The hotel was under construction.

Let's start with the good stuff, location was only a few miles from Uptown where my business was. Check in staff was friendly, allowed me to check in before the official time. There was coffee and ice cold lemon water at the check in area, plenty of luggage carts, and a small drinks and snacks concession behind the desk. The price ($115) was great for an actual suite with a totally seperate bedroom and sitting/"kitchen" area, tv's in each, and plenty of room. Also while I did not use this service, there is an airport shuttle. Free breakfast was more than continental, biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, as well as waffles, fresh fruit, cereal, etc. Now the negatives- this is a classic 90's era Comfort Suites, when they were pretty sweet. Back in the day when they were a "Premium" brand, known for elevated facilities within the Choice Hotels branding (which includes Radisson and Cambria all the way down to Rodeway Inn), this was the place to stay. All the Comfort Suites had indoor pools (the one here permanently closed, idle and empty), shuttles to nearby airports or attractions (which this one has), etc. But this property has alot of overlooked maintenance beyond the closed pool area. Scratched and dented everywhere from public areas to rooms and curb appeal, the property just need a quick upgrade. Pool was not functioning, ice vending machine was not functioning on my floor. Facility was a bit dated

OK airport hotel for the price. No airport shuttle after midnight and only hourly during the day.

Website wasn’t clear about how the airport shuttle worked. Had to call the hotel to find out you need to request the shuttle; the shuttle doesn’t do loops to the airport

Called twice to get shuttle service from CLT, ended up with uber there by myself.

This was less than comfort! The room smelled horrible, the carpet was filthy and gross, and the curtains were disgusting. Overall, this place needs a serious upgrade and in the short term, a fumigation!

Exceptionally clean, drapes at window near bed was stained with looked like blood. Otherwise the room was spotless. Front desk staff members was professional, polite and well informed about the hotel and Charlotte. Hotel location is very secluded in a industrial area.

The staff on Thursday was Awesome! My room had blood splatter on the curtains.

This is an older property that need some updating. There were stains on the carpet and a nice sized hole in one of the curtains. The biggest issue that my husband did not like was having to pay for parking, which we have done in larger cities or at newer properties. The hotel overall served its purpose by giving us a place to sleep.

The staff was great and super helpful as I was traveling in the middle of a snow storm and was stuck in Charlotte. The hotel needs a lot of attention as everything was dingy (room's curtains were visibly dirty) and all of lobby, elevators and breakfast area need to be deep cleaned. The shower water never got hotter than lukewarm, the tub drain was broken, and all of the grout/caulk of the bathroom was dirty or in need of replacement.

it was absolutely disgusting. The rooms were far below standard; honestly, even a cheap motel would have been better. They were smelly, dirty, and I even found a spider on my sheet. For the condition of the place, they charge way too much. The only positive part of my stay was the young woman working at the front desk during the night shift her customer service was fantastic!

Upon entering, I found the room hadn't been cleaned and contained food left behind by the last guest.

i honestly don’t think i’ve ever left a bad review for a hotel and this wasn’t necessarily bad—it just was very sub par, the carpets in the rooms were nasty and stained, there was black hair in the bathroom, the the light in the room flickered so bad, the breakfast was not very good aside from the sausage, stale biscuits and luke warm eggs. the shuttle for the airport was nice and the room was very spacious, also the coffee and lemon water station in the lobby was a nice touch.

There is a nightclub behind the hotel and Friday through Sunday it is very loud. Enough so that you can hear it through the walls. In addition, if you rent a car you have to pay for parking, $12.00/night.

You can tell it was newly remodeled but still little things. Shower rod was falling out. Noise wasnt bad next to the hotel and airport. Breakfast was ok

Couldnt find my reservation even though the comfirmation was there. A reservation rhat was booked months ago. My husband and I were refused help and told to "call around." We were left stranded in an unknown city.

Other than our shuttle bus driver Rashawn who was great, our reception was terrible! Clearly the woman at reception just hates her job. So incredibly rude!

Due to a long layover at the airport I needed to check in at 7am and check out at 4pm. Leah at the front desk was helpful and accommodating. I appreciated being able to use the room during a nontraditional check in time. The shuttle drivers were friendly and helpful as well.

The desk staff was not helpful or friendly. Did not seem to want to be there. Requiring payment for parking is confusing and time consuming. Not a good look for the hotel. Not necessary and bad customer service. AI features in the room were clunky and hard to manage. Good old fashioned excellent service and features would have been better.

Ruth was excellent. Rashawn was great too. Person at desk this morning was less than willing to help when I had a ln obvious problem with my taxi. As a visitor is was disappointed in his lack of willingness to help.

Booked a queen room (2 beds) and sofa bed. Hotel is renovating which is fine. Upon checking in I was informed they overbooked queen rooms and had to down-grade us to double beds for the same price. They blamed it on Expedia. The lady was nonchalant about it all and quick to pass blame. The 6 of us were uncomfortable. Never again!

Easy access to airport, staff was super friendly and helpful

This was an overnight unexpected stay due to a flight delay. Shuttle driver in the evening was extremely kind, and she showed empathy to us with our delay. Shuttle driver in the morning was kind as well and promptly got us to the airport. Front Desk Reps were very service oriented and so understanding of our situation. The evening rep even gave us toothpaste’s & toothbrush as we had no toiletries with us. It was a frustrating situation for us but the staff understood and provided great customer service. We appreciated everyone!

The hotel location is horrible. There was a nightclub behind the hotel. You can’t see it in the daytime but you absolutely heard all the noise until 3 AM. My husband and I did not get a good night sleep.

Advertised they had a pool, the pool looked like an abandoned facility. Charging station in room didn’t work. Curtains didn’t close room was as bright as the Vegas strip. Orange juice at breakfast has mold in it. Had to pay for parking despite advertised as available. The explanation on Expedia of this property was not at all accurate.

The king bed we had was the most comfortable bed ever. We both loved it! Also you can’t beat the breakfast. Endless choices, very good. We would both recommend this hotel. Staff was also very friendly and responsive.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at—an old mattress, an abandoned pool, and the food was cold.

The breakfast was typical of “unhealthy” white flour waffles, sausage, overcooked eggs, ugh for grits. There was nothing I would eat except the orange or banana. I even used my own org teabag from home. The room was as described but no dishes or utensils if one wanted to use the microwave or eat.
