We loved this stay, everything was as advertised, not much negative to say about it, if I were to drum some up… we wish there would have been some k cups for the keurig already at the cabin but definitely not expected, the jacuzzi barely filled up enough before running out of hot water but it was enough, a couple nuisance flys and couldn’t find a fly swatter but a towel worked to take them out, other than that the place was very charming and private, the host was great and worked with us on check out time which was nice because it was “spring forward” and we lost an hour of sleep, there is a cabin nearby named “hoot owl cabin” and we literally saw a hoot owl right outside it and when I got to “deer trail cabin” down the way I got to show my wife my owl calling skills and hoot back and forth with it. Will return someday to revisit.

The property was just as described and the cabin was beautifully decorated inside. The location was very secluded yet close enough to Eureka for a short drive into town. Pros: can’t beat the serenity and seclusion, cabin has everything you need to cook and stay in if you choose, the cabin is cozy. Cons: hot water heater couldn’t fill up the tub before running out of hot water (but does refill quickly) and home is drafty especially in colder weather (2 fireplaces if needed can keep you warm). All in, we would definitely stay again!

Our stay was seamless. It is a beautiful cabin and had everything we needed and more than we expected! The attention to detail did not go unnoticed or unappreciated. My favorite was just sitting on the gorgeous porch in the mornings and listening to the birds! I climbed into the hammock to read and quickly fell asleep- it was so peaceful. We will stay again!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay so much we talked about going again next year! The cabin has everything you need to unplug if you want or just set back and enjoy the beautiful nature all around you! Weather you are sitting by the fire pit in the evenings or enjoying the deck just off the bedroom, morning or evening. This was a much needed vacation for us without the kids to just relax and reconnect! Thank you for sharing your charming cabin with us!!

Great stay except checking in with no electric. The gate was very dark and the porch was total darkness, so therefore, we could not see the keypad numbers to get the key finally got in the cabin was very cold and dark, with no electric. After a couple of phone calls to Doug we got it solved Chris came and checked on us, and everything was good. A little disappointed that the fireplace in the bedroom did not work overall, the weekend was very good.

The cabin is simple, charming, idyllic, and secluded. Perfect for our annual post-holiday anniversary retreat. Everything we need to enjoy a respite, whether we stay in and read, nap, and enjoy the fireplace, or if we want to go to Lake Leatherwood for a hike or into Eureka Springs for a nice meal and shopping, even that’s easy…just a short drive.

It was a beautiful cabin with a very cozy vibe! My husband and I spent a lot of our time on the deck enjoying each others company along with the occasional whoot of an owl! It stormed a few nights while we were staying at the cabin, and the sound of the rain on the tin roof had me sleeping like a baby! We definitely plan to come back and stay again!

As described, peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful location. Could have been cleaner. Storm knocked out electricity one evening, left us in the dark. After contacting the Owner, and not knowing when power might be restored we departed a day early.

I felt fortunate to find this cabin in an area that I had never been to before. The directions to get there were perfect and, although there are a couple other cabins in relatively close proximity, you wouldn't know it. We felt pretty secluded. We split our time between lounging at the cabin and doing activities near Eureka Springs. Everything we needed a within 10 to 20 minutes from the cabin. When we wanted to use the internet for streaming and what not, there were absolutely no issues with it. My favorite part was the back deck with the string lights. It was so nice to sit out there and relax. I didn't need to contact Doug much after the reservations were made but he was always timely and polite with his responses. You can't go wrong with this cabin.

We booked this cabin for our stay in Eureka Springs to get married and it was the perfect place for newlyweds! It's obvious from the moment you walk in that so much love & care was given to this little cabin. It's decor and design made the perfect backdrop for bridal "getting ready" photos, too! My favorite part was listening to the windchimes at night outside of the bedroom. The cabin was easy to find, clean, and the host very attentive! Thank you for a lovely stay and we look forward to revisiting for future anniversaries!

Great place to get away to and relax. The cabin had everything we needed for a long weekend away. It was a short drive to Eureka Springs and many hiking trails around the area. Communication was excellent from the hosts. Cabin was clean and well stocked with basic supplies (tp, trash bags, towels, hairdryer, coffee, etc). Directions were spot on and cabin was easy to find. Highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed here with our two little pups. Check-in and out were super easy, and the hosts were very communicative. The cabin was cute and cozy, with lots of unique decor. The bedroom was amazing, and the bed was super comfortable! As others have mentioned, the kitchen is quite small, and a struggle to cook and wash dishes. That was disclosed upfront, but I wanted to mention it for future guests! We enjoyed walking our pups around and lounging for a few days using the cabin's Wi-Fi. My only negative feedback is that the bathtub was a bit difficult to get in and out of due to its height; the fixtures and tub are a bit older, too. The cabin feels like it needs a good deep cleaning. It was clean "enough," but places like under the bed, tops of baseboards, etc. need to be dusted and cleaned. Overall, we had a good experience!

