Any question I had was answered, every problem solved, and the customer service was amazing. The process was simple and smooth from check in to check out. I wish they had more parking space but I understand they have to work with what they have.

We loved the location of the Wellborn, not on a main street, but within walking distance to great restaurants and bars and Lake Eola Park. The property is very charming. We stayed in the pink building, which is very Art Deco. The furniture was sparse, but the bed was extremely comfortable. The only complaint is that our bedroom windows face the patio, with lights strung across it and in the trees, making it a well-lit area, but the lights remain on even after the bar/restaurant closes at 1 a.m. There are no blackout curtains or shades, only plantation shutters so the light filters through and can be disturbing.

Great, central location. If you go in prepared for it to be a little noisy due to the bar on location, you'll be fine! Great atmosphere in and around the location! Great alternative to a traditional hotel! Would stay again if needed!

Great location. Took my daughter to two concerts in the downtown Orlando area. This place was easy to find, had easy parking and even a restaurant/bar in the back. I downloaded the app and the check in/checkout process was super easy. Even better was the fact that I didn’t have to worry about losing a key. It’s all in the app.

This is a hidden gem tucked away across a beautiful lake.The rooms are roomy,beautiful clean and the landscaping is great. The patio tapas bar has a unique lay out and very relaxing.The music is a vibe ,just know the lights outside come into uour room but they have beautiful wooden blinds to keep them out if it bothers you .No avoiding the music from outside but thank goodness its good .lol They provide ear plugs if needed. Looking forward to a return trip.

After reading some reviews on line, we were pleasantly surprised with the entire property. Our room was very nice, we didn't expect how updated everything was. The kitchen area was great, the bathroom was great and the bed, although a little hard was fine. The surprise was just outside the back door. It opened to the beautiful courtyard of the restaurant/ bar . It was amazing...... We had a great meal with drinks and the atmosphere was great. The music did not bother us at all when it was time for bed. Our granddaughter got married at the venue next door, so our location allowed us to walk to and from there. Also, the parking was great, we parked just outside our room. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The property and rooms are so adorably vintage. Be aware that this property is similar to a vacation rental, so there is no front desk nor constant staff on-site. We ran into a little issue because we arrived before our check-in time and needed a place to store our bags. While the app suggests using Bounce, it was hard to figure out where that was and, when we did, the closest place was over a mile away. Fortunately, we were able to reach a hotel staff member through the Sonder app who was very helpful and accommodating. The bar/restaurant on the property, the Wellborn, is delightful, with awesome cocktails and shared plates. Still, they kept reiterating that they were "not associated" with the hotel when we asked for assistance, which is confusing because the signs all say "Sonder Wellborn." It's a happening spot that was pretty noisy until late, but the acoustic treatment and earplugs provided by the hotel allowed us to get a restful night's sleep.

This was a great little hotel in a converted house. The staff was super friendly and helpful. There does need to be some updating to the property. My biggest complaint is the parking. There is a small parking area in front of house which is clearly marked for Sonder Wellborn registered guests only. This is not enforced as patrons to the restaurant / bar in back of the property tend to take the spots.

The bar/courtyard right outside the bedroom window is cranking music past midnight every night. I should have know it was going to be bad when they supply ear plugs on the night stand. The property description says there could be noise due to construction but says nothing about the bar out back. Couldn’t get any sleep and they wouldn’t let me check out a day early to find a quieter place to stay. I will not be staying at any Sonder hotels again, especially this one. On top of the noise, the pictures are misleading on what the room looks like. Carpets are all stained and the bed is falling apart. Spiders all in the bathroom as well. The only thing this place had going for itself is the price.

The property was cute, and the area seemed pretty safe. There was a considerable fee if we wanted the room cleaned during our stay, but we were able to request extra towels through the app without fuss. The suite was spacious, with decent size mini fridge in kitchen area, a comfy pull-out in living room, and a nice shower (although the water took a long time to heat up). That said, it was pretty stripped down (noticeably scuffed floors, wire rack shelving stacked with a couple books for decor, a TV that you can use for casting but isn't hooked up to cable or anything) and there were quite a few ants (bedroom, living room and bathroom). For a group just visiting for a concert looking for a cheaper downtown option this worked really well, if I was traveling for a work event, I might look for something a little higher end.

We had a lovely two night stay, no issues with noise on Saturday night. Accommodations were very nice and clean. Good location central to downtown and easy access to the highway to move around Orlando. We will definitely stay again!!

