Lovely updated lodge with great lakeside views, lovely staff, excellent restaurant and (so thrilled!) chargers for our PHEV car. We’ll definitely be back.

On a lake with watercraft available to rent, continental breakfast, location to Lenox and Tanglewood Music Center.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were large and beds comfortable and very clean. Only drawback was our rooms were on the second floor with no elevator and one lady in our party had difficulty climbing stairs.

Room was great especially as we were at the back of the hotel and looked out on the lake. Only spoke to one member of staff on arrival. Few eating options as on site Indian restaurant was closed on a Sunday. No lift so ask for ground floor if you can’t carry suitcases upstairs.

The lakeside location made for a special stay. My wife and I rented the pontoon boat and took a cruise around the lake. Just beautiful.

Convenient location, stopped overnight in our way to Boston. Location by the lake is pretty. Liked the EV charging station on site.

Beautiful lakefront property. Spacious, clean room. Breakfast was basic, but it's close to Lee where there are plenty of beautiful coffeeshops and restaurants. I rented a kayak one morning and the lake was incredibly peaceful.

Very clean hotel with water view. You can rent boats of kyaks if you care too. Excellent continental breakfast daily. Washer, Dryer, Gym, and computer available to guests. Indian restaurant on site. Close to everything.

This weekend trip to the Berkshires was made perfect by our wonderful stay at the Black Swan. The property was beautiful and they were wonderfully accommodating to us with our dog. My only regret is that I was not able to try the onsite restaurant. Definitely next time!

Really quiet, peaceful stay and beautiful spot for the money. Front desk staff so nice. No elevator to second floor so keep in mind if have accessibility issues/wheelchair user. Great view and gluten free menu options. Would stay again if in area. Was just passing through on way to medical appointment.

The bathtub was very dirty

Room was not cleaned well upon check in. Updates are nice but lacked attention to detail. Furniture needs replacing. Bed was good.

Our room was clean as a pin and we loved the option of daily maid service. Love that there’s a closet with adequate hangers, extra blanket, clock, and the shampoo, body wash dispensers in the shower. Towels were big and fluffy. LOVE the heat lamp in the bathroom!

I had a great stay at this comfortable, homey, family owned inn. The beds were vrry comfortable and the rooms had everything I needed including a fridge, lots of towels, a hair dryer etc. The property is clean, safe and very quiet. There’s an Indian restaurant on site with delicious food and a bar. The lake is lovely; I enjoyed a relaxing time sitting by the lake with my dog. The breakfast was good and the breakfast room has a gorgeous view of the lake. I will definitely be back for another stay.

We started our stay with a text letting us know when our room was ready. Check in was very pleasant and efficient. Our room was as described and very clean. House keeping was very friendly and did a superior job cleaning room. Excellent customer service. Overall a great stay. Plan on returning again. thank you

The room was clean upon arrival although they failed to clean the room the next day. The breakfast was nothing to speak of. The hotel rate is quite high for the level of the property. I would not stay there again

Nice staff clean rooms. A bit dated, but good value. Can be a bit noisy at night with thin walls, but manageable. Great location to activities in Lenox, Williamstown and Stockbridge.

great location. so nice to wake up to the view of the lake and have kayaks on property to rent. within a short drive of everything. staff was very nice and informative. downsides are you can hear everything through the front door. it’s hard to stay quiet enough for your neighbors. also no water pressure in the shower. clean linens but bring your own pillows for comfort.

The place has a great location but it is quite run-down. The food is not good at all and the bartender could not make drinks. The wifi was unusable with one bar in the room and no wifi in the breakfast area. Remote control for TV - not working properly. People were nice. Hotel does not derserve the rating given on hotels. com

Great view across the lake at breakfast. Good location, clean, comfy bed, good wifi. It was a shame the TV was not “Smart”.

The view of the lake was great and we loked the location. The restaurant downstairs was great. The bed was hard and we didn't sleep well and the shower was horrible, the worst draining shower I've had in my life. Rooms are dated and decks could use repair.

Our room was facing Route 20 and when I questioned the noise when we first got to the end, we were told that all noise would stop at 9 PM unfortunately it was so loud and noisy all night long with cars and trucks that I could barely sleep the whole night I felt like I was in the center of New York City I wish I had been warned about this when I did ask about it other than that the end is immaculate. The linen is excellent, and the staff is nice.

Loved the Black Swan. Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice location and good food. The only problem I had was that the shower wasn't really good. Very light water pressure so it actually took longer to take a shower than I normally do because it takes longer to rinse off. Also, no rubber bath mat inside the shower to reduce slipping, no grab bars, and the water didn't drain right away so I was standing in water which also upped the risk for slipping.

