Best Easter Weekend ever! We booked the family room (Kifaru) for 3 adults with 2 bedrooms/ 2 bathrooms for 2 nights, which included breakfast with the lions and entrance to the safari park. We attended breakfast right when they opened at 7am due to jet lag and everything was fresh with so many options: both western and eastern cuisines, made to order eggs, pancakes one morning and waffles the next morning, juice bar, fruits, salads, and I even met their head chef…he was eager to talk to me when I told him that I’m a personal chef. Coffee is included except specialty items like mimosas, cappuccinos and lattes but reasonably priced Our room was near the spa/pool. Pool was great with a swim up bar and zebras, wildebeests and rhino are right in front of us. We brought carrots they left for us in our room to get them to come closer. Staff is so nice, helpful, and always eager to assist us with anything. We were so lucky to be able to book breakfast with giraffes, which can only be done at check in at an extra cost and only one guest/family can book each morning (weather permitting). We also booked the night safari package with buffet dinner and fire show…loved this experience too! If you love animals definitely book this place! Better than Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge!

Amazing set along side of the zoo being able to throw carrots to the zebras. Watch them walking around. Breakfast with lions walking past the windows was very cool. The buffet breakfast was lovely. We paid for the buffet dinner and watched the fire dance.. very nice. Catching the tour bus thru the zoo was fun followed by a day exploring the zoo . Getting to pat and touch/ hold several animals and get photos with them AMAZING… best part of our trip was coming here got to feed one of the elephants… nice area

We had an incredible one-night stay at Mara River Safari Lodge in the Kifaru Family Suite. The room was spacious and welcoming, complete with a fruit platter on arrival. The balcony offered breathtaking views, and feeding zebras directly from it with carrots left in little baskets was an unforgettable experience! The pool was conveniently located right next to our room, adding to the luxury and relaxation of our stay. This was truly the best stay we’ve ever had, and we highly recommend not just doing a day trip. Experiencing at least one night here is an absolute must! Oh, don’t forgot to have breakfast with lions. Please make sure book the seating/table in advance next to the big open glasses so you have the best view. DO NOT MISSSSSSS THE FIRE DANCE if you are staying at Mara river safari lodge :)

What a wonderful experience, to sit on your veranda and watch Giraffes, Rhinos and Wildebeests, and feel completely safe. The room was lovely, and easy access to the Safari Park, and all it had to offer, with the cost already built into the cost of the accommodation for most things. Will easily stay there again, and recommend to others.

색다른 경험이었습니다. 나름 멋지게 잘 꾸며진것 같아요. 룸 컨디션 별로라는 얘기가 많이 걱정했는데 침구며 화장실이며 흐린눈 해야 할 정도느누아니었어요. 하지만 수영장은.... 전혀 정수가 안되는 느낌이었어요. 리셉션 직원의 영어가 알아듣기 힘들었습니다. 미니바가 유료라는걸 설명 안해준건지 , 아니면 설명 해줬는데도 영어 발음때문에 못알아들은건지 의문입니다.

初めて泊まりましたが総体的には楽しかったです。 お部屋からも常に動物、シマウマ、サイ、バッファロー、キリンがウロウロしてるのが見れます。キリンは夜は見かけなかったかな… 今回は何もわからず情報が少なかったので料金が安かったSWALAでツインのお部屋がいいとリクエストしてましたが運悪く少し奥まった部屋に当たってしまい、エサで置いてあったにんじんが椅子に乗って投げても全く届かない(泣)シマウマか近くで待ってくれてるのにも関わらず何回投げても届ずでした。もし次来るなら2階の部屋にしようと思います。1階でも奥まってなければ届くかもですが野球選手でもない女2人旅の私達は何回投げても手前の川までしか行かずでした。 朝食のレストランも窓際に近い席でライオンは良く見れましたが1番いい窓際席は予約と言われました。予約出来るんやっと。 色々学習します。 14:00チェックインの少し前に着いたので14:00タイガーショー、サファリジャーニー、16:00アニマルショー、16:30エレファントショーとうまく周れました。 ナイトサファリも出発前は思ってましたが、夕食付きRp1,200,000とビックリ価格に今回はなし判断。結果、無料のツアーとショーで十分満足でした。 アニマルフォト、ファイヤーダンスは参加せず、KIBOKOプールは見に行きましたが部屋から見る広場を違う角度から見れるプールだったのでこれもパスしました。 朝食はガラス越しに間近にライオンが居ました。エサやりタイムが00分で始まるのか私達は8時くらいに食べ始め、そろそろ出ようかと思ったタイミングで小さなお肉が掘り投げられてメスライオンが近くで見れました。 朝食もアニマルにアレンジされてたり可愛かったです。 思ってたより、大人も子供も楽しめるホテルだと思います。