The cabin is in a woodsy area with a wonderful deck. This is a great getaway cabin that is about a 15-20 minute drive outside of Eureka Springs. It is clean, well stocked, and well decorated.

We arrived in the pouring rain and could not find the road as it drops off the main highway. Then there are several cabins to pass. The cottage was nice. However we paid for 3 nights and only spent 2 nights at the place . The owner charged me a pet fee as expected, but then charged me for 2 rugs that had poop on them from someone else's dog!! I do not think that was fair!! That is what the pet fee is for. He also stated there was dog hair on the furniture and my dog does not shed. When I went in to use the bathroom there was a roach on the wall! The next time I went in there was a spider! Then one morning we woke up to a huge spider crawling on the blanket we were using. We could not take a shower because we never found how to turn the shower on. The jacuzzi had a nasty wad of someone else's hair in it when I took my bath. How gross! Just beware of the cleanliness and bugs!

The cabin was better than pictured, responsive owners, clean & well equipped with what we needed. Rained one day so read & enjoyed the deck with a warm cup of coffee. Close to Lake Leatherwood trails and Beaver Dam. Highly recommend Local Flavor Cafe in Eureka Springs. Great cabin for our 30th Anniversary!

Nice for a relaxing break after Christmas. It was charming and comfortable. I would just like to point out in detail for future guests that the limited kitchen includes a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee pot, toaster oven and hot plate. We didn’t use anything but the refrigerator and coffee pot since we ate out for lunch and dinner but for those that wish to cook it could be useful. The pizza place is amazing as is local flavor. We hope to visit again in the future!

Loved this cabin! Looks exactly like the pics (except there's now a leather couch instead of a futon). The view from the bed every morning was gorgeous. The deck was amazing. The bed and sheets were heavenly. The AC kept up excellent in the August weather. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom, which even included a hair dryer and no shortage of mirrors. It was secluded even though it's just off the highway. Very very private and peaceful. The only highway noise that could be heard was the motorcyclists and it was really only noticeable when sitting on the deck but wasn't deafening. Will definitely stay again!

Had an excellent stay! We did feel a little exposed without blinds or curtains in the bedroom but that was the only thing we would’ve changed about the whole stay!

Super cute cabin. We loved everything about it except the kitchen. The kitchen is totally unusable for any sort of meal prep other than microwaving food. The sink is teeny tiny and I bumped my head on the counter trying to use it because it is back in the corner. The counter top oven has to be moved over the sink because there is no other place to put it and plug it in. It’s a shame because everything else about the place is awesome. Corners were cut on the kitchen. We’d stay here again but will just eat out.

Great little, well-kept property. Was a little weird not having any curtains. I felt a little exposed and would of been nice if at least had a shear curtain. Overall, really loved the serine views and the relaxing environment.

I felt fortunate to find this cabin in an area that I had never been to before. The directions to get there were perfect and, although there are a couple other cabins in relatively close proximity, you wouldn't know it. We felt pretty secluded. We split our time between lounging at the cabin and doing activities near Eureka Springs. Everything we needed a within 10 to 20 minutes from the cabin. When we wanted to use the internet for streaming and what not, there were absolutely no issues with it. My favorite part was the back deck with the string lights. It was so nice to sit out there and relax. I didn't need to contact Doug much after the reservations were made but he was always timely and polite with his responses. You can't go wrong with this cabin.

We booked this cabin for our stay in Eureka Springs to get married and it was the perfect place for newlyweds! It's obvious from the moment you walk in that so much love & care was given to this little cabin. It's decor and design made the perfect backdrop for bridal "getting ready" photos, too! My favorite part was listening to the windchimes at night outside of the bedroom. The cabin was easy to find, clean, and the host very attentive! Thank you for a lovely stay and we look forward to revisiting for future anniversaries!

