BED BUGS, BEWARE!!! I was bit two of the three nights I was there and started having fairly severe allergic reactions to the bites, was moved to another room after I informed the front desk, and then the room I was moved to had a drunk or drugged out crazy person in it, screaming obscenities in the evening. I was offered no refund or anything else at all for these issues. The walls and floors at this place are paper thin so you hear everything around you. Floors and carpeting are dirty. Room was also musty smelling when we first checked in. Water pressure in the showers was weak. Noises from restaurants and the coffee bar outside the property on the first floor are bad enough that you won’t be able rest or sleep during the day. Staff and others are constantly outside of the main office smoking at tables when you first walk out or in the building. Parking at this hotel is terrible, 20 minute “loading zone” spots were almost always taken by cars that were parked there the whole time I was there, spaces at the hotel are barely big enough to park a regular car in them, and off site parking is about two blocks away. I will never stay at this hotel again, and will be warning everyone I know not to stay there in the future.

I checked out a day early because of storm coming. I put everything away and then I had to call down the next day to see if I'd left a pair of gray shorts in the room. They did find a pair of gray shorts in the room but also tried to say the room smelled very badly of smoke and I never smoked in that room. So I'd watch yourself because who knows if somebody went in there after I checked out one of the employees and then was smoking in that room and trying to blame me

Overall the Plim Plaza is nice and in a very convenient location near many points of interest. The overflow parking was very nice and also in a great location. Just a couple of complaints that really should be addressed. The windows in our room, on the outside, needed cleaned. You could not see through them. We had an ocean view room but couldn't see anything through the glass. We were in town for the car show and enjoyed sitting on the outside deck in chairs watching the parade. Unfortunately, those glass panels needed cleaned as well and those of us who were seated on the immediate outdoor deck couldn't see through them. It would have been more enjoyable to be able to see through windows and glass panels. Especially for all of the car spectators who sat out to enjoy the car parade. Hopefully this issue can be resolved.

Older and needed updating hotel wasn’t the cleanest bathroom towels had holes in them. Refrigerator was dirty for as expensive as it was for the weekend definitely not worth it paid $1300 for four nights.

We had an absolute blast staying here. The staff and the other guests were great! We were there for the Nor’Easter and although the Oceans Calling Festival was cancelled and the weather was awful we still had fun. We did cut our stay short due to deteriorating weather conditions, but booked for next year before we left. If you want a clean place to stay and want to be surrounded by all the OC Boardwalk has to offer, look no further. Yes, the rooms are small but what are you doing in your room? Go outside, hang out on the porch or the huge lobby. So much fun.
