Village Inn Annapolis MD

I had to make a last minute trip to the area on a holiday weekend. I booked this hotel because rates at most hotels had skyrocketed due to the popularity of the dates. The only advantage to staying here is that it wasn't too far from the downtown/waterfront area. The motel is old, tired and in need of a renovation. My room smelled like stale cigarette smoke and who knows what else. It was bad enough that I purchased air freshener at the store to reduct the odor. There were bugs, both alive and dead, in the bathroom. There were stains on the walls that should have been cleaned. The decor was dated and nothing was new. Trying to talk to the people at the front desk was not worth my time because they didn't seem interested in helping. Obviously, I'll never stay here again and I wouldn't advise anyone else to stay here, either.

Rough Property Condition. Fridge did not work and was not repaired after reporting Keys did not work. No shampoo, no conditioner no hair dryer, bad smell. Absolutely no hanging hooks or hangers at all.

My original choice had some issues so Hotels.com rebooked me here. Not a great hotel, would never stay here again

It was foul, so many hazards and disgusting things weren't just in our room, but every other displayed and presented. They wouldn't let us look at the beds of the new rooms after finding pubic hair and bugs in the sheets and a pee stain on the actual mattress. They did a surprise cleaning fee and expected this all to fly. Then when investigating other rooms, they said it wouldn't be fair to housekeeping.

Bed bugs, i was bitten.
