The fireplace in our room and the generous balcony were spectacular. The fireplace in the lobby was inviting and a perfect place to end our day We will be back. Steven in the bar brought us an ice bucket for the wine we brought from our room. He is the epitome of great customer service.

Room was clean and good bed, but weird layout. Also sound funneled into the room due to the shape of the building. Nice view but not as relaxing due to busy road in front of property.

Can't say enough nice things about this lovely hotel in a great location close to San Francisco. Our drive from SFO was about 40 minutes. Onsite underground parking was very convenient and clean. Our very spacious room (a Deluxe Suite) was S-P-O-T-L-E-S-S when we checked in with a nice balcony, and sitting area with fireplace. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There's a selection of great nearby restaurants and shopping, plus lots more in the town of Half Moon Bay about 15 minutes down the road. The only complaints I had were very minor - the water pressure in the shower was a tiny bit low and the shower lighting was a little dim. Neither of them were overly bothersome, nor worth deducting any points. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! Two other things to consider which weren't important to us but might be to others: 1) The hotel does front onto a somewhat busy street. It does get considerably quieter at night, and there are rooms situated further away from the road. 2) It's not on the beach.
