Hostal Los Coronales

출장으로 굉장히 많은 숙소를 경험해 봤습니다. 하지만 이번 숙소와 같은 곳은 처음 경험해 봅니다. 화장실 변기가 있는 것과 방의 구분이 전혀 없고 책상에 놓여진 곳에 콘센트가 없어. TV 뒤에 있는 상부 콘센트에서 억지로 전기를 끌어와서 사용했어야 했습니다. 그리고 편의시설이 모두 본관에 위치에 있어서 별관에 방을 얻은 제 입장에서는 왔다 갔다 하기 굉장히 불편했습니다. 다음 날 이동을 위해 잠깐 머물러야 했기에 참고 머물렀지만, 두 번 다시 경험하고 싶진 않습니다.

The staff was super professional and helpful. The airport shuttle was very convenient. I definitely plan on staying here again for a brief layover.

If you’re looking for a hotel where you can hear absolutely everything your neighbours do, be treated like an inconvenience by the staff, and sleep in what feels like a bathroom with a bed — congratulations, you’ve found it. The staff seemed remarkably uninterested in their jobs. Every question or request appeared to be an annoying interruption. Warmth, helpfulness and enthusiasm were clearly not included. The sound insulation is practically non-existent. You can hear every door opening, every rolling suitcase in the corridor, every shower running and every toilet flushing. Then the cleaners start early in the morning in the hallways, making sure you don’t accidentally get any sleep. My room was another experience altogether. It was essentially a bathroom with a bed squeezed into it. The toilet was directly in the room, and the only window was a tiny skylight in the roof. Very cosy — if your idea of cosy is sleeping in a bathroom cupboard. The airport shuttle was equally impressive. The instructions for finding it were so long and complicated they seemed almost designed to make you give up and take a taxi. There’s no proper lounge either, just a neglected terrace. Overall, a memorable stay — but definitely not in a good way. If you enjoy listening to strangers shower, hearing suitcases roll past your door and feeling like your presence is an inconvenience, this is the place for you. Everyone else: stay somewhere else.
