I stayed one night at the Residence Inn Seattle Bellevue/Downtown on September 11, 2026. The room is clean, the breakfast is good, and the staff are helpful, friendly and corteous. The issue is billing for the overnight parking. When I checked in, I was told that the overnight parking fee was $20.92. When I checked my credit card, there was one charge for $50.00 and another for $10.00. I disputed these charges as I believe that I should only be charged $20.92 for the overnight parking. Then I saw the email from the hotel with three invoices. One invoice, initialed ISL, was $20.92 for parking and $10.00 for bottled water. Another invoice, initialed VKA, was also $20.92 for parking. The third invoice, not initialed, was also $20.92. I realized then that I was being charged for the bottled water on the table in the room. OK - I understand. Times have changed. But if the bottled water had been in the fridge I would have understood that it wasn't free. Unfortunately, I wasted my time trying to figure out this billing error.

Breakfast is a joke. No side meat options (bacon, ham, sausage) yet they offer a large tray of steamed, pre-frozen veggies (carrots, cauliflower, and broccoli). That’s more a dinner side and doesn’t typically belong at a breakfast buffet. Everything was bland. Oatmeal was par-cooked and watery. Eggs were typically overcooked and gross.