I booked this hotel for my family from out of town. From the first impression, the photographs of the room were different from the room we actually received. There were stains on the carpet and the windows appeared to have mold (not sure if it was coming from the outside or inside). If you are a light sleeper, there was music playing from the bar/restaurant downstairs every night. The bathroom was pretty clean and the layout was very modern. There is no ice/water for the rooms. The main building had some extra towels/toiletries that you can grab yourself. There is no staff working at the front desk area and everything is done on the app. On our third day, we were locked out of the room from the door getting stuck. We waited for 20 minutes in the main lobby area while the staff was texting me. The call number in the app doesn't even ring. They advised us to try to pull the handle and push the door open. We waited for the staff member to arrive and they didn't replace the door hinge. They just screwed it into the door that already has an existing crack. At the rates they charge, you might as well stay in a real hotel where you can interact with a human being.

Over all I would say it was fair. It was clean except bathroom sink looked like it hadnt been cleaned in a while. It was a handicap room so there was no door on bedroom to bathroom. So if you needed to go and someone was sleeping they could see and hear you. There was no basic cable tv actually the only tv you could get was if you casted your phone or ipad. instructions were wrong also. There was no bottled water or any machines to purchase any. It was rather noisy since it was next to the freeway. The one nice thing was the Wellborn restaurant next door.

I overall enjoyed my stay at the Wellborn. Everything was very well organized, tidy, and I really felt at home from the moment I walked in. It was also great to have a full restaurant a matter of steps away from the room. A couple areas of improvement could be some additional counter space in the bathroom and minimizing the noise from guests in their designated rooms. I heard a lot of random thumping in the middle of the night from people above me. But all in all, I would stay at the Wellborn once more in the future.

I unfortunately had a poor experience. I stayed at the property in 2021 for 7 weeks and loved it and have recommended it to everyone. With that being said I was excited to come back this past weekend and did not expect the following. I woke up my first night itching and assumed it was allergies. I then learned the next day that there were fleas in the bed (which I took videos and pictures of) and they bit me all over the place. I got fresh linens and ended up sleeping on the couch where I woke up with bugs on my skin, the new linens & the couch. Which leaves me to assume they’re either on the furniture or the carpet. I then realized the fleas infected my bag that was open and on the floor and my clothes had fleas jumping on and off them. I checked out and the next day had to go to urgent care because the bites were so inflamed and painful and caused an allergic reaction and require steroid treatment. Beautiful property and very convenient amenities but clearly they have a serious bug issue. Not sure I can trust to stay there again.

The room was clean but it’s a very old building. I believe there was an old apartments complex so they renovated it’s a lot of plants around it that is what it made it looks dirt a lot of animals and flies, mosquitoes, ants and spiders I don’t like them lol

We love the property. Only problems I had were the courtyard music went until midnight. Also since the bathroom has a glass wall that is shared by the bedroom. The bedroom gets fairly bright when you turn the light on in the middle of the night.

We got a huge room with a gigantic bath for a very modest price. Since this is a historic property with different room configurations, the results may vary. The directions that guests get to their rooms were fairly clear, but i think food delivery drivers are a bit baffled by the building labeling and numbering. Not a big detractor at all but something to be aware of.

First time staying here and won’t be my last. Perfect location right downtown by the Dr Philip’s Center. The room was huge. Seems to be an apartment converted into a hotel room. Furniture wasn’t fancy but it looks nice and does its job. The kitchenette was great to have for snacks and drinks. It also has glasses, plates, silverware, minifridge & a microwave. Free off street parking. Beautiful courtyard to grab a drink or a bite. Only thing I had to get used to was using my phone as the key for the room. Would definitely recommend. Looking forward to staying there again.

First time staying here and won’t be my last. Perfect location right downtown by the Dr Philip’s Center. The room was huge. Seems to be an apartment converted into a hotel room. Furniture wasn’t fancy but it looks nice and does its job. The kitchenette was great to have for snacks and drinks. It also has glasses, plates, silverware, minifridge & a microwave. Free off street parking. Beautiful courtyard to grab a drink or a bite. Only thing I had to get used to was using my phone as the key for the room. Would definitely recommend. Looking forward to staying there again.

The room was nice and clean. The TV didn't have cable and was not told that. There was no kitchen even though there were dishes. Pictures I saw of the room was not necessarily of the room I got so was very misleading. Will not rent again.

This is a nice, clean apartment located close to downtown Orlando. The check in process was easy. The only negative is it is located close to a heavily traveled road so there is a lot of noise at night. In addition the lights in the courtyard stay on all night and keep the bedroom brightly lit all night. If you don't need quiet or darkness to sleep this hotel is a good choice.

The history of this property was very interesting. Very clean, and the convenience of the bar in the back yard was amazing, easy to order, great service, and a very warm feeling environment. The lights from outside came through the shutters over the windows and the bedroom was never dark. If you like to sleep with a lamp or light on then you would love it. The venue next door had a wedding going on all night and the noise was heard all night long, literally like having a loud radio in the room. The bed is extra firm, and the pullout couch mattress springs left actual bruises. Other than the sleeping issues we enjoyed our trip and the time here.

