Great Staff. Had a variety of food snacks and drinks. Lacking in utensils for kitchen. One spoon in drawer. Needs updates and a better cleaning. Either from dog or musty carpet smell. Back door was not locked and didn’t have to use a room key.

Pet friendly for dogs! Suites have medium size fridge, full size microwave, cooking stove top, and coffee pot. No coffee but can buy it on site and laundry detergent. Clean hot showers with very nice staff members.

There was a recent fire in the hotel which was fine but blocked the fitness room. Not sure there was laundry. The door to our room looked to have been forced open. There was no silverware in our room but one spoon. The air conditioner didn't work well and the window only opened a small amount. We did like the location

No way this is highly rated. The elevator was out and looked like it was out for some time. The first floor was all occupied by what looked like several families of Indian nationals. It smelled like curry and saffron throughout the first floor. Most of the 2nd floor seemed empty. They put everyone that checked in on the 3rd floor so everyone had to carry their luggage up the stairs. The pillows were feathered but flat. There were hardly any cars in the parking lots. Possibly 15 to 20. No cars were parked in the back. The hallway up stairs was dirty and looked like it had not be vacuumed in weeks. This was the worst hotel that I had ever stayed in. False advertising by the fake reviews. I would never have stayed there if they were accurate. Don’t stay there even if there are no rooms anywhere else. Sleep in your car is much better.

The staff was AMAZING! Even the cleaning staff...so so very kind! Other than that...mold in our shower wall (I have photos) and the smells in the halls and stairs. Also cockroaches climbing the walls in the hallway and ants in the lobby. I feel sorry for the people working there as they were the best! Also the printer didn't work and I needed it for work. They said, "oh it hasn't worked for a while"

It was ok but doubt I stay at one of these again. No hot water in my room the 2 days I was there. I also had my dog and the only place to bring the dog out pretty nice but the door to get out to it would always lock and no room key would unlock it to let you back in. It was a major hassle with the dog had to go around and right through the middle of everybody to get back to my room every time. Staff was very friendly. One would think the money they charge they could upgrade some stuff to make guests more comfortable. Will be going back to the American inn in Paducah for the rest of 6 months in town.

The bed was comfortable. The night staff that checked us in was friendly, but the person who checked us out was incredibly rude. The bathroom was gross, I took pictures because it was the nastiest experience I have ever had. I got up early to shower and when I went to get out grabbed a towel, and there was feces stains on it. Bathtub was not cleaned and there were no Kleenex, just empty boxes. Disgusting and lazy housekeeping. Will NEVER stay in this hotel again. Which broke my heart because I loved the last Candlewood I stayed in. I was so looking forward to a clean room and hot shower after the week I had. What a disappointment. Do better!!!!

The room was very dirty there were small black hairs in the freezer and cockroaches in the room, we only stayed for about an hour and packed up our stuff and took the $175 loss and paid for another room in a different hotel.

We were traveling back from vacation and just need a decent hotel to crash for the night. Thought spending 140 bucks for the night we’d get a nice clean hotel, not the case. Lady at front seat was pleasant. Get up to the room and it was filthy, floors had dog food and hair all over them. Bathroom counter had blood or makeup smeared all over it and beds smelled like they had not been cleaned. Will never stay there again. I would think spending well over 100 bucks the hotel would be clean. I have stayed at $60 night hotels that have been cleaner.

Although the front desk people were kind - The rooms were disgustingly dirty. The first room was filthy - the pillows were smelly , the microwave had finger smudges, there was hair all over the air unit , the desk /table had crumbs. They moved me to 409 The wondow base is covered in black soot and the handle was dirty The fridge handle was slimy The bathtub had black smears on the side The bathroom door had a red /brown food or drink splattered all on it The sink had build up in it under the tile that you could see The hairdryer felt dirty The bathroom floor was slimy I was able to slide around on the floor I considered just leaving but since I booked through Expedia. I wasn’t going to get a refund . The hallway had a smell to it .

Spacious clean guest room, recliner a plus for arthritis, great bedding and pillows except mattress needs to be replaced. That’s where the good comments end. Hotel common areas like lobby, hallways, doors, elevator and outside were all dirty and in need of updating. Poor venting unlike other hotels with kitchens, and it causes the hallways to smell horrible. Need better venting. Check in person was either high or 1/2 sedated and unprofessional. Other staff never present at desk, always had to wait to see a soul. Not open and friendly hotel, and at times we saw people loitering outside and it did not feel safe at anytime except when we were locked in our room. No covered unload area and we got soaked from the rain. Hotel and staff needs to be brought up to the level of the guest room and the price being charged per night.

We booked for the convenience to the roadway. There are 7+ properties in the area that offer the same value. We booked a King convenience room, and the bed was comfortable and clean. The heater worked, as temperature required. The tv was broken and provided a picture with a blue screen. Since the rooms are kitchenette’s, there was a presence of a grease smell permeating the room throughout the nights stay. The shower had great water pressure and quality cleaning hand pump soaps. Unfortunately, as nice as it was to have water pressure, the drain backed up with 6 inches of standing water. Better option for the price

Our room was noisy with very thin walls and floors. The room above us became occupied after midnight, and their walking around and getting unpacked was terribly loud, waking us up for nearly an hour. We had an early morning and were hoping for restful sleep.

