Lovely property, room and common area furnishings and decor. Had dinner once, it was fine. While most staff were "hospitable" a few were quite immature and others didn't seem to care or acknowledge a few guest complaints ...such as hot tubs never turned on or working, with that water becoming stagnated; bars not fully supplied; outdoor pool service and music abruptly stopped daily at 5p tho stated open til 10p. Otherwise, a comfortable resort.

Only issue wax that the restaurant and pool bar kept closing because there wasn’t any business but I specifically called to make sure the pool bar would be open in our stay. They closed around 2 on a Saturday.

Great hotel! Only stayed two days on a road trip, wish we would have booked longer. It gets loud at night bc of the music at the bars but we liked the entertainment from our balcony. The connected restaurant was our favorite food of our trip. Awesome pool too!

We loved everything minus the loudness of the staff moving furniture at 6am every morning. It was incredibly loud. If you want to sleep in, this is not the place for that. Also, they need to invest in a pool heater. We were all so bummed we couldn't use the swim up bar, because it was too cold to get in. We had to go to Lazy Gators pool that had more sun.

The pool and hot tub were still open for Bike week which is a huge event ever year at this time. Zero bar tenders or bars were open by the pool area making it a chore to walk all the way back to resturant to order a drink for pool. Of course, they were open at night for the concert. I believe this was extremely poor planning by mgmt. Have at least one bar open with easy drinks near the pool. Also, free coffee at n the morning would be nice. Most upscale hotels offer free coffee.

For paying almost $200 for a room in the off-season, room was rather dirty. Lots of dust covering everything. The rim of the toilet had black all around it. The in room washer/dryer had mold and hair all around the door seal.The baseboard in the bathroom had paint bubbling from it. The hot tub was basically a regular bathtub with jets that did not have very good water pressure. The carpet in the hallway was very dirty and stained. Both of the elevators made a loud sound when the brakes released and started moving. I asked to move rooms because the person next to me was noisy and the lady at the desk acted all put out even though the place was basically empty that night. Why they stuck two different parties right next to each other when the place was empty is rather absurd. When I went to check out, I asked if the resort fee could be removed since I did not use any of the amenities. The lady did not directly answer my question, so I asked again. She got snippy with me, but ended up removing it. I still enjoyed my stay. It was a nice getaway, but obviously no one pays attention to detail in this place, especially housekeeping. The resort seems to cater towards party crowds who overlook most of the things I mentioned.

Room was quiet and the balcony provided a nice view. Cleanliness could be improved with mold under the toilet rim, exposed utensils covered in dust, and moisture damaged wall and baseboard from a leaking shower.

Well the hotel room itself was beautiful don’t get me wrong. The issue was I paid more for a jetted tub and I couldn’t use it. There was mold all over the tub. The cleanliness in the bathroom was terrible there was mold in the shower tiles. I took pictures and video as I was so disappointed. Would stay again if it was clean.

This facilities room probably is at the refurbishment stage. Room was large and spacious but everything was old. The Kleenex box had 2 Kleenex in it. The rim of the toilet bowl was dirty. Just not what we’re used to.

Camden on the Lake is gorgeous, aesthetically. It's a beautiful hotel/resort. We stayed in a jetted tub king suite w/ balcony on 6th floor, kitchen, bar, couches, 2 TV's, etc. It was swanky. It LOOKS clean. It isn't until hours later when you take your shoes off and realize "are those onions on the floor?" Sure enough, some rings of purple onion in the middle of the carpeted living room. Then we find someone's vape under the bed, some Jack Daniels bottlecaps under the dresser, food trash already in your trash can, and much more. The silverware in the drawer, a nice touch, would be nicer if it were clean. The jetted tub is amazing, but would be nicer if it filled up in less than 80 minutes and maybe still had hot water by the time you can get in. I could do without the stains in the tub, the hair, the dusty/grime film on the back ledge of the tub. The balcony is beautiful and spacious with great views, but the ash tray on the table is full of cigarette butts and ashes. I could do without that. Then I made the mistake of sitting on the side of the tub and glancing over toward the toilet, which allowed me to see under the top rim, and it's straight up BLACK with grime and dirt. We sat on that toilet thinking it was clean, and it was late in our stay before I saw how filthy it was. Trauma. Under the beautiful vanity in the bathroom, used qtips, dust, dirt, miscellaneous little scraps of things, just very obviously not swept or mopped recently.

Room was filthy. Black mold in the shower ceiling, blood stains on coverlet and floors were stained. Glasses and silverware were all dirty with no dish soap available. Wasps nests and spiderwebs on balcony made enjoying outdoor space impossible. Coffee pot in room did not have caffeinated coffee pods available. Loud band played until 1:00am nightly in spite of noise ordinance contract we signed upon checkin. Very disappointed in this stay. We were in an upgraded suite facing the lake.

Very quick stay. Just one night. The room was very nice and large. Great view of the lake from our room. The only issue was the bathroom. Booked this room because it had a jacuzzi tub. I wouldn’t step inside it. Very dirty and unclean. That was the only disappointment.

Terrible experience. We had booked a 2 night stay and left at 10pm the 2nd night when the live band started. They played the night before until 1am. So loud and ridiculous! At least have a disclaimer that says your hotel is connected to a bar that has loud rock bands playing until 1 am that hotel guests can hear and not get any sleep. Never again!!

The junior suite was a beautiful large room that is basically a condo! There was a stovetop and combo washer/dryer in the room! One of the best rooms we have stayed in even above the Ritz/Intercontentals! One of the best gift shops I have seen in a hotel.