The main attraction of the lodge is that it is attached to the Taman Safari Park which showcases an amazing array of indonesian, indian and african wildlife. The journey thru the "safari lands" in special buses is outstanding and the park caters to all ages and I think a must see for any visitor to Bali. Now to the lodge itself. Its a great concept and well executed however long overdue for an update. As an example the suite we stayed in cost NZD$800 per night and and iniitally we were wowed. That did include 2 complimentary Safari Journeys to be fair. However on closer inspection our phone stopped working, internet was really patchy, the mosquito screens in the bathrooms were damaged, one of the bathrooms had a leak in the ceiling, the shower slide kept dropping down, etc etc. Still on the negative it was hard to get information on what activities and what facilities were provided. A QR code was provided but was updated and the WiFi situation made it hard.On the plus staff were excellent, food was very reasonably priced for a hotel, and goid quality.

Kul upplevelse att få se och mata flera exotiska djur. Riktigt kul att få se giraffer från balkongen på rummet. Otroligt vänlig och hjälpsam personal. Rummet var dock väldigt smutsigt, inte alls städat med massa fläckar i badrum, damm överallt och hår från tidigare gäster, ganska så oacceptabelt.

다들 후기에서 도마뱀과 벌레 언급이 많아서 걱정했는데 바로 옆이 사파리인것을 감안하면 나쁘지않은 환경이였다. 다만 샴푸와 바디워시는 밖에서 챙겨가는걸 추천...비치되어있는건 너무 거품이 안남. 직원들 너무 친절해서 2박하는 내내 기분좋게 머물렀다. 숙소에서 동물보기도 좋고 사파리 투어도 즐겁고 환경적인 부분 감안하면 추천할만한 숙소

숙소가 환경친화적인 만큼 벌레가 없을순없지만 그래도 깨끗한 편이엇습니다 다만 너무 덥습니다 다른 경험은 아이들에게 최고의 경험이엇습니다.

シャワールームに異臭して使うのをためらう感じでした。部屋は動物園のなかにあるので、窓を開けたら虫がたくさんいます。バスルームに蟻の行列が… スタッフの対応は良く、サファリクルーズも楽しめました。 動物は夜は遠くにいたけど、朝はバルコニーのすぐそばに来ていました。 子供連れに良い。

Overall, our stay was good. Food at the hotel was good quality, but not as great as some of the other places in Bali for the same money. Rooms were clean on the surface, but could use a deep clean and a bit of a renovation in some spots since they are showing signs of wear and tear.

櫃檯客服態度不親切；房內設備浴室木板破損很危險，水管阻塞；火舞表演拍照，任由客人毫無秩序插隊缺乏管理！ 儘管有些許缺點，能在房間躺著就能近距離地欣賞動物加分不少，早餐有獅子陪吃飯也很特別。

The main attraction of the lodge is that it is attached to the Taman Safari Park which showcases an amazing array of indonesian, indian and african wildlife. The journey thru the "safari lands" in special buses is outstanding and the park caters to all ages and I think a must see for any visitor to Bali. Now to the lodge itself. Its a great concept and well executed however long overdue for an update. As an example the suite we stayed in cost NZD$800 per night and and iniitally we were wowed. That did include 2 complimentary Safari Journeys to be fair. However on closer inspection our phone stopped working, internet was really patchy, the mosquito screens in the bathrooms were damaged, one of the bathrooms had a leak in the ceiling, the shower slide kept dropping down, etc etc. Still on the negative it was hard to get information on what activities and what facilities were provided. A QR code was provided but was updated and the WiFi situation made it hard.On the plus staff were excellent, food was very reasonably priced for a hotel, and goid quality.

