Residence Inn by Marriott Atlantic City Airport Egg Harbor Township

Loved the staff and room was great . The pool heater being down was a bummer. The kids were looking forward to the pool.

Pool was the reason why we chose this property but it was closed during our stay. There was no notice for people who are looking them up online. No small items like lotion and toothpaste. They said that it is no longer a standard practice to give them out or even keep them in stock for guests who need them.

The hotel was nice. The room was clean. My biggest problem was that the pool was not operational. Dispite the fact I called on 2 different occasions asking about pool hours and then calling to request a room on the first floor to be close to the pool, no one mentioned the pool was closed because they were waiting on a heating pump. The primary reason for the stay was because I was hosting a party for my grandchildren and their friends to be able to swim . That was going to be the highlight of our stay. So I was very upset to hear first about the pump, then the GM said to close the pool then they added chemicals in the pool which really eliminated any hope of salvaging our stay. No offer of compensation just, I'm sorry. We look forward to this for 2 weeks! For the amount of money we put out for 2, 2 bedroom suites, I feel cheated.

It seems the olace is under renovation so some thimgs are just left unattended. There was a u pleasenat oddor in our room and hallway bg the pool area. I did tell the main desk, I didnt really get an answer. The mattress foe sofa bed had some big stains on it. Thr swimminv pool did not have any towels, when i went to retrive some at the main desk, i got some bath towels and the service desk person looked a bit annoyed. Breakfast was ok but yhe start at 7:00 am which for some famolies might not be ok since there sports event for kids who start really early. Also out heating in our room seemed by polar as we coulsnt know what temperature was set on as thermostat semed out of commissions.

The property is under construction so it was a challenge to park at night because so much of the construction supplies occupied parking. The staff is fantastic and could not have been better. The room was just meh…not sure if it was the hotel’s lack of space or the fact that we were booking through expedia. In a handicap room which did not have many of the basic amenities in the kitchen and in the room. And no, I didn't complain to the staff because it was not their fault that the hotel’s entire 3rd floor was under construction.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Property currently under renovations which limits parking. Room was upgraded and modern. Beds were comfortable. Pool was nice and warm. Continental breakfast available daily.

They were struggling because they were remodeling. It was clean despite being construction.

Nice hotel tucked off the main road, behind the Shore Diner and across from a shopping center with a Walmart and drive-thru Starbucks. Fifteen minute drive to downtown Atlantic City. I appreciated the kitchenette having dish soap and a sponge for handwashing the dish we used. Breakfast was ok. Parking spaces outside the main office are limited.

The night manager was very helpful. Still it wasn't a good experience. We weren't told the entire property was undergoing renovations. The parking lots were filled with huge dumpsters, which meant no parking space for us. I had to park my new car in front of check in, on a curved drive that left us in danger of someone coming around the corner and hitting us. You wouldn't expect a car to be there. We just came a long trip of housecleaning for my mom & were exhausted. We brought up all our stuff, including a lot of leftover food, and put everything away. Our daughter had taken a shower and we were all ready for bed when we found the fridge wouldn't make ice. We were told we could only get ice from the front desk, so my husband went down in his robe to get some. When he used his key card to open our door, the lock malfunctioned and made it so the door could not be closed. Part of the lock remained sticking out. The manager tried to fix it, but couldn't, so she called the handyman. We waited with our door partly ajar for quite a while. He couldn't fix it without removing the entire lock, so we were moved to a room on a different floor. We had to pack up all our stuff again and move. We were given a bigger room, but the tub in the master wasn't clean.We tried to get into the fitness center but it was closed due to renovations. The picture of breakfast showed waffles but there were none. The day manager promised us 6,000 Marriott points for our trouble,which we never got.

Hotel is undergoing construction. We did not know. Construction debris and loud construction vehicles outside our 1st floor room. 8 a.m. Saturday morning drilling into concrete was occurring in the room above our bed. Loud voices were heard coming from the same area. Also air conditioning unit banged on and off all night long. Front desk manager stated that the workers were to have begun at 9 a.m. not 8 a.m. like that would have made a difference?? Check out was 11 a.m. AND it was a Saturday. The manager offered Marriott points for the situation. I am not sure if we have been awarded them yet.

My husband and I were very disappointed when we walked into our room. The smell was horrible. The TV cords were visibly hanging. Ice maker did not work. WiFi extremely slow and TV froze most of the time while trying to watch Netflix. Had to watch movies on my phone, smh. The outdoor fire pit was covered when it should have been lit because it was actually a bit cold there & no one cleaned up the leaves. The only plus was the breakfast and the staff. Will not stay there again.

Front desk said they would call, no service, no follow up, no milk at breakfast despite a Wawa across the street. No linens for pull out couch, dented and abused appliances. Building was undergoing renovations…should not have been open or at least close by floors. Dusty, dirty. Housekeeping staff was very kind. Never again…I expect more from Marriott

Yikes. The pros.. location, super comfy beds, big rooms with kitchens, Housekeeping. The cons... AC broken, smoke-filled rooms, burn holes, clueless front desk staff. Dangerous - they give out room keys like tic taks. Our room had someones belongings including a laptop. The front desk person actually asked US to touch it and bring it down to them ourselves. We ran into that guest in the lobby the next day and he said that he tried to get into our room later that night but we had it bolted. He also said that it happened to him 3 times! The front desk kept "forgetting" where they put him and giving his room to others. One of these days this type of cluelessness in management is going to lead to a safety issue.

The room was spacious, all of the staff were friendly, and it was conveniently located near restaurants and shopping. The only item I didn't like was the breakfeast. It was free, so I appreciated that, but the food quality wasn't the best. The oatmeal and breads were the best. The juice machine wasn't working and the eggs were quite hard. Overally, I would recommend this property!

Tv didn’t work, no hairdryer in room.

Good location. Great price. Pretty awesome amenities. The tv and internet service was pretty much none. :/ So be prepared for zero internet.

I travel to area on a regular basis and this Residence Inn has now become my go to for overnights. The staff is always cordial and accommodating. The early morning breakfast is always a pleasant to start to my day.

We had no hot water for 2 days we were told we would be comped for 2 nights but when we checked out there was no reimbursement on our bill. At this point manager said it would only be for 1 night and we had to contact hotels.com to get approved. Have not been able to speak with anyone and the computer chat just made another reservation!!!

Excellent stay. Friendly, attentive and accomodating staff and a clean hotel/room. Dog friendly environment. Will definitely stay again.

It was so wonderful. Clean quiet. We were close to dining areas. Shopping. It was just a wonderful stay. The staff was wonderful.

We have stayed here multiple times - an excellent quality extended stay hotel and convenient to our family. Shopping in the area was convenient and helpful.

The property is located right across from WalMart and also 2 restaurants. There was also a diner located around the corner from the hotel. The property was clean as well as our hotel room. We had an option to cook in our room, but we chose to eat out. They also had a breakfast buffet available in the mornings from 7am to 10am. There was always something complementary to drink available down stairs. The staff was always available to help with any needs that arose. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey.
