Wir sind absolut begeistert von unserem Aufenthalt. Der Service hier ist außergewöhnlich: Das Personal ist freundlich, herzlich und sehr aufmerksam. Das Zimmer war ein Musterbeispiel an Sauberkeit und Komfort, mit bequemen Betten und einem schönen Detail – der zweimal täglichen Zimmerreinigung. Das Frühstück ist fantastisch! Neben dem Buffet konnten wir kostenlos frisch gepressten Saft, individuell zubereitetes Omelett, Spiegelei oder pochiertes Ei bestellen und, was uns besonders freute, den Tag mit einem Prosecco beginnen. Das Hotel bietet einen ausgezeichneten SPA-Bereich und kostenlose Aktivitäten wie Yoga sowie Wein- und Ölverkostungen. Zur Lage: Das Hotel befindet sich in einem eher abgelegenen Teil der Insel. Der nächstgelegene Strand (15 Minuten Fahrt) hat uns nicht beeindruckt. Wer ein Auto hat, kann jedoch im Umkreis von einer Stunde Fahrt echte Juwelen entdecken – wir waren begeistert von der Stadt Sciacca und dem einsamen Strand zwischen La Pineta und La Solette.

Pros: The resort is beautiful and the employees are amazing! Incredibly friendly and always smiling, also providing nice suggestions. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished. Cons: The private beach is a nice touch, but it doesn’t look nor feel like the beach of a five star resort. It’s good to rent a car if you wish to explore the surroundings, as the nearest city is 10 minutes by car (or hotel shuttle, for which you need a reservation).

Soggiorno fantastico! Il personale, tutto, è gentilissimo. La spa, moderna e con diversi tipi di sauna e bagno turco, piscine per tutti i gusti, arredate e tenute in modo impeccabile, si può utilizzare senza limiti di tempo durante il soggiorno. Piscina esterna magnifica. Cibo ottimo. Colazione ricca varia e buonissima!!! Consigliato!

Richtig tolles Hotel an der Westküste Siziliens Schöne Gartenanlage, top Service, große Zimmer und neuer Spa. Der SPA und auch die Behandlungen sind sehr gut. Großes Frühstücksbuffet Restaurant ist ok aber nichts besonderes. Service top, Speisen teilweise nur "ok" Umgebung des Hotel eher weniger schön. Wir haben das Hotel mehrmals in alle Richtungen verlassen, können es aber nicht empfehlen. Sehr schmutzig, schlechte Straßen. Hotel hat einen Strandabschnitt mit Shuttle. Der einzig saubere Zugang zum Meer. Die öffentlichen Strände sind schlimm.

Fantastic hotel and service, staff are very friendly and professional. We had a great stay. We went at end of August 2025. Three minor comments on the property (1) the pool was very cold - too cold for our kids - would be good if there was temperature control (2) a regular shuttle into town would be good, we hired a car but if there was a regular shuttle on an evening it would be better; (3) the beach resort was a long way, I wouldn’t bother with this if I was managing the hotel - it was wasn’t worth the effort and again the shuttle times are extremely limited, would feel trapped down there without a car.

Die gleiche Speisekarte 1 Woche lang. Zu wenig Auswahl. Service des Restaurants geht nach dem Zufallsprinzip. Kein deutschsprachiges Hotel/Restaurant. In 1 Woche nur 2 × Abendunterhaltung (Musik). Liegt sehr abseits, keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Ohne PKW nicht zu empfehlen. Eher für Kurzaufenthalt von max. 3 Tagen geeignet, daher auch kaum Kleiderbügel vorhanden. Keine Handhalter in der Zimmerdusche. Strandbereich entspricht nicht einem 5 Sterne-Hotel und ist sehr enttäuschend

Could not recommend this hotel more! We had a week of serene relaxation. The hotel is slightly outside the nearest town and not connected by public transport but the hotel is well served by local taxi. Fabulous if you are looking for a relaxing escape! Staff were incredible - polite, friendly, helpful, diligent (the list goes on)! No ask was too big or too trivial and someone was always on hand to help out. We were slightly late in the season so the hotel was quiet (no bad thing) but still had plenty of activities on (walks and exercise classes etc.) and live music on some days with dinner. The rooms are large, clean and well serviced! The spa is phenomenal… we went almost everyday and my fiancée loved her back massage. The pool and beach equally as incredible. The beach is a 15/20 minute drive away on a shuttle service (only a couple of options but this may have been time of year) but this is comfortable and timely. Food and drink options are plentiful at seemingly all hours of the day and we very much enjoyed overindulging at the hotel restaurant. All in all, a very pleasant and enjoyable trip - would certainly return to Almar!

