Parking lot was well lit for safety and security. The location has recently underwent a renovation with new painted walls, new vinyl plank flooring and baseboard trim in the room and hallways, new furniture and bedding. Our only negative comment was the mattress. I believe it is brand new and extremely firm/hard. Which made it difficult to get a uninterrupted night of sleep.

This was one of the cleanest motels in which I’ve stayed, and I’ve stayed in 100s of motels. The place is excellent if a person is looking to get a few hours of sleep before hitting the road. It’s no frills, but also well kempt. The only knock, and it could’ve been an anomaly, is that the shower was quite cold. Otherwise, this was excellent.

Stayed for two nights. It is an older motel. They have remodeled the rooms and got the most bang for the buck. They take two pets for no extra fees! The outside is a bit plain but it is in a safe area just off I 74. Good for money.

I've had mixed experiences with Motel 6 -- but I liked this one very much and don't hesitate to recommend it to others. It looks a little faded on the outside (I think the blue paint has faded, but maybe that's just Motel 6's shade of blue), and the front entrance pillars have been clipped by cars. On the inside, everything is clean, fresh, and well-maintained. The front desk people (over the course of my week's stay, I think I dealt with 3-4 different people there) were all very friendly and helpful. My room (and bathroom) were large, clean, and well-maintained. The location is not scenic - it's at a busy Interstate intersection - but it is convenient for travelers and traveling. Overall - it's a basic / budget motel, but it's very well done.

It seems that the property is in remodelation, I hope so… the building is old and in much need of basic maintenance. The lobby and main entrance have a bad old dirty carpet smell. WIFI doesn’t work. The rooms are remodeled and clean, the amenities there are good. Great beds and no carpet rooms. I wish they offer a good coffee bar. There was coffee but is not even appealing to check it out 😔

We had to stay here. The prices were all exorbitant for the move in weekend and it was the cheapest we could find. It smelled like weed. The bathroom had stains all around tub and the towels had thin stands of thread. It was one night but couldn’t wait to leave.

Excellent firm king size bed, one of the best I've ever had in a motel. Room was perfectly clean. Beyond that, the room and amenities were bare bones: minimal furniture, no decorations, no coffee maker, facial tissues, clock, but there was a fridge and microwave and TV and the price was right!

Motel 6 is a place where I can go and be comfortable and I think is the only motel left to where you still are able to smoke. The staff is very nice considerate and they remember their customers no matter how long it's been since you've visited.

One morning a man who I could not understand was yelling through the door for me to open the door. It made me want to call the police because I didn't understand him and was unaware he worked at the hotel. When I said I din't understand him, he lost his mind and started screaming for me to open the door. It was intimidating and wildly innapropriate for an employee of the hotel to do.

I went to check out after my one-night stay. At that time the receptionist at the desk told me that she had to go inspect the room. I had no problem with that but I was patiently waiting for my deposit money of $50. She returned to the lobby and told me that another floor attendant was going to inspect the room. That person then calls to tell her there was some type of thing on the sheets and she asked me did I spill something or did I have some coffee. I had to tell her that personally I passed gas and the stain that was on the sheets was from an accidental bowel movement. It was a little bit embarrassing to have to explain something when I don't drink coffee but that was personal of what happened and to assure her that what it was several times and it will come out when it's washed. I've never had an experience like that and all the days and years that I have stayed at hotels around the world. I feel humiliated when I had to explain something of an accident to that magnitude.

However, this is by far the most expensive Motel 6 I have ever stayed at (and I've stayed at many, all across the country). I did a quick check for their price at random times of the year, and it was generally 50% more than most other Motel 6. There were a couple of major local events the week I was there, and their price was more than triple the typical Motel 6 cost. A little increase because of increased demand is understandable, but $240/night for such a basic motel is unconscionable.

We were pleasantly surprised at how clean and updated our room was. Looks like it is family run with people who care. They were very friendly, offering to open the lobby door when I had two cups of coffee to take out.

Guy with a loud air compressor at 6 this morning outside my window was annoying. Area not the best. Have to put down a $50 deposit for damages and they refund account. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pleasant service.

Walking into the hotel it smelled like weed and there is a sign in the lobby that tells you how to prevent sex trafficking. The lobby was boarded up with ply wood. There were people coming in and out at all times of the night. Did not feel safe

It seems that the property is in remodelation, I hope so… the building is old and in much need of basic maintenance. The lobby and main entrance have a bad old dirty carpet smell. WIFI doesn’t work. The rooms are remodeled and clean, the amenities there are good. Great beds and no carpet rooms. I wish they offer a good coffee bar. There was coffee but is not even appealing to check it out 😔

This property is normally $50-$60 a night. They charged us $450 a night because it was graduation weekend. no hairdryer no iron no ironing board no coffee in the room. That said the people were lovely and the room was clean.

Extremely friendly hotel staff. Seems family run. Exceptionally clean. Seems recently updated. Pet friendly. Love laminate flooring instead of carpeting in rooms, which makes it much cleaner and no stink like carpets can have. Nothing fancy but it's high value. Great strong coffee.

Booked one day. Ended up extending our stay five times and staying there a week. It is no frills. But everything is always clean and the free morning coffee is always hot and available. The manager, and all his staff, were always friendly and professional. It was no fun being unexpectedly stuck in a hotel. But, this place exceed all of my expectations.

Excellent firm king size bed, one of the best I've ever had in a motel. Room was perfectly clean. Beyond that, the room and amenities were bare bones: minimal furniture, no decorations, no coffee maker, facial tissues, clock, but there was a fridge and microwave and TV and the price was right!

We were pleasantly surprised at how clean and updated our room was. Looks like it is family run with people who care. They were very friendly, offering to open the lobby door when I had two cups of coffee to take out.

Coming from NJ, it was so nice to walk in and be greeted by happy people. In a place I have never been, it was a relief to come across the really wonderful staff inside who were also considerate and personable. The gentleman help me carry my bag upstairs. The water pressure was really nice compared to other places I have stayed, the room was clean and check out was very easy. Thank you guys so much!

It's not fancy, but for the price, this place provides a clean, comfortable room. I've stayed here numerous times for work and my experience has matched hotels that are two and three times the cost. The rooms, hallways and lobby is clean and neat. The staff is friendly. There is no breakfast or pool or things of that nature, but it is right off of the highway, easy to get to, and just fine for a good night's rest.