Great place to get away to and relax. The cabin had everything we needed for a long weekend away. It was a short drive to Eureka Springs and many hiking trails around the area. Communication was excellent from the hosts. Cabin was clean and well stocked with basic supplies (tp, trash bags, towels, hairdryer, coffee, etc). Directions were spot on and cabin was easy to find. Highly recommend!

The property was as described. It was quiet and secluded, and for my wife and I, it was an intimate getaway for our honeymoon. We will be back and would highly recommend it. The host was responsive to our questions which was a huge deal for us.

We arrived in the pouring rain and could not find the road as it drops off the main highway. Then there are several cabins to pass. The cottage was nice. However we paid for 3 nights and only spent 2 nights at the place . The owner charged me a pet fee as expected, but then charged me for 2 rugs that had poop on them from someone else's dog!! I do not think that was fair!! That is what the pet fee is for. He also stated there was dog hair on the furniture and my dog does not shed. When I went in to use the bathroom there was a roach on the wall! The next time I went in there was a spider! Then one morning we woke up to a huge spider crawling on the blanket we were using. We could not take a shower because we never found how to turn the shower on. The jacuzzi had a nasty wad of someone else's hair in it when I took my bath. How gross! Just beware of the cleanliness and bugs!

We loved this stay, everything was as advertised, not much negative to say about it, if I were to drum some up… we wish there would have been some k cups for the keurig already at the cabin but definitely not expected, the jacuzzi barely filled up enough before running out of hot water but it was enough, a couple nuisance flys and couldn’t find a fly swatter but a towel worked to take them out, other than that the place was very charming and private, the host was great and worked with us on check out time which was nice because it was “spring forward” and we lost an hour of sleep, there is a cabin nearby named “hoot owl cabin” and we literally saw a hoot owl right outside it and when I got to “deer trail cabin” down the way I got to show my wife my owl calling skills and hoot back and forth with it. Will return someday to revisit.

Great stay except checking in with no electric. The gate was very dark and the porch was total darkness, so therefore, we could not see the keypad numbers to get the key finally got in the cabin was very cold and dark, with no electric. After a couple of phone calls to Doug we got it solved Chris came and checked on us, and everything was good. A little disappointed that the fireplace in the bedroom did not work overall, the weekend was very good.

The property was beautiful. It was perfectly secluded but not far from things to see and do in Eureka Springs. Perfect for our honeymoon. We loved the town but the cabin was the best experience possible. Great communication from the owner before, during and after stay.

The cabin is very tucked away in the hills of Arkansas. Beautiful tree canopy all around you. Wrap around deck was nice. Would be a great cabin to watch the trees turn in the fall or a nice winter weekend away.

The cabin is in a woodsy area with a wonderful deck. This is a great getaway cabin that is about a 15-20 minute drive outside of Eureka Springs. It is clean, well stocked, and well decorated.

The property was just as described and the cabin was beautifully decorated inside. The location was very secluded yet close enough to Eureka for a short drive into town. Pros: can’t beat the serenity and seclusion, cabin has everything you need to cook and stay in if you choose, the cabin is cozy. Cons: hot water heater couldn’t fill up the tub before running out of hot water (but does refill quickly) and home is drafty especially in colder weather (2 fireplaces if needed can keep you warm). All in, we would definitely stay again!

The cabin is simple, charming, idyllic, and secluded. Perfect for our annual post-holiday anniversary retreat. Everything we need to enjoy a respite, whether we stay in and read, nap, and enjoy the fireplace, or if we want to go to Lake Leatherwood for a hike or into Eureka Springs for a nice meal and shopping, even that’s easy…just a short drive.

The cabin was perfect! It was secluded, romantic, quiet, cozy…everything we were looking for in a getaway as a couple. It’s close enough to Branson and lakes that there are plenty of activities and attractions to choose from. The hammock is a fantastic napping place! All the furniture was comfortable. The internet was pretty reliable. We had just a couple glitches during some thunderstorms, but nothing major. The cabin was well-stocked and immaculate. We will be back!

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay this past week! The check in process was smooth, the fire pit and grill allowed for my husband and I to enjoy the scenic view around us. Not to mention when it rained we were able to listen to and watch the rain from the covered porch. Everything is very open, the wifi works great, and even though the kitchen area is small everything you need is provided. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to return one day!

The cabin is clean and as pictured. The hosts are pleasant to work with and communicated well. Definitely a quiet getaway spot. Our front wheel drive small SUV did ok on the driveway but definitely was concerned if it rained a lot. Host recommended 4 wheel drive for winter. Believe them!