Also an sich schönes Hotel aber leider haben die Familienzimmer kein Blick auf die Tiere womit immer geworben wird!Das wussten wir vorher leider nicht somit bringt auch der Korb mit Möhren recht wenig auf dem Zimmer mit den man die Tiere vom Balkon füttern soll und vom Pool aus muss man zu weit werfen denn das haben wir als Antwort bekommen von der Rezpetion.Sehr schade!Der Park an sich ist ähnlich wie der Safari Park in Hodenhagen(Germany) aber schön gemacht.Die Preise dort sind für uns Europäer ok. Das „Löwenrestaurant“ ist eine schöne Idee.Man kann wirklich beim Essen die Löwen beobachten jedoch ist die Atmosphäre dort eher wie in einer Kantine!Und nicht wie in einem Restaurant was auch etwas schade ist.Wir waren 3 Nächte dort.Den Park hat man in einem halben Tag bis ganzen Tag durch.Eine Nacht hätte auch gereicht.Aber von dort kann man auch gut andere Ausflüge starten.

Amazing stay! Stepping out onto the balcony to see zebras, wilderbeast, a rhino, a giraffe and elephants is such a fantastic experience. The buffet breakfast is in the lions den! We booked the Night Safari and highly recommend this, we were in a cage, travelling through the safari park feeding animals in the dark. Book a Twiga room for 1st floor rooms with animal view, some of these have connecting rooms whereas the family suites seem to overlook the pool area.

子供達と2泊しました！他にないコンセプトで最高の滞在でした。私たちはファミリータイプのスイートに宿泊しましたが、その部屋からは動物が遠く、プールが近くにありました。動物が部屋から近いのを望むならば、手前の小さめの部屋を2室借りてコネクティングルームするのがベスト選択と思いました！スタッフも皆フレンドリーで子連れは最高だと思います！

I was nervous after reading reviews and hearing there are only two giraffe breakfast spots daily, but I was quickly reassured upon arrival. A kind staff member explained we could still privately feed the giraffes, from the same spot as breakfast, for much less cost and with the same 1:1 experience. The Tsavo restaurant had delicious food and fantastic service, especially from Ayu (worked Dec 13-14). She treated us like friends, making our stay extra special. The buffet breakfast featured adorable animal-themed foods. We stayed in a Twiga room with a breathtaking view—better than my trip to Africa! The bed was huge, with an extra one for our daughter, and tossing carrots to wildebeests from our balcony was a highlight. Some reviews mentioned bugs, but we saw just one fly and a harmless bug—less than in my house during Australian summers. I had low expectations for the park itself but was blown away. The kids’ splash park, with multiple slides and pools, was almost empty, and even adults enjoyed the slides. The animal experiences were incredible; we fed and patted elephants and meerkats, and the park was so quiet it felt exclusive. The Lion Restaurant was so good the lions roar a lot and watch you eat haha. All the staff were lovely, despite some reviews calling them rude—I only saw staff being kind unless provoked by rude guests. My skeptical husband was won over, and we can’t recommend Mara River highly enough. Thank you for unforgettable memories!

Best Easter Weekend ever! We booked the family room (Kifaru) for 3 adults with 2 bedrooms/ 2 bathrooms for 2 nights, which included breakfast with the lions and entrance to the safari park. We attended breakfast right when they opened at 7am due to jet lag and everything was fresh with so many options: both western and eastern cuisines, made to order eggs, pancakes one morning and waffles the next morning, juice bar, fruits, salads, and I even met their head chef…he was eager to talk to me when I told him that I’m a personal chef. Coffee is included except specialty items like mimosas, cappuccinos and lattes but reasonably priced Our room was near the spa/pool. Pool was great with a swim up bar and zebras, wildebeests and rhino are right in front of us. We brought carrots they left for us in our room to get them to come closer. Staff is so nice, helpful, and always eager to assist us with anything. We were so lucky to be able to book breakfast with giraffes, which can only be done at check in at an extra cost and only one guest/family can book each morning (weather permitting). We also booked the night safari package with buffet dinner and fire show…loved this experience too! If you love animals definitely book this place! Better than Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge!

Some of the staff were very friendly, some were so so. No one mentioned the white tiger, Komodo dragon or piranhas so we never saw them. I think they should give a map and point things out. There was the marine park but no one ever mentioned if it was open or closed. Food was awesome. Room was so so

The staff at this property made this place amazing to be at, everyone was very friendly and helpful and hospitable. The dining was great, I would only stay here if I returned to Bali and willl recommend this place to everyone I know who go is planning to visit. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. We stayed in one of the suites with 5 people, plenty of space. The staff arranged meerkat feeding and dinning. The zoo itself was cool.