Rummen var generösa och fina. Toppen service och städning. Vi hade en super härlig vecka på Almar. Hotellet var toppen men i behov av lite små renovering. Mosaik som släppt i poolen, badrum som åldrats mm. Det finns ett litet gym som funkar men i minsta laget. Saknas yta för lösa vikter och stretch. Rummen var generösa och fina. Toppen service och städning. Stranden som tillhör hotellet ligger en bit bort. Bra med solbäddar men lite stenigt och inte så lätt att bada i. Frukostbuffén var superbra med massor att välja på.

Superba: qualsiasi altro aggettivo non renderebbe l’eccezionalità dell’esperienza che si vive in questa splendida struttura immersa nel silenzio. Personale accogliente e gentile, attento ad ogni esigenza del cliente. Le camere sono spaziose, confortevoli, pulite. Colazione ottima.

What a beautiful, grand, Italian hotel! Incredible value and impeccable service. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and nothing was a problem. We had a large, well appointed room with the most comfortable sofa bed for our son. The pool, spa and breakfast were all incredible too. And, bonus-there’s a beach club a short drive away with great food and sun loungers on a cute beach. Book this hotel, do not hesitate for a second. (There isn’t a lot around the hotel and the nearby town felt abandoned but, we were visiting in August when locals shut up shop and head to the beach themselves!)

Richtig tolles Hotel an der Westküste Siziliens Schöne Gartenanlage, top Service, große Zimmer und neuer Spa. Der SPA und auch die Behandlungen sind sehr gut. It's an impressive property: elegant but not obstentatious, with huge rooms, sitting areas and bathrooms. The minute we arrived the staff was extremely courteous and professional. Everyone acts and looks happy to work there. No detail went unnoticed. They gave us a nice desert and card to celebrate our anniversary. Our meals were delicious and a massage, was one of the best ever! I would book this again in a heart beat.

Rummen var generösa och fina. Toppen service och städning. Vi hade en super härlig vecka på Almar. Hotellet var toppen men i behov av lite små renovering. Mosaik som släppt i poolen, badrum som åldrats mm. Det finns ett litet gym som funkar men i minsta laget. Saknas yta för lösa vikter och stretch. Rummen var generösa och fina. Rigtigt dejligt hotel/spa med god service og mange faciliteter. Eneste udfordring er beliggenheden “in the middle of nowhere” hvilket betyder at vi valgte at blive på hotellet alle tre dage. Efter tre dage havde vi - helt naturligt - behov for nye omgivelser.

This is a beautiful resort outside of Mazaro del Vallo. We were only there one night at the end of the season so we didn't enjoy any of the big amenities like the pool. It's a ways outside of Mazaro, so if you are looking for a place in town, this isn't the place. But, it is a resort, and an absolutely beautiful one at that. The staff is exactly what you expect from a top resort. Super attentive, helpful in every way. We enjoyed our night there. Would recommend for those looking for a resort experience.

There were a lot of good things about this hotel the rooms were excellent and most staff were friendly and professional. My main complaints are about some staff conduct and the average food. Upon arrival there is a barrier for security purposes which is good. However when you pull up to the entrance there is no one to receive you and help with your bags. The initial reception I received from Maria was unfriendly which changed quickly but the damage was already done. The micro aggressions continued as I ordered lunch only to have the waiter stick his hand across my face twice to point out a menu option. It was clear aggression as he heard me say chicken salad loud and clear. I did not pay all that money to get poked in the face. I had to go to reception to suggest that they take a course in diversity. After that things improved but sadly at check out the aggression continued albeit with a fake charm. A male receptionist first insisted that I did not have a car at the hotel because he could not “find” the container that was right in front of him. Then he went to get the car and did not readjust the car seat to its original position. Finally the security barrier was not raised as we left with a consequential delay. Micro aggressions are by there nature are ambiguous but in hospitality you should not be questioning if you’re being treated disrespectfully. The staff I referenced let themselves down.

Fantastic hotel and service, staff are very friendly and professional. We had a great stay. We went at end of August 2025. Three minor comments on the property (1) the pool was very cold - too cold for our kids - would be good if there was temperature control (2) a regular shuttle into town would be good, we hired a car but if there was a regular shuttle on an evening it would be better; (3) the beach resort was a long way, I wouldn’t bother with this if I was managing the hotel - it was wasn’t worth the effort and again the shuttle times are extremely limited, would feel trapped down there without a car.