Beautiful hotel very clean the only criticism I would have is if you stay in a room pool side, and have family or small children, you will not be able to sleep Friday or Saturday night because of the live music that plays till 1-1:30 in the morning. (Extremely loud.)

We had a great time our suite was beautiful butttt....they put us at the very end close to the band out in front of our balcony. I had 2 grand kids it was very loud up till 1:00 am so needless to say I didn't get any sleep, oh the kids can sleep through a tornado. Lol I was exhausted and the bed was perfect so sad I couldn't enjoy a good night's sleep. Please I recommend this place was awesome we will be back, but will request a room away from the loud music, and the loud partiers. Over all a 9 I give a ten but the band was too loud. All though they were a good band, great singer and musicians were a 10 wish I was younger. But back to bases, if you want rest and relaxation as I did.... Forget it at that end of the resort. Lesson learned very expensive listen 👂 lmbo they need partiers at that end not grandma's with children.

I had 2 grand kids it was very loud up till 1:00 am so needless to say I didn't get any sleep, oh the kids can sleep through a tornado. Lol I was exhausted and the bed was perfect so sad I couldn't enjoy a good night's sleep. Please I recommend this place was awesome we will be back, but will request a room away from the loud music, and the loud partiers. Over all a 9 I give a ten but the band was too loud. All though they were a good band, great singer and musicians were a 10 wish I was younger. But back to bases, if you want rest and relaxation as I did.... Forget it at that end of the resort. Lesson learned very expensive listen 👂 lmbo they need partiers at that end not grandma's with children.

The moment I walked in the lobby, I was greeted by a friendly front desk agent. Everything about the hotel was nice. I originally booked a studio room but was upgraded to a grand suite overlooking the lake. The room was spotless!!!!!!!!!!! The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed having a ceiling fan over the bed. I simply love this place and will be returning soon. If you get a chance to visit the lake of the Ozarks, go straight over to the Camden on the Lake Resort. I promise, it's worth every penny

Location is convient and offers close activity options. Most of the staff was nice. We went to the front desk about transportation options to surrounding bars. Was advised we could just walk or pay 20.00 a person for water taxi. Later found out there was actually a free shuttle bus. Our room was not completely clean, dirty dishes and smashed spiders. Pool day would have been better if DJ and staff were not going over politics. Really just wanted to relax and enjoy the time versus listening to the DJs beliefs.

Beautiful resort with everything you would need. Quite place to unwind on the balcony. It is a little ways from the main attractions, like the dam and Osage beach, but they are very easy to drive to. We wish we had more time and could have stayed a couple more days. We are a couple in the mid 50’s early 60’s

Great location. Room was excellent and far better than expected. The bar across from the hotel blared music until 2am. I would still recommend as the view and accommodations were very nice.

Camden is a lovely property right on the lake. It had an excellent location, and was easy to access everything—even in the off season. The room itself had some marks and dings where luggage had repeatedly hit walls and doors, and the fridge—but was clean and a nice space overall. Though you could see places where the hotel showed its age, the staff was working throughout the building to touch things up. They do not provide tea in your room—so bring your own if you’re a tea drinker. The tea in the lobby is overpriced at $4 for a small, FYI. Overall, a great stay!

We had a lakefront room on the 6th floor we were ten min from the Blue Cat Lounge/Alhonna Resort and twenty minutes from the Bagnell Dam Strip and H.Toads, Shady Gators and Lazy Gators were in walking distance. We travel a lot and this was one of the best resorts for the view!!

Beautiful, comfortable rooms. Two excellent employees, waiter, Luke, attentive and took care of what could have been a real problem with under cooked chicken he and management made it right. Also the Bartender Alex ( Female) who was at the pool one day and in Mr Toads another day, excellent customer service skills, made us feel at home. I will say the prices are high compared to surrounding restaurants and food quality is better elsewhere as well. But the drinks by Alex (female) was the best around.

Great hotel! Only stayed two days on a road trip, wish we would have booked longer. It gets loud at night bc of the music at the bars but we liked the entertainment from our balcony. The connected restaurant was our favorite food of our trip. Awesome pool too!

We didnt stay long enough to eat brkfst but we did have Burgers the night before we left and those burgers were awesome. The place was beautiful and the staff was helpful and polite. If we are ever in the area again make sure of it i will book again and a longer stay.

Very Nice hotel but not many OPTIONS FOR GOOD FOOD for it to be such a nice resort. Toads restaurant lacks taste & had to keep ordering food elsewhere unfortunately. The room was spacious and the gift shop was nice. The lake view scenery was beautiful.

Went to dinner with friends in restaurant. Main course dinners were left uneaten. Meat was too tuff to cut (prime rib). Pork chop was too fatty. Salads were great. Sides were good. Very disappointing. Wanted to stay on property for dinner.

Had a fabulous time though should be noted that nightly entertainments at both the hotel outside pavilion and nearby resorts can be heard often until 1 am even with hotel patio door closed.

The property is nice overall, and I liked the spacious rooms and mini kitchen. Unfortunately, our refrigerator would not stay cold. For the price, I expected better cleanliness and more updated amenities. The rooms do not have smart TVs, and only some include a washer/dryer combo. Cleanliness was my biggest issue. There were boogers on the wall, spider webs on the balcony, and water spots on the shower door. Housekeeping also did not change the linens or empty the trash, and there was still food in the bed from the night before. The pool area was another downside. It fills up early, and most of it remains shaded until after 1 PM, leaving guests crowded in the one sunny section. Overall, the property has potential, but the housekeeping, maintenance, and outdated amenities did not match the price.