색다른 경험이었습니다. 나름 멋지게 잘 꾸며진것 같아요. 룸 컨디션 별로라는 얘기가 많이 걱정했는데 침구며 화장실이며 흐린눈 해야 할 정도느누아니었어요. 하지만 수영장은.... 전혀 정수가 안되는 느낌이었어요. 리셉션 직원의 영어가 알아듣기 힘들었습니다. 미니바가 유료라는걸 설명 안해준건지 , 아니면 설명 해줬는데도 영어 발음때문에 못알아들은건지 의문입니다.

サファリパーク内にあるホテルのため場所は不便で周辺にも何もない。 部屋からサイ、ヌー、キリン、シマウマが見れた。 フィーディング用に部屋に人参が置いてあるが、部屋の前まで来る事は希。 朝食ブァフッエィは品数も味も満足いくものでした。 帰りにスミニャックまで行ったが、タクシーを呼ぶと450000ルピアと言われたのでグラブを呼んだら180000ルピアだった。 観光客から大きく儲けたいのはこの国の方針なのだろう。

Amazing set along side of the zoo being able to throw carrots to the zebras. Watch them walking around. Breakfast with lions walking past the windows was very cool. The buffet breakfast was lovely. We paid for the buffet dinner and watched the fire dance.. very nice. Catching the tour bus thru the zoo was fun followed by a day exploring the zoo . Getting to pat and touch/ hold several animals and get photos with them AMAZING… best part of our trip was coming here got to feed one of the elephants… nice area

What a wonderful experience, to sit on your veranda and watch Giraffes, Rhinos and Wildebeests, and feel completely safe. The room was lovely, and easy access to the Safari Park, and all it had to offer, with the cost already built into the cost of the accommodation for most things. Will easily stay there again, and recommend to others.

The main attraction of the lodge is that it is attached to the Taman Safari Park which showcases an amazing array of indonesian, indian and african wildlife. The journey thru the "safari lands" in special buses is outstanding and the park caters to all ages and I think a must see for any visitor to Bali. Now to the lodge itself. Its a great concept and well executed however long overdue for an update. As an example the suite we stayed in cost NZD$800 per night and and iniitally we were wowed. That did include 2 complimentary Safari Journeys to be fair. However on closer inspection our phone stopped working, internet was really patchy, the mosquito screens in the bathrooms were damaged, one of the bathrooms had a leak in the ceiling, the shower slide kept dropping down, etc etc. Still on the negative it was hard to get information on what activities and what facilities were provided. A QR code was provided but was updated and the WiFi situation made it hard.On the plus staff were excellent, food was very reasonably priced for a hotel, and goid quality.

Amazing stay over looking loads of animals. In an authentic Villa. Spent the whole day walking the safari park. Did the night safari. You have to do it to believe it. This place is so interactive with the animals.

Also an sich schönes Hotel aber leider haben die Familienzimmer kein Blick auf die Tiere womit immer geworben wird!Das wussten wir vorher leider nicht somit bringt auch der Korb mit Möhren recht wenig auf dem Zimmer mit den man die Tiere vom Balkon füttern soll und vom Pool aus muss man zu weit werfen denn das haben wir als Antwort bekommen von der Rezpetion.Sehr schade!Der Park an sich ist ähnlich wie der Safari Park in Hodenhagen(Germany) aber schön gemacht.Die Preise dort sind für uns Europäer ok. Das „Löwenrestaurant“ ist eine schöne Idee.Man kann wirklich beim Essen die Löwen beobachten jedoch ist die Atmosphäre dort eher wie in einer Kantine!Und nicht wie in einem Restaurant was auch etwas schade ist.Wir waren 3 Nächte dort.Den Park hat man in einem halben Tag bis ganzen Tag durch.Eine Nacht hätte auch gereicht.Aber von dort kann man auch gut andere Ausflüge starten.

Amazing stay! Stepping out onto the balcony to see zebras, wilderbeast, a rhino, a giraffe and elephants is such a fantastic experience. The buffet breakfast is in the lions den! We booked the Night Safari and highly recommend this, we were in a cage, travelling through the safari park feeding animals in the dark. Book a Twiga room for 1st floor rooms with animal view, some of these have connecting rooms whereas the family suites seem to overlook the pool area.

