Courtyard by Marriott Vicksburg

The hotel was dated and a little musty smelling, but better than some of the other hotels in Vicksburg .

I realize this hotel is currently being remodeled but in its current condition, it is definitely NOT what I think is Marriott standards. The entire room seemed quite dark but the bathroom was extraordinarily dark which makes it difficult to out on makeup and do your hair. I found the bed to be uncomfortable but my husband liked it so that’s just a personal preference. The “gym” was teeny and hotter than down under! The bright side was the staff! Extremely friendly and courteous

We enjoyed our trip

No internet and no help from the front desk to get internet. The light fixture in the bathroom was hanging precariously. No housekeeping service. Maybe it will be a better experience once they are done remodeling but it was not great this weekend.

Worst mattress i have ever slept on. Hotel is under construction/remodel beds definitely need a serious update. Staff was okay,place was clean just out dsted and wore out.
