From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone here does an amazing job! We mainly dealt with the overnight front desk gentleman and he was super helpful and kind. We left my son’s favorite stuffed animal and we called over and Delilah found him and is saving it for family to pick up. That means the world to my little guy! Breakfast was also great, my husbands and kids said. I chose to sleep in and they brought me back delicious coffee. The rooms were super clean and they are spacious! This is our go to spot when visiting family because it’s great!

About 30 minutes after arriving a massive thunderstorm with hail and possible 70 mph. Winds hit. They allowed me to park under the entry canopy to prevent damage to my car, thank you so much. Without Hesitation.

Room was clean although carpet was stained. They had a sign threatening overpriced fees if items were missing from the room. I guess they assume the guests will steal. This made me uneasy thinking what if the staff then steals items and trys to charge the guest for them. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast was ok but not really good. I would say stick to the cold cereal, fruit and yogurt.

The experience was everything. For this to be a small town the customer service was amazingly wonderful. My husband is from Mexia and we go all the time but never stayed at this hotel. From now on we will.

Stayed one night on a Tuesday night, had to search for parking. Had to wait 10 minutes or so for service at the desk at check in. Breakfast was link sausage eggs and fries potatoes, waffles, OJ fruit dry or hot cereal, or coffee. At 10:30am we started putting our bags in the car, went back to room to get or items we’d left. Housekeeping just came in without knocking while we were there, she apologized and walked out. She didn’t know we were still in the room. This hotel is located near a truck stop, so it’s very noisy.

The floor unit air conditioners gave off a molded smell and the air was definitely not clean. Tiles were falling off the wall in the bathroom, carpet and upholstered seating was old and stained. The toilet never stopped wreaking of urine and there were permanent stains on the floor that looked like urine splatter. All-in-all, the hotel was preferable to the other local options.
