which the fan goes on it draws the smell from the room next door. It stunk. Even my service dog didn't want to stay there. Refused to eat. I do have to say the guy up front was very polite and helpful but they need to learn what they can and cannot ask about a service dog.

It was a really small room. It was a great for just to stay one night and the beds were not comfortable

Didn’t need anything fancy. Going to the races nearby. Room was clean. Appeared to be freshly painted and bathroom appeared to be recently updated with new tile, tub and fixtures. Not many channels on tv. Didn’t really matter to me. Tile on floor not grouted to surface so gaps between tile had dirt in them. Need bigger waste basket. Would probably stay there again for next years race.

For the money, we didn't expect much. The room was dark and dreary, water stains all over the carpet. The only positive thing I can say is that the bedding was clean, and the bed was comfortable. However, we are wondering why this room was even offered to us as we were not able to take a shower because the on/off knob was missing. All there was, was the metal stump that a person/plumber would attach the knob to. In addition, the shower/tub was heavily chipped/rusting. The shower curtain only had 5 rings out of a standard 12. This is a cheap $3.00 improvement to have 12 rings. The shower curtain itself was pretty gross - dried up plastic. Unfortunately I have deleted the pictures I took. The reason I took pictures in the first place was that we did not want to have to pay for the items that were broken or missing, which include the shower on/off knob! And to add to this, we had to pay a damage deposit of $100 for a place that didn't have much more to damage. Sad. When we checked in, it kind of looked like a convenience store in a high crime area with plexiglass between the employee and the guest, where they handed the tv remote to us under the glass. Perhaps this is in a high crime area, but honestly, it did look pretty nice outside. It was pretty shocking to see the interior of this place. This is the first place we ever stayed where we left as soon as we could, hours before checkout time. We were there for the eclipse. Comfort Inn was less expensive, and a lot nicer!

Did not have a bedside table or desk ir anything to sit our phones or belongings on , had to sit them on the floor .

The hotel is in a nice, quiet spot with easy access to the highway. The grounds are clean. I enjoyed the goodie bag when I checked in. The room was nicely updated; all new paint, appliances, etc. it was very clean. The only downside was the room was quite sparse. There was a bed and that was all there was for furniture. There was no place to sit unless you sat on or in the bed. There was definitely room for a nice sofa chair or two. There also were no nightstands; no place to set a phone or cup, etc. Also, there was no plug at the sink to use any sort of grooming supplies. Not game changers, just room tomorrow the comfort of the stay. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised how nice and modern the room was.

Great room, newly remodeled. If you don't like to sleep with road noise then prepare your ear plugs.

Nicely renovated old style motel. Hot shower, comfortable bed, fresh hot coffee in the morning and a room rate at the lower end of the range is exactly what I’m looking for in an overnight stop along the expressway.

Toilet didn't work, no fridge or microwave, and no hot water to shower. Never again

Clean, spacious room. It was just recently redecorated. The room was quite bare except for a nice queen/ kingsize bed and a microwave. Very friendly staff who helpfully provided us with one chair. It was a pity the room wasn’t fully furnished… Still missing a fridge , a desk/table and chair. Hopefully that will all be taken care of in due time. I would recommend this place. St Louis was easily reached by car, nice view of the Arch every time I crossed the bridge.

I booked the room because I needed an inexpensive room for one night in the St. Louis area. It was the least expensive hotel in the area. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The clerks were friendly and efficient.

I did not like how there was hidden fees. I didn't like how there was a deposit of $150 a fee for my cat an extra $12 even though I already paid online. Employee was I guess sleeping in the room right next to ours and when we got back from getting dinner I got excited because I saw birds, and the employee came to his door and slammed it to get us to shut up. Male manager(?) Came and yelled at them, after we asked them about the person in the room they told us to keep the noise down even though we literally just got there. The blanket in our room had cigarette burn holes. The window shades in our room were broken and busted, basically falling off the hangers for them so we were scared people could see in all night. The only person that made the stay tolerable was the amazing nice lady at the front desk. Amazing woman, horrible place to spend even 1 night.

We asked to check in a little bit earlier- 30 minutes. Was told no- it has to be cleaned. In fact the check in time is NOT 2pm- it is 3pm. No- I read it carefully.. sorry but they are wrong. Plus- we need a $100 deposit. Plus a $12 check in fee above and beyond whatever you paid. Then when we check in at 3pm- creating problems with our plans and get to the room. It was clean- but no dresser, nor table, nor a chair to sit our bags down on. 1 small nightstand- not 1 on each side of the bed but just 1 nightstand that had a phone on it. So our bags had to be put on the floor. I don’t know why they even accepted Hotels.com guests because they had a big note on the window in the office saying not to book a room through places like Hotel.com and others because they don’t pay the hotel enough. Book through them- I would not have found them if not for this app.. trust me we won’t even go to that town again!!

I had a situation & Manager Scotty went above & beyond to help me resolve problem. He was always very friendly, pleasant & helpful no matter what time of day or night.

We booked this room through Hotels.com, and then the management allowed a location construction crew extend their stay and bumped our reservation. No one contacted us, and we drove all the way there late in the evening only to find out we had nowhere to stay. VERY poor service.

I was overcharged and then my deposit wasn't refunded. When asking to speak with a manager was told he's unavailable on weekends. I called several times with my bank 3 way about my deposit and she refused to answer after my first call. There was no refrigerator,floors were horribly stained.

The staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming.

Scotty was incredible. He had a great attitude and was incredibly helpful. He really made the stay outstanding.

Front desk would not allow us to check in stating “our reservation has expired” despite us being in the check in window stated on the Travelocity information. Hotel would not refund us either stating it was a non refundable booking. Luckily I had booked travel insurance so I’m trying to get the money back that way. Overall I’m disgusted with this property and would not recommend anyone ever to book here. You’re way better off staying at the Hampton. It’s close in price in a better location and the staff are way nicer. Oh and they’ll actually let you check in.

Property is in an area less desirable but convenient to busch stadium. Dont expect much from the room very basic.

This hotel made me rethink my bottom line when it comes to places I stay. They give you the tv remote when you check in and the tv barely plays and it’s mounted high on the wall with no stand or anything so you can’t connect anything to it. The shower was way too hot I could barely stand the lowest setting. Really inconvenient location too

Needed a last minute room and Relax Inn was convenient and affordable.

Old Route 66 place in a run down neighborhood, but rooms have been updated nicely. With the budget. No matter how you make your reservation, even paid in full, they will request a $100 cash or credit card deposit - big problem for travelers on a budget - and the deposit return doesn’t credit for a day or more. Junky check in office. Draws a lot of transients, but I can see they have spent the money to upgrade the rooms nicely.