Any question I had was answered, every problem solved, and the customer service was amazing. The process was simple and smooth from check in to check out. I wish they had more parking space but I understand they have to work with what they have.

WORST NIGHT EVER IN A HOTEL. There is NO STAFF. All check in had to be electronic, after an hour on the phone finally got into room, no TV unless you hook your phone up and stream your own service, left room for dinner had to wait an hour on phone to get new code to get back into room, COLD SHOWERS. Worst experience of my life. Hand cut and bleeding from trying to open door using thier instructions.

Great location. Took my daughter to two concerts in the downtown Orlando area. This place was easy to find, had easy parking and even a restaurant/bar in the back. I downloaded the app and the check in/checkout process was super easy. Even better was the fact that I didn’t have to worry about losing a key. It’s all in the app.

The initial room I was booked into had a broken AC. The Sonder team worked until 11:30pm at night until they managed to find me an alternate suite in their fully booked facilities, rather than leave me sweltering in the FL heat. They were helpful, friendly, empathetic, offered prompt solutions, and the personal touches (like the handwritten welcome note left for me in my room!) made me feel right at home. This will be my go-to for all future Orlando trips!

I like it here but I tend to like Sonder properties. There were some issues with getting into my room and it was late when I got into town, and I did have to wait like 30 minutes before the person on the phone (there are no employees on site) was able to get me in, but other than that I had a solid stay and the interior is very eclectic. I also like that they feature Davines skincare in their units. If they iron out the technical issues it would be great! The Wellborn restaurant is a big plus because you can get good drinks and bites right there on the property.

Property is historic and beautiful. We love the courtyard and the restaurant is quaint. There were plumbing issues while we were there. The tv did not work. The bathroom door didn’t lock. We had difficulty contacting for assistance and gave up because it was only one night.

The property and rooms are so adorably vintage. Be aware that this property is similar to a vacation rental, so there is no front desk nor constant staff on-site. We ran into a little issue because we arrived before our check-in time and needed a place to store our bags. While the app suggests using Bounce, it was hard to figure out where that was and, when we did, the closest place was over a mile away. Fortunately, we were able to reach a hotel staff member through the Sonder app who was very helpful and accommodating. The bar/restaurant on the property, the Wellborn, is delightful, with awesome cocktails and shared plates. Still, they kept reiterating that they were "not associated" with the hotel when we asked for assistance, which is confusing because the signs all say "Sonder Wellborn." It's a happening spot that was pretty noisy until late, but the acoustic treatment and earplugs provided by the hotel allowed us to get a restful night's sleep.

Clean. I was in a spacious suite, with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living room. Mostly comfortable (to me it felt a little warm in the suite, but it was hot outside, and I'm accustomed to the much cooler NY temps). It took a minute for the water to warm up in the shower, but it did eventually get hot. With the bar in back, I could hear the noise while in the kitchen or bathroom, but with the bedroom door closed, all I could hear were sounds from the nearby highway and the occasional plane, neither of which were loud enough to keep me awake. There were earplugs in the room for those more sensitive to sound, but I didn't need them. Within walking distance of restaurants and the Amway Center. I'd gladly stay here again next time I'm in Orlando!

We loved the location of the Wellborn, not on a main street, but within walking distance to great restaurants and bars and Lake Eola Park. The property is very charming. We stayed in the pink building, which is very Art Deco. The furniture was sparse, but the bed was extremely comfortable. The only complaint is that our bedroom windows face the patio, with lights strung across it and in the trees, making it a well-lit area, but the lights remain on even after the bar/restaurant closes at 1 a.m. There are no blackout curtains or shades, only plantation shutters so the light filters through and can be disturbing.

We had a lovely two night stay, no issues with noise on Saturday night. Accommodations were very nice and clean. Good location central to downtown and easy access to the highway to move around Orlando. We will definitely stay again!!

Very cute place.. like old fashioned style but super nice and Sonder chat employees are highly respectful and responsible and helpful 24/7 And the location is great (right next to downtown) and the parking 🅿️ is free. Publix and cafes, shops, banks and museums, theaters are 5-10min walking distance from Sonder Wellborn

This place has kind of an art deco vibe, yet restored with meticulous attention to current amenities. The adjacent Wellborn courtyard has an almost magical evening ambiance. Given the proximity to downtown, transportation is simple and inexpensive for even the moderately adventurous.

Great, central location. If you go in prepared for it to be a little noisy due to the bar on location, you'll be fine! Great atmosphere in and around the location! Great alternative to a traditional hotel! Would stay again if needed!