Could not recommend this hotel more! We had a week of serene relaxation. The hotel is slightly outside the nearest town and not connected by public transport but the hotel is well served by local taxi. Fabulous if you are looking for a relaxing escape! Staff were incredible - polite, friendly, helpful, diligent (the list goes on)! No ask was too big or too trivial and someone was always on hand to help out. We were slightly late in the season so the hotel was quiet (no bad thing) but still had plenty of activities on (walks and exercise classes etc.) and live music on some days with dinner. The rooms are large, clean and well serviced! The spa is phenomenal… we went almost everyday and my fiancée loved her back massage. The pool and beach equally as incredible. The beach is a 15/20 minute drive away on a shuttle service (only a couple of options but this may have been time of year) but this is comfortable and timely. Food and drink options are plentiful at seemingly all hours of the day and we very much enjoyed overindulging at the hotel restaurant. All in all, a very pleasant and enjoyable trip - would certainly return to Almar!

Das Hotel bietet einen ausgezeichneten SPA-Bereich und kostenlose Aktivitäten wie Yoga sowie Wein- und Ölverkostungen. Zur Lage: Das Hotel befindet sich in einem eher abgelegenen Teil der Insel. Der nächstgelegene Strand (15 Minuten Fahrt) hat uns nicht beeindruckt. Wer ein Auto hat, kann jedoch im Umkreis von einer Stunde Fahrt echte Juwelen entdecken – wir waren begeistert von der Stadt Sciacca und dem einsamen Strand zwischen La Pineta und La Solette.

Pros: The resort is beautiful and the employees are amazing! Incredibly friendly and always smiling, also providing nice suggestions. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished. Cons: The private beach is a nice touch, but it doesn’t look nor feel like the beach of a five star resort. It’s good to rent a car if you wish to explore the surroundings, as the nearest city is 10 minutes by car (or hotel shuttle, for which you need a reservation).

Rigtigt dejligt hotel/spa med god service og mange faciliteter. Eneste udfordring er beliggenheden “in the middle of nowhere” hvilket betyder at vi valgte at blive på hotellet alle tre dage. Efter tre dage havde vi - helt naturligt - behov for nye omgivelser.

What a beautiful, grand, Italian hotel! Incredible value and impeccable service. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and nothing was a problem. We had a large, well appointed room with the most comfortable sofa bed for our son. The pool, spa and breakfast were all incredible too. And, bonus-there’s a beach club a short drive away with great food and sun loungers on a cute beach. Book this hotel, do not hesitate for a second. (There isn’t a lot around the hotel and the nearby town felt abandoned but, we were visiting in August when locals shut up shop and head to the beach themselves!)

This is a beautiful resort outside of Mazaro del Vallo. We were only there one night at the end of the season so we didn't enjoy any of the big amenities like the pool. It's a ways outside of Mazaro, so if you are looking for a place in town, this isn't the place. But, it is a resort, and an absolutely beautiful one at that. The staff is exactly what you expect from a top resort. Super attentive, helpful in every way. We enjoyed our night there. Would recommend for those looking for a resort experience.

Richtig tolles Hotel an der Westküste Siziliens Schöne Gartenanlage, top Service, große Zimmer und neuer Spa. Der SPA und auch die Behandlungen sind sehr gut. Großes Frühstücksbuffet Restaurant ist ok aber nichts besonderes. Service top, Speisen teilweise nur "ok" Umgebung des Hotel eher weniger schön. Wir haben das Hotel mehrmals in alle Richtungen verlassen, können es aber nicht empfehlen. Sehr schmutzig, schlechte Straßen. Hotel hat einen Strandabschnitt mit Shuttle. Der einzig saubere Zugang zum Meer. Die öffentlichen Strände sind schlimm.

Fantastic hotel and service, staff are very friendly and professional. We had a great stay. We went at end of August 2025. Three minor comments on the property (1) the pool was very cold - too cold for our kids - would be good if there was temperature control (2) a regular shuttle into town would be good, we hired a car but if there was a regular shuttle on an evening it would be better; (3) the beach resort was a long way, I wouldn’t bother with this if I was managing the hotel - it was wasn’t worth the effort and again the shuttle times are extremely limited, would feel trapped down there without a car.

