Super 8 by Wyndham Wichita North

Looks like this property has more tenants living there than customers. The water is Luke warm for bathing.

Staff was very unprofessional using fowl language with other staff. My husband had to wait until they finished up their inappropriate conversation before they would even acknowledge him to check in. We had blood stains on our walls. Hotel is very run down for a Wyndham. Dogs barking and whinny by the entry way. The side door security badge didnt work. Would not recommend it nor stay here again.

The door was open, the saftey latch on inside was missing cause the door had been kicked in. Turned on light and seen cockroach on mirror. Also had note at check in and doors that water would be shut off for an hour 11pm- 12am. Lots of people just hanging out and coming/going. The front desk guy was really nice. Offered to show a new room but just got a refund and stayed at motel right by that was 1000 times better.

The hotel room has no trash cans and lights flickered and the bedding had holes in it. Went to ask for more towels and only gave us small little towels and said that’s all they could give. The fire alarm went off at 1 in the morning. People were fighting around 2 in the morning then knocking on the doors. People getting arrested in the lobby.

Staff were super nice and helpful. We couldn't use the side entrance because the lock was broken, but it wasn't too inconvenient to use the main entrance. Overall a fantastic place to stay.

Walked into the lobby and it smelled like marijuana smoke. There were 2 scummy looking guys sleeping on the sofas in the lobby. Waited about 20 minutes for the clerk to show up at the desk and check me in. My bath towels had stains on them. There were a lot of homeless guys walking around the parking lot and inside the hotel. Over all this is just a creepy hotel. If you are an average middle income person you will feel very out of place here.

Rough condition. Lots of people just “hanging out”.

This hotel has no business being on Hotels.com. It provides HUD/monthy housing for the area's local drug addicts and prostitutes. It Claims to be a non smoking facility but is riddled with the smell of meth, pot, and cigarettes. The room we were given was on the 3rd floor, but told none of the elevators worked. After entering the room it was discovered the TV was not functioning and the phone was disconnected. The only redeeming quality at the facility was the hotel clerk, who gladly refunded our money and apologized profusely about the condition of the facility. We traveled 9 hours by car and arrived at 2 am. We were ready to get some sleep but had to drive around and find another hotel. Absolutely ridiculous. Never experienced anything like that before from any hotel on you app.

If you want to smoke pot, ask for the second floor because that’s what the entire floor smells like. We had no toilet paper at all. Toilet nearly overflowed and was clogged. Couldn’t even run to the lobby to use their restroom because it was out of order. Cigarette holes and stains on the bed spread. Had to get a plunger and plunge our own toilet. Coffee…bad.

THERE WAS NO LOCK ON EXTERIOR DOOR ON MY SIDE OF BUILDING - EVEN AT NIGHT! LATE AT NIGHT, NOISEY GROUPS HANGING OUT IN PARKING LOT! JUST UNCOMFORTABLE ATMOSPHERE IN GENERAL.....GLAD TO BE HOME!

The hotel needs a complete remodel. Lobby smells like cigarette smoke. Carpets are stained and dirty. The beds are old and too soft.

Do not stay here. Every floor smelled like pot. Enough to make your room smell like pot. Which was an improvement for how bad the room already smelled. Stains all over bedding and floors. Blood stain on wall by sink. TV didn’t work in either room. Bed was very uncomfortable. Pillows were size of airplane pillows. When mentioned the smell to front desk they said they’d bring deodorant spray. Nothing came. Breakfast was gone by 8am.

Had to leave as our room had bed bugs!! Thanks to Expedia for a fast response and refund

We are a family of six and stayed in the family suite. It was dirty! It smelled like smoke even though it was non smoking. The smoke detector was missing from party of the room and the other was covered with a plastic bag and hair tie. The tv didn’t work. The bathroom was filthy and half the toilet paper holder was broken off the wall. The sheets were stained and the bed were so noisey. The IT systems were down so we couldn’t check in for about 45 minutes when we arrived late at night. This is not our usual experience while staying at a super 8. We were very disappointed.

There appeared to be mold in the bathroom and on the light switch. Burn marks on the carpet and burn holes in the comforter.

The hotel was very dirty and it had a strong marijuana scent. The sheets, blankets and pillows had ashes on them. We asked for towels and got told they had none when our room had none to begin with. Always dirty people sleeping in the lobby area.

The staff was truly exceptional. However the cleanliness of the hotel was really bad. The elevator floor was filthy and there was trash on the floor. The same trash that was on the froor at 2:30 pm was still there at noon the next day. The bed was very soft and unstable. With two people in the bed you both gravitated to the middle of the bed due to the bed being so soft, No smoking rooms but the comforter had burn holes in it.

Heat didn't work and check in room was not clean had to switch now second room heat not working

TV doesn't work right, had to reset every 20 minutes, air-conditioning very cold

TV remote did not work, toilet paper dispenser was broken, center of mattress was falling in (bed may have been broken) ice bucket was filthy, no breakfast of any type (despite being advertised).texted management and was told no one was available and they would call when available (no one called), used app to contact Expedia and was told they could not take care of this.issue.