This is a hidden gem tucked away across a beautiful lake.The rooms are roomy,beautiful clean and the landscaping is great. The patio tapas bar has a unique lay out and very relaxing.The music is a vibe ,just know the lights outside come into uour room but they have beautiful wooden blinds to keep them out if it bothers you .No avoiding the music from outside but thank goodness its good .lol They provide ear plugs if needed. Looking forward to a return trip.

After reading some reviews on line, we were pleasantly surprised with the entire property. Our room was very nice, we didn't expect how updated everything was. The kitchen area was great, the bathroom was great and the bed, although a little hard was fine. The surprise was just outside the back door. It opened to the beautiful courtyard of the restaurant/ bar . It was amazing...... We had a great meal with drinks and the atmosphere was great. The music did not bother us at all when it was time for bed. Our granddaughter got married at the venue next door, so our location allowed us to walk to and from there. Also, the parking was great, we parked just outside our room. I would highly recommend this hotel.

My only disappointment was that we were only staying for 1 night. What a gem of a hotel. I had no idea of what we were getting when I blocked it. I was just looking for something close to the amway center. This hotel is in a quaint old house with individual rooms upstairs.. our room had a balcony that looked over the restaurant with music and beautiful landscape and lighting. It is also only a 10 minute walk to the Dr Phillips Center for Performing Arts I will definitely stay here again anytime I will be at the Amway Center or Dr Phillips Center

Nao sei como começar essa avaliação, com tantos problemas, mas vamos lá: (1) reserva - uma vez que você confirma a reserva eles mandam baixar um app no seu celular para confirmar a reserva. Se ficarei uma vez na propriedade (e no meu caso pretendo não retornar), para que baixar esse app??; (2) não deixam claro que não recebem pacotes. Eu tinha algumas encomendas feitas (antes de receber o email dizendo que tinha que baixar o app) e tive muitos problemas em recebê-las. Em um dos pacotes tive que acionar o seguro pois tive a mercadoria extraviada; (3) se vce deixar qualquer coisa na bancada, ela será invadida por milhares de pequenas formigas. Heloooo, será que a desinsetização está em ida?; (4) O pavimento do estacionamento de hóspedes é feito de pequenas pedras que (a) esqueça se alguem estiver de salto alto (b) o pó subirá pela barra de suas calças. Já disse que o local é muito mal iluminado?

Em um dos pacotes tive que acionar o seguro pois tive a mercadoria extraviada; (3) se vce deixar qualquer coisa na bancada, ela será invadida por milhares de pequenas formigas. Heloooo, será que a desinsetização está em ida?; (4) O pavimento do estacionamento de hóspedes é feito de pequenas pedras que (a) esqueça se alguem estiver de salto alto (b) o pó subirá pela barra de suas calças. Já disse que o local é muito mal iluminado?

Any question I had was answered, every problem solved, and the customer service was amazing. The process was simple and smooth from check in to check out. I wish they had more parking space but I understand they have to work with what they have.

We loved the location of the Wellborn, not on a main street, but within walking distance to great restaurants and bars and Lake Eola Park. The property is very charming. We stayed in the pink building, which is very Art Deco. The furniture was sparse, but the bed was extremely comfortable. The only complaint is that our bedroom windows face the patio, with lights strung across it and in the trees, making it a well-lit area, but the lights remain on even after the bar/restaurant closes at 1 a.m. There are no blackout curtains or shades, only plantation shutters so the light filters through and can be disturbing.

Soweit war alles okay. Beim check-in hat der Code nicht funktioniert. Auf dem Tastaturfeld klemmte die 0. Mit dem mobile key hat es auch nicht immer funktioniert, habe immer wieder mehrere Anläufe gebraucht. An für sich war der Aufenthalt okay. Die Musik von der Bar hat mich nicht so sehr gestört, ehr das rumgekreische. Aus der Dusche ist das Wasser ins Zimmer gelaufen. Hatte das aber erst später bemerkt Von der Unterkunft ist man schnell in Downtown

The property and rooms are so adorably vintage. Be aware that this property is similar to a vacation rental, so there is no front desk nor constant staff on-site. We ran into a little issue because we arrived before our check-in time and needed a place to store our bags. While the app suggests using Bounce, it was hard to figure out where that was and, when we did, the closest place was over a mile away. Fortunately, we were able to reach a hotel staff member through the Sonder app who was very helpful and accommodating. The bar/restaurant on the property, the Wellborn, is delightful, with awesome cocktails and shared plates. Still, they kept reiterating that they were "not associated" with the hotel when we asked for assistance, which is confusing because the signs all say "Sonder Wellborn." It's a happening spot that was pretty noisy until late, but the acoustic treatment and earplugs provided by the hotel allowed us to get a restful night's sleep.