Ugh. They had to switch rooms twice bc of bad toilets - one room's toilet functioned, but was cracked. We reserved a two queen room, but of course they didn't have one so my SIL had to sleep on a pull out sofa - and the guy at the front desk didn't even know if it was a sleeper - I had to go with him carrying a screaming 5 month old to CHECK MYSELF and I'm disabled, folks - I have spondylitis, this was after a 5 hour drive... while on the phone with my fam to make sure it was ok. Took over an hour with cranky 5 month old, toddler, and 2 dogs. We were not offered ANY kind of compensation for ANY of their various mess-ups - nasty, unflushing toilets, nor the reservered room mess- up. Absolutely horrible service.

I ordered a disabled room for aging parents to have a roll in shower (paid extra for the room) and it was NOT available even though the booking said I booked it. The night staff said there was NOTHING they could do. One parent said he wasn’t going to take a bath but he would try to help his bipolar heavy set wife (who had recent knee surgery) the best he could. I ordered a disabled room for aging parents to have a roll in shower (paid extra for the room) and it was NOT available even though the booking said I booked it. The night staff said there was NOTHING they could do. One parent said he wasn’t going to take a bath but he would try to help his bipolar heavy set wife (who had recent knee surgery) the best he could. AND I had to pay $50 extra for each room when I checked in for ?? Maybe it’s a deposit and I’ll get it back - who knows!!

The first room we were given the air/heat didn’t work so we had to move to another room. The elevators were dirty and the rooms could’ve been cleaner. Beds were comfortable. The liquid soap was nice. Tv worked great. Quite no noise from other guests. Staff was very helpful and friendly! Always asking if we needed anything.

Stayed here many times. This time wanted a 100.00 to hold if we done something to the room. Unreal. 60 year old people. Then after 30 minutes calls the room and says the card we gave them declined. We booked for the convenience to the roadway. There are 7+ properties in the area that offer the same value. We booked a King convenience room, and the bed was comfortable and clean. The heater worked, as temperature required. The tv was broken and provided a picture with a blue screen. Since the rooms are kitchenette’s, there was a presence of a grease smell permeating the room throughout the nights stay. The shower had great water pressure and quality cleaning hand pump soaps. Unfortunately, as nice as it was to have water pressure, the drain backed up with 6 inches of standing water. Better option for the price

There was a recent fire in the hotel which was fine but blocked the fitness room. Not sure there was laundry. The door to our room looked to have been forced open. There was no silverware in our room but one spoon. The air conditioner didn't work well and the window only opened a small amount. We did like the location

I encountered a serious cleanliness issue in my room. To my horror, I discovered black mold on the bathroom faucet. There is a smell that is overwhelming in the hotel and the room. The rates are well above what you get. No breakfast. Not what i envisioned for 150.00$ a night. Im comparing this to three other hotels i stayed at and one within a mile of this one.

We were on the 3rd floor. As we walked down the hall to our room there was a yellow official looking paper taped to the door three rooms away from ours that said Room Closed, Imminent Health Hazard! Then our door was very hard to open because the hinge was broken. THe room itself appeared to be clean, and the bed was comfortable. The TV worked ok, and pullout couch worked for our adult son. That being said this was the only hotel around us that did not have breakfast included, which I did not notice when I booked it. So, we will not be staying here again when we visit relatives in Paducah.

I stayed in a suite on 4th floor. Room itself was very nice and comfortable. Kitchen in room was great. The only issues I noticed was a smell in the hallway that could have been food cooking but it was same smell every day when I returned. They apparently do not vacuum the halls daily. The hallway on my floor was littered with stuff down the entire hallway from the elevator to my room for the first 3 days I was there. The staff was very friendly and assisted me with finding a restaurant my first day. When I left every morning they were very friendly as well. The gym was your normal hotel gym. Equipment was in good shape. It is a 100% smoke free property.

The room was clean, looked to be a great place for any sort of extended stay. With two exceptions. For the room to be fairly updated, the bed was absolutely horrible!! I felt like I could count the springs in the bed. Sleep to close to the edge and you might just slide off. Secondly, I don't have a clue what was going on with the air. There is one thermostat, located in the bedroom, but it had no effect on the bedroom temperature. The "living" area seemed to meet the temperature setting, but the bedroom seemed to switch back and forth between heating and cooling. There was a sticker on the door that said something about the room being able to monitor coming and goings and it would adjust the room temperature accordingly (which seems creepy on one hand) but how do you know if I am coming or going? Basically the temperature was set on 72 when I arrived. I set the temperature to 68. But the thermostat never changed until about the time I was checking out, it registered 71. The room fluctuated between, "where's the cover, I need an extra blanket, to fight or flight, get me out from underneath these covers". TV in the bedroom worked fine, but the one in the living area would never connect.
