Hotel location is stunning. Reception can be a little slow at times. Showers at pool not all working and some broken beds. pillows need to be replaced as they are very worn and too soft. Clubhouse service can be slow due to understaffing. spa area is beautiful and a lovely treatment although a little pricey. complimentary water on arrival nice touch.

This hotel is claimed to be a 5 star hotel which it’s definitely not. The staff in the reception where welcoming and nice but the breakfast staff all looked pissed off. I rank this hotel as 2-3 stars tops and here’s why: 1. The room is spacy but the bathroom comes without lotion and separate shampoo and conditioner. The have a shower gel that is all in one - that says a lot. 2. The fitness room is falling apart. They Didner even bother to refill the water. The machines are worn out and the free weights go to 12 kg only. The warmup machines, 50% did not work at all. No music in the fitness room. No staff that took care of it. 3. The hotel has spa in its name. In the indoor pool area its water leakage and not all chairs have pillows. The water was not warm, at most is was lukewarm. The hot tub was also just lukewarm and 1/2 was broken. The steam sauna was broken and there were almost zero slots available for massage even though the hotel was almost empty. 4. The breakfast has zero luxury and they did not refill fast enough for people to get what they wanted. It felt like bed and breakfast.

Our room no 201 smelt of sewage. We could not be moved as hotel was full apparently. Maintenance man tried to fix it and it was a little better for 3 hours and so we had a dreadful unhealthy nights sleep. Please ensure that Expedia guests are not allocated room 201!!!

Hotel très sale. La chambre et sa douche sale. On a trouvé des bas d’anciens clients en arrière d’une chaise dans la chambre. Le drain de douche ne fonctionne pas, ou peu, ainsi nous avions les pieds qui baignaient dans le jus du drain de douche. Le carrelage de la piscine était sale : il semble avoir peur de maintenance de piscine. Le personnel travaillant au restaurant italien était durs et arrogants. Le site est beau, bien centré dans la région.

The hotel was nice enough. I'm sorry but it is not 5 star. For a top quality hotel on a 5 star resort we found it to be somewhat noisy. The room was spacious but a little dated. The only real problem was the bathroom. Whilst it had a good sized bath and hood sized shower. The toilet had no window or any kind of ventilation. Not even an extractor fan . This meant there was a constant unpleasant odour Also who thought that putting a wood lattice window which looks directly into the bathroom at the side of the bed was a good idea?! Unfortunately the balcony was tiny only large enough for 2 small chairs. We did however enjoy our stay and the breakfast was very nice.

Suite présidentielle : remarquable, vraiment tout le confort moderne. Vue magnifique sur la piscine et le golf. Vraiment cette suite (303) est à voir ! Un seul petit bémol, l'équipement électronique pas à la hauteur : les télévisions datent de plus de vingts ans et plus aux normes. Pour un hôtel 5 * , il devrait y avoir une réception des principales télévisions européennes (pas uniquement quelques chaînes espagnoles...). Le déjeuner était très bien digne d'un 5*. Le soir le restaurant est moins "classe" , peut-être dû à la saison. L'hôtel mériterait un restaurant gastronomique !

Great location for the golf course which was great to play on. The room we stayed in was a little worn and could do with an upgrade especially the bathroom which had taps held together with tape, faulty lighting and faulty toilet flush. The breakfast was also not great as the hot food was always on the cold side. We did however have an ok break but the hotel itself in my opinion was not a 5 star experience more a 3 star one which was just ok for us.

The room was very tired looking with fittings coming off the wall (like the towel hook), the bed was very uncomfortable (it felt like it hasn’t been replaced since the hotel was built…), and the room was unbearably hot, with no possibility to change the temperature apart from switching the heating off. All of this made us check out after only one night. This was very disappointing as this stay was to celebrate our anniversary.

Stayed in the presidential suite for a week. Really comfortable and spacious. The hotel is great and food in the restaurants is great but they are very understaffed. The poor staff are run ragged and some lunchtimes we waited an age. Not the staffs fault they were great but the management need to address this issue as it’s not an isolated incident it was every day. Bit that aside it was a great relaxing holiday and would recommend the hotel

Service all around the hotel is absolutely shocking, reception staff are rude and unhelpful, you are left sat waiting in all the restaurants to be served, 20/30 minutes inbetween being seated ordering drinks then another wait to order food then another wait for the bill. Booked a double room got two single beds. Reception said housekeeping would come to put the beds together but never did. Air conditioning is ridiculously weak. Limited food options around the resort and all so expensive for what you get. Area around is also poor. I am now chasing for a partial refund, have sent 3 messages and still no reply. Will not be returning.

Arrived very late due to snow in UK. Check in staff very helpful and in room quickly. Very comfortable room and well equipped. The resort is a little bit tired but was perfect for my requirements. Golf seemed to be very busy. Breakfast was a great selection but a bit pricy at ninteen euros.Very satisfied and happy with my three night stay.

We were looking for a half board stay in the area, but not really interested in a golf stay-we we’re not disappointed. Yes there were a few minor issues when we first arrived, but these were sorted immediately by the very attentive manage Antonio Sanchez and his team. The room was great, the service personal and the food excellent. I thought they have been more interested in the golf, but be assured at Ona Mar Menor Golf & Spa it’s all about the guest-we’ll done.

We’ve stayed at Ona Mar Menor hotel a couple of times previously. The hotel is really well run and has all the amenities you would expect. The staff are great and the pool is gorgeous. We did have an issue with our room with an air conditioning system that really didn’t cool the room down, but when we raised our dissatisfaction we were offered another room without any fuss - great customer service! The hotel is starting to feel a little tired and could do with some TLC, but otherwise a fantastic base for our short break.

Very old property. Had construction going on so very dusty everywhere and air was hard to breathe. Loud parties every night and the surrounding area was very poor. If you are traveling to this part of Spain I would book something on the beach like La Manga.

Recently stayed for 7 days at Ona Mar Golf Resort and Spa. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We had a problem in our room with an unpleasant smell in the shower area. Once reported, this was dealt with immediately. The hotel is very well maintained. I used the indoor pool on a couple of occasions which was beautiful and very relaxing. Overall, a great place to stay with easy access to motorway, nearby towns and restaurants.

Receptionist who checked us in was wonderful , she was young with long dark hair. The food in hotel was not good, the dining staff were harassed with only a few tables booked in for dinner so we left . Breakfast was cold .. and the Irish pub on site had limited food .

Golfresa. Hotellet är utmärkt. Vi hade halvpension bodde 7 nätter. Man har 3 olika ställe att äta på. Stora restaurangen, Puben och Golf Restaurangen. Sedan var det många olika rätter att välja på förrätt huvudrätt och efterrätt. Städningen varje dag så var mycket bra. Enda som var mindre bra vi fick inte rum med utsikt över pool och golfbana. Tyvärr fick vi ingen starttid på golfbanan under hela veckan.