Good for the price. The room is large the bed was pretty comfortable. The bathroom needed some work, but again at the cost, it wasn't awful.

Everything was terrible, hallway smelled very bad, bad was extremely uncomfortable, big slump in the middle, too much to list.

The location was perfect for our needs. Close to doctors & surgery centers on/near Webb Rd. Within walking distance to Braum's. Clean, large room. No drain covers in sink & bathtub.

Stayed here for the bowling tournament. Room was clean. Had nice amenities (fridge, microwave, tv, coffee maker, etc.). Location was close to Northrock Lanes. My room did have a couple broken tiles in the bathroom that only affected the appearance but not the function. All-in-all, a pleasant stay

Walls had paint chipping was made to wait 3 hrs after I checked in to move rooms cause the a/c wasn't working on my original room....overall bad experience....bad thing is the super 8 Wichita airport was cheaper easier n more accommodating to my disability n by far the cleanest super 8

When we first entered the hotel there was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke. We booked a 3 queen suite. After entering the room we noticed one of the beds looked sunken. We immediately called the front desk and asked for another room. We were told they did not have another room, but could offer us a rollaway bed. While we waited for the rollaway bed we noticed the desk was very unstable and the chair was broken. When the women came to the door with the rollaway we pointed out the bed and the desk and chair. One woman said she knew about the chair and desk, but not the bed. What? Why wouldn't you remove these items before booking out the room? The rollaway bed was in terrible condition and should be tossed in the trash. We contacted Expedia immediately to inform them of the conditions of the hotel. It was recommended we speak to the manager, Melody. We were told IF we checked out they would only give us a partial refund, because we entered the room. Of course we entered the room. We had the intention of staying there until we saw the condition of the room. We pulled off the mattress to see if we could tell the problem. The box spring was completely broken. We provided Expedia with photos. A maintenance man replaced the box spring with a frame that did not require one. He said it would take 25 minutes. Nope. More like 45. By this time it's 11pm and we are exhausted from driving all day, so we sucked it up. DO NOT STAY HERE

When I arrived, there was a woman outside with children. I waited at the lobby for 10 minutes, then called. The woman outside came in and it turns out, she was the clerk. She did not apologize, her child stepped in front of me to ask her a question. There was a dirty rubber glove on the floor in front of the desk, it smelled like cigarrette smoke throughout the lobby. When I got to the room, it was disgusting. It smelled like mold. There were stains on the bedspread, the carpets, cigarette burns on the counters and tub, the metal holding the ceiling tiles were covered in rust in the bathroom. The walls were patched but not painted. I.couldnt stay there. I went downstairs and checked out. Horrible! Do not stay here!

Front desk made it easy to book more nights at the last minute and got to keep the same room so I didn't have to check out at 11 and re-check back in at 3. Cleaning lady's were always nice and can tell they were working hard as well as staying on top of all other requests from guest. **Breakfast use to be a whole lot better!! One of the down sides.** Other than that my stay was quiet.

The staff was GREAT. The room had cigarette holes in two of the blankets., the telephone was shut off when we wanted to call the office, the towel bar came out of the wall & the toilet didn't refill on it's own. The maintainance man came in to fix it at 10 pm.

The front desk was closed when I arrived. No trash can in the room. Tub was dirty. Night table was dirty. Furniture was chipped. Bed was hard. Wall paint chipped.

The breakfast was not the greatest but staff was very nice

It was a convenient location close to IHOP and other restaurants. The room rate was its best selling point for me. It didn’t have a microwave but the May have provided one if I had asked.

Comfortable, but a bit of "bait and switch" on basic services: Promised breakfast never happened and requested extra pillow never arrived. Economic reasons?

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The entire building stunk of cigarette smoke so badly that it permeated our clothes. The toilet flushed non-stop. The heat didn't work properly and the internet was out. The curtains were full of holes. There was red staining on the bathroom wall that really looked like blood. Their breakfast was cereal and old fruit. The staff seemed completely indifferent.

I have stayed there for years, but I do not believe I will return. They used to include biscuits and gravy in the buffet, but they have eliminated that item and they have also eliminated yogurt. A full breakfast buffet is very important to me, but now that they have made it very minimal, I will probably choose another motel.

Lobby smelled of weed upon check-in. Didn't sign any paperwork for check-in. Room had a giant dark stain on floor & dogs were loud at night. Breakfast was out of all juice, sausage & eggs.

Our stay was good other then 7am and no Eggs

Older and outdated in need of major repairs and cleaning. Forget about breakfast. Hardly any food brought out and staff would not refill. Staff said they only are allowed to make a total of 24 eggs for the entire hotel a day, they advertise breakfast hours from 6 to 9 am and I heard them tell a customer at 8 am that it was her own fault they were out of breakfast food because she didn’t get down there earlier. We just saw they had nothing to offer and went down the street to get breakfast elsewhere. I don’t see any reason to stay here again.