There's so much to like about the Black Swan Inn. It's located in a scenic area that's convenient to theaters, shopping, museums... just about everything beautiful Berkshire County has to offer. My companion and I shared a room with a glorious lakeside view and a balcony. (Note that not all rooms have a lakeside view.) The staff was pleasant and welcoming. The restaurant within the hotel, Mint, serves superb Indian cuisine. Mint is very popular, so it's a good idea to make a reservation in advance. I only have one complaint about the Black Swan Inn: it's noisy. From our room, day and night, we heard loud conversation from the hall, as well as every step made by the occupant in the room above ours. I wish their walls weren't quite as thin.

Traveling back from Western New York my sister and I decided that we wanted to break up the trip back to Maine. Once we had booked the hotel, I got a Text from the hotel, confirming our reservation. In the old days, you used to call the front desk if you needed something, but the texting came in handy the next morning as the hot water didn’t work. I received an immediate text indicating that she was going to reset the hot water heater and we should have hot water very shortly. As soon as she had reset it, she texted that we should be all set, And we had nice hot water. Our room was clean, the beds were nice, and the breakfast offered a lot of options the next morning, with a nice view of the pond. We had wanted some thing that wasn’t too far off the highway and this was the perfect option. We were wishing that we had more time there as the Norman Rockwell Museum look like that would’ve been interesting to visit! So if I return to that area, I will definitely stay here again.

Michelle - the front desk sent kind messages waiting for my arrival. The check in process was fast and nice. My room was as expected, beautiful, spacious, cozy, and clean. I loved that they had the essentials: TV, iron, blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, and refrigerator, and outlets for iPhone. The balcony was spacious overlooking the beautiful lake. The restaurant Mint was lovely. The Manager Promod suggested a delicious Indian dinner and had reached out to his friend that works at the CDMO site I was going to visit - as a way to make me feel safe and provide me a ride to the site. It was so lovely - I felt so safe. The breakfast was nice - coffee, sandwiches, bread, pastries, cereal, fruits, and yogurt (and more). A minor thing was the person upstairs on night 2 was quite loud - you can hear every step. Also, the conditioner was difficult to squeeze out of the bottle (minor). But man, this place was truly lovely.

They would not me switch to another night stay when my husband got Covid !

The Black Swan is the most efficiently run property I have stayed at VV for a number of years! Owen & Michelle, Day & Night Managers respectively, were very welcoming and helpful, making sure that our stay was enjoyable. Michel, our housekeeper, made our room sparkle, and kept it in pristine condition. Black Swan sits lakeside in the Lee/Lenox Ma area in the Berkshires. A beautiful Setting. Outstanding value too. We will definitely be back!

Michelle and Maddie made my stay very pleasant. When I first came in Maddie helped me get settled.Needed an adjustment to my room and she took care of it. Michelle made sure that everything was available for breakfast for me in spite of the pancake maker having a temporary clog. So nice to stay at a place where people will make the extra effort! Both women helped me with my bags. Great place to stay.

The hotel was very nice, but i was unable to complete my stay. I tried to get a refund and was refused, told to go through Expedia. I had insurance, but due to the nature of why i didnt everen stay the first night, i could not get my money back.

The staff were very bright and helpful and what a wonderful restaurant in “Mint”! We also loved the continental breakfast putting a spotlight on the very hard working staff that kept everything fresh and full even with great demand. We will Definitely be staying again the next time we are in the area!

The woman at check-in, Michelle, was suoer nice and helpful. The property is beautiful and there are lots of food delivery options, but also a restaurant on site and even snacks and beer available for purchase. The only downside is the floors are very creaky, and the people above me kept walking back and forth, and I felt like they were going to fall through my ceiling. Otherwise, it's a very nice and convenient spot.

Wow. This place offers the best view. Our spacious room had a balcony right on the edge of the lake. Perfect place to relax. We also loved the Indian restaurant on the premises MINT.

The location off the MA Pike is perfect. The woodwork and hallway carpets are dated but clean. The bedroom was clean and bed very comfortable. The surprise was the restaurant on premise, Mint. Best Indian food we have ever had!

The breakfast was minimal. The hard boiled eggs cold from the refrigerator. The choice and quality of the food were on the level of a cheap motel.

This is our second time staying at the Black Swan. We are especially impressed with the nice employees we met during our stays. The Indian Restaurant on the property is an additional benefit of staying here

View of the lake was lovely! Breakfast was fine—yogurt, eggs, pancakes and cereal. Coffee was plentiful!