I was nervous after reading reviews and hearing there are only two giraffe breakfast spots daily, but I was quickly reassured upon arrival. A kind staff member explained we could still privately feed the giraffes, from the same spot as breakfast, for much less cost and with the same 1:1 experience. The Tsavo restaurant had delicious food and fantastic service, especially from Ayu (worked Dec 13-14). She treated us like friends, making our stay extra special. The buffet breakfast featured adorable animal-themed foods. We stayed in a Twiga room with a breathtaking view—better than my trip to Africa! The bed was huge, with an extra one for our daughter, and tossing carrots to wildebeests from our balcony was a highlight. Some reviews mentioned bugs, but we saw just one fly and a harmless bug—less than in my house during Australian summers. I had low expectations for the park itself but was blown away. The kids’ splash park, with multiple slides and pools, was almost empty, and even adults enjoyed the slides. The animal experiences were incredible; we fed and patted elephants and meerkats, and the park was so quiet it felt exclusive. The Lion Restaurant was so good the lions roar a lot and watch you eat haha. All the staff were lovely, despite some reviews calling them rude—I only saw staff being kind unless provoked by rude guests. My skeptical husband was won over, and we can’t recommend Mara River highly enough. Thank you for unforgettable memories!

Best Easter Weekend ever! We booked the family room (Kifaru) for 3 adults with 2 bedrooms/ 2 bathrooms for 2 nights, which included breakfast with the lions and entrance to the safari park. We attended breakfast right when they opened at 7am due to jet lag and everything was fresh with so many options: both western and eastern cuisines, made to order eggs, pancakes one morning and waffles the next morning, juice bar, fruits, salads, and I even met their head chef…he was eager to talk to me when I told him that I’m a personal chef. Coffee is included except specialty items like mimosas, cappuccinos and lattes but reasonably priced Our room was near the spa/pool. Pool was great with a swim up bar and zebras, wildebeests and rhino are right in front of us. We brought carrots they left for us in our room to get them to come closer. Staff is so nice, helpful, and always eager to assist us with anything. We were so lucky to be able to book breakfast with giraffes, which can only be done at check in at an extra cost and only one guest/family can book each morning (weather permitting). We also booked the night safari package with buffet dinner and fire show…loved this experience too! If you love animals definitely book this place! Better than Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge!

Some of the staff were very friendly, some were so so. No one mentioned the white tiger, Komodo dragon or piranhas so we never saw them. I think they should give a map and point things out. There was the marine park but no one ever mentioned if it was open or closed. Food was awesome. Room was so so

Amazing set along side of the zoo being able to throw carrots to the zebras. Watch them walking around. Breakfast with lions walking past the windows was very cool. The buffet breakfast was lovely. We paid for the buffet dinner and watched the fire dance.. very nice. Catching the tour bus thru the zoo was fun followed by a day exploring the zoo . Getting to pat and touch/ hold several animals and get photos with them AMAZING… best part of our trip was coming here got to feed one of the elephants… nice area

This was one of our favorite places we've ever stayed up. To wake up and see animals out of your balcony wow! We highly recommend staying here. Breakfast was good as well, and they made a lot of cute animal dishes. The only one bad thing we'd say is there were some ants in our room. However there were ants in all the rooms we stayed at in Bali. Please stay here, and book early as rooms can fill up

Overall, our stay was good. Food at the hotel was good quality, but not as great as some of the other places in Bali for the same money. Rooms were clean on the surface, but could use a deep clean and a bit of a renovation in some spots since they are showing signs of wear and tear.

The staff were all excellent, I loved my grill Salmon, the best I had in Bali. The fire show was entertaining. i enjoyed feeding the giraffe, the breakfast with the lions could be better, they slept the whole time,. A staff member showed me lions in the toilet so I was happy she did.

From the beginning to the end, our stay at this hotel resort was wonderful. Staff was wonderful. The food was wonderful. Accommodations was wonderful very have 1000% A1 in my book. The night safari the day safari, the pool spa everything about it was great.

I loved my stay! The room isn't brand new, and there's some wear and tear (the towels were HORRIBLE---stained, ragged, I didn't use them on my body/face), but overall the room was in decent shape, and the view/balcony was worth it. I like that the room comes with food to feed the animals (giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests were near my room). The room is spacious. Even though there's no elevator, getting to upper-level rooms is easy peasy because there's a ramp. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend others to check out this unique property. FYI- Dinner at the restaurant can get crazy with the Night Safari folks rushing in and around to eat and make their event times.

Unfortunately the rooms are incredibly tired and would benefit from a major refurbishment / freshen up. The food at the restaurant was great; however when it came to ordering dessert, almost all options were not available despite the hotel being very quiet. This was disappointing.