Could not recommend this hotel more! We had a week of serene relaxation. The hotel is slightly outside the nearest town and not connected by public transport but the hotel is well served by local taxi. Fabulous if you are looking for a relaxing escape! Staff were incredible - polite, friendly, helpful, diligent (the list goes on)! No ask was too big or too trivial and someone was always on hand to help out. We were slightly late in the season so the hotel was quiet (no bad thing) but still had plenty of activities on (walks and exercise classes etc.) and live music on some days with dinner. The rooms are large, clean and well serviced! The spa is phenomenal… we went almost everyday and my fiancée loved her back massage. The pool and beach equally as incredible. The beach is a 15/20 minute drive away on a shuttle service (only a couple of options but this may have been time of year) but this is comfortable and timely. Food and drink options are plentiful at seemingly all hours of the day and we very much enjoyed overindulging at the hotel restaurant. All in all, a very pleasant and enjoyable trip - would certainly return to Almar!

Soggiorno fantastico! Il personale, tutto, è gentilissimo. La spa, moderna e con diversi tipi di sauna e bagno turco, piscine per tutti i gusti, arredate e tenute in modo impeccabile, si può utilizzare senza limiti di tempo durante il soggiorno. Il cibo pessimo , solo la colazione si salvava altrimenti bisognava ordinare fuori menù con cifre astronomiche. Poi anche la reception non è stata corretta a non avvertire che il loro lido di Costanza non fosse utilizzabile , perché l’abbiamo scoperto solo una volta arrivati in hotel nonostante avessimo chiamato pochi giorni prima per sapere gli orari della navetta per il lido

Rummen var generösa och fina. Toppen service och städning. Vi hade en super härlig vecka på Almar. Hotellet var toppen men i behov av lite små renovering. Mosaik som släppt i poolen, badrum som åldrats mm. Det finns ett litet gym som funkar men i minsta laget. Saknas yta för lösa vikter och stretch. Rummen var generösa och fina. Hotellet är jättefint, trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Gratis parkering. Väldigt fin pool och poolområde, snyggt och rent, när vi var där så fanns det gott om utrymme, kändes aldrig crowded. Solstolar och parasoll fanns till alla. Det finns en shuttle ner till beachen som man bokar gratis. Stranden är ingen jättehöjdare men ok om man vill doppa sig i havet. Det finns även där solstolar och parasoll till alla. Vi har haft hyrbil och tagit en del dagsturer, besökte San Vito Loco, där kan man snacka fin beach och turkost vatten. Tar ca 1 h 30 min med bil från hotellet. Bra sängar på hotellrummet, vi gillar ju lite hårdare sängar så för oss var de bra. Spa avdelningen är också fin, bra bastu, kallbad. Gymmet är ok med två löpband, lite hantlar och maskiner, lite trångt men det funkar. Frukosten är ok inget jätteutbud men man har det man behöver, man måste be om Apelsinjuice och kaffe. Jag bad också om stekta ägg gillar inte den typen av scrambled som serverades. Melonerna var jättegoda. Frukostmiljön är jättefin när man sitter ute med mycket grönt omkring sig. Vi hade bokat fyra nätter, men stannade tre till, vi gillade pool området så mycket och trivdes i miljön på hotellet.

Tar ca 1 h 30 min med bil från hotellet. Bra sängar på hotellrummet, vi gillar ju lite hårdare sängar så för oss var de bra. Spa avdelningen är också fin, bra bastu, kallbad. Gymmet är ok med två löpband, lite hantlar och maskiner, lite trångt men det funkar. Frukosten är ok inget jätteutbud men man har det man behöver, man måste be om Apelsinjuice och kaffe. Jag bad också om stekta ägg gillar inte den typen av scrambled som serverades. Melonerna var jättegoda. Frukostmiljön är jättefin när man sitter ute med mycket grönt omkring sig. Vi hade bokat fyra nätter, men stannade tre till, vi gillade pool området så mycket och trivdes i miljön på hotellet.

Real 5 star hotel. Amazing pool area, and above of that, the Spa was faboulous included in the price. The staff and service was amazing. Frequent cleaning service. Everything was super clean. We wished the breakfast would be till 11 so we could have rest in the morning, and the variety of breakfast could be better. Thanks to the team!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was excellent, and the level of service was outstanding from start to finish. It’s rare to find a hotel that truly goes the extra mile, both in terms of hospitality and in creating such a beautiful, classic setting with a genuine feeling of luxury. The food at the hotel was also excellent and exceeded our expectations. The beach is a little further away, but since we had a car, it wasn’t an issue at all. The nearby town itself isn’t particularly charming, but that didn’t affect our stay as there are many beautiful places to explore within a short drive. If you enjoy playing padel, there’s also a great club just 3 km from the hotel, with three outdoor courts and two covered courts.
