Hotel Ankora

Amei o hotel. Quarto super grande, limpeza impecável, colchão super confortável. Estávamos em 4 pessoas, e nos sentimos super confortáveis. O quarto tem uma mini cozinha com forno, geladeira e chaleira elétrica, o que facilitou muito nossa estadia. Além do fato do banheiro ser enorme e ter uma hidromassagem que fez toda a diferença no inverno de Praga.

We stayed at Hotel Ankora Prague from July 26 to July 30 and had a great experience overall. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet offered a good variety of options. Room service and daily cleaning were excellent. The only downside was that the hotel did not have permission for EV parking, which was slightly inconvenient. Other than that, everything was spot on.

Hotel rooms were enormous and contained multiple beds. Bathrooms were small in comparison. It is in a major traffic area, yet surprisingly quiet. Ample and varied breakfast. Cleanliness could be improved, Parking was a challenge with the car elevator and underground parking. The angles are very tight and almost impossible to maneuver in an SUV. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Prague.

Short 4 minute walk to metro. Trams come continuously. Tram 22 and 23 takes you to city centre...easy ride. Close to the National Museum lots of restaurants and shops around. Hotel room (superior) was spacious. Shower jets and a soak in the jacuzzi were great after walking all day. Great breakfast buffet with attentive staff. Totally recommend. Would stay there again. Only issue was that the curtain didn't cover all the window so had to clip two together for complete privacy.

Ayant décidé de me rendre à Prague en voiture. Le parking était donc un facteur déterminant dans mon choix de réserver à l'hôtel Ankora rue Katarinska. Or au moment de réserver ma place de parking, la réception de l'hôtel m'apprend que les véhicules électriques y sont interdits ; ce qui n'était nullement précisé dans le descriptif de la réservation de la chambre. - J'ai, donc, dû chercher une solution alternative de stationnement, en urgence, engendrant des frais supplémentaires et des désagréments non prévus. Dommage...ma réservation étant non remboursable et le seul conseil de l'hôtel à été : "garez vous dans la rue". Points positifs : l'hôtel est bien placé près du métro et tram, dans quartier plutôt calme et bien achalandé en restauration. Point négatif : parking interdit aux véhicules électriques, précisé nulle part, alors que l'hôtel voisin l'autorise.

Very good hotel. Very Clean. Very good vie with a terrace in the 8th floor. But, we ask for glutenfree beverages for breakfast. That doesn't work. We got prebaked bread. You can't eat that. Perhaps they should try it thereselves first.

Posizione comodissima vicino metro C e fermata tram 22 con cui vai ovunque. Prenotato una stanza deluxe trovata molto ampia e comoda. Letto king size e bagno con vasca idromassaggio e doccia idromassaggio. Colazione inclusa nella norma con tutto quel che serve per una giornata da passare in giro. Consigliato!

Das Check In und Check out war schnell und einfach. Die Dame am Empfang war sehr freundlich. Wir konnten auch bereits ca.eine Stunde früher einchecken als gewöhnlich. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, ca.50 qm sauber,,Es gibt eine kleine Kochnische mit Mikrowelle,Geschirr und Spülbecken. Toilette,Bidet und eine Dusche mit Massagedüsen vorhanden. Jacuzzi gegen Aufpreis von 15 Euro nutzbar. Das Schlimmste fand ich persönlich das Parkhaus.Ein Aufzug fährt das Auto runter die Tiefgarage. im Aufzug und im Parkhaus ist es sehr eng.Ich hatte eine SUV,was die Sache erschwert hat.Man sollte sein sehr gut kennen,ansonsten kann es passiert,dass man mit Auto hängen bleibt.Parkhaus kostet pro Tag 22 Euro.

We liked the hotel. For three guests, we got a spacious and clean room with a kettle, microwave, and mini fridge. The bathroom had a shower and a bathtub. The breakfast was decent. The garage was a plus. The reception was open 24 hours. The only problem is the small breakfast area: at the busiest times (~8:30-9:30), it was difficult or even impossible to find a free table.

Hôtel bien situé entre 3 stations de métro, le personnel (réception et petit déjeuner) est très agréable, la chambre bien que petite, est fonctionnelle, salle de bain pratique et le plus, la terrasse à partager avec la chambre d'à côté 😕avec une vue panoramique. Juste un bémol qui n'a pas entaché mon séjour, cependant, il n'y a ni prise ni interrupteur proche du lit. C'est étrange, il fait se relever pour accéder à l'interrupteur dans le mini couloir et la prise pour recharger ?? Dans la salle de bain

Comfortable bed, clean room, it has everything you need

샤워기 헤드에 더러움이 많았다. 욕실에서 곰팡이 냄새가 난다. 방이 너무 좁다 컵라면 먹을려고 따뜻한물 좀 달랬더니 없다고한다.(호텔에 따뜻한물 없다는곳은 처음 경험) 시내가 가깝다는거 빼고는 별로 친창할것이없다.

Property was very clean but one thing I noticed in our room that there was an empty packaging after someone’s food which was not a huge problem but something that could be easily avoided if proper cleaning was done. When coming to the hotel we thought there would be a reserved parking space for us but we had to pay for a parking spot per day. I wanted to borrow the things to play pool around 9pm which I got denied as you can only borrow the items for pool from the 10-7 this was annoying as this was not told to me beforehand and it was our last day at the hotel but otherwise our stay was great and a good location. Oh and the jacoozi was awesome

Clean room, friendly staff, good variety for breakfast, close to Peace Square, Dancing House, National Museum. It’s also close to major public transportation and food places if you need to grab food late in the night. Would stay here again in the future

The room was spotless everyday. The staff courteous. The breakfast was excellent with a wide selection. Good location. I would highly recommend.

Good: has multiple hangers for my needs. Very convenient location, can walk to old town. Clean floors. Bed ok. Pretty quiet. Bad: Pillow not too comfy. Blanket had a dead bug on it. Shower smells like mold.

Clean, great breakfast and walkable to main attractions

Check in was really good and we managed to check in early so arrived from the airport and managed to get straight into the room. The room was clean but very small, no room to get out of the bed either side so you had to slide off the end. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast was included but this wasn’t clear when booking so we missed out on this for two days of our stay. Generally stay was good.

The hotel was clean, room was cleaned daily and in good condition. The jacuzzi bath in our apartment style room was amazing too! HOWEVER the sofa bed was hard, the pillows were hard, and the air con is a lie - our room was never less than 24.5 degrees C despite air con being set to 19c and fan setting 3! Most of the time it hovered around 25.5c. Had to ask for a fan because it was unbearable (which they quickly provided) - but even this didnt really help! To be honest, on day 2, I was dreading having to stay for another day due to the heat. Thank god there is lots to do in Prague and we only really returned to sleep and enjoy the jacuzzi bath (highlight of our apartment room). The breakfast was basic - mostly bread, meat and cheese. There were scrambled eggs but they were inedible. On 1 day there was bacon which was the highlight of our breakfast experience. Granola and walnut strudel were nice though. Location was amazing and the reason I booked this place. 3 mins to tram/trolleybus stops; 5mins walk to Wenceslas Square and the National Museum. Corner shop next door for anything you could need - because the hotel sold absolutely nothing; not even a vending machine with water and crisps! The price was good though- cannot deny that! Overall, if the room temperature could have been reduced to 19c we would have had very little to complain about, but sadly, the heat ruined it for us and hindered our ability to sleep well. Sadly, we would not recommend, nor return.

Great overall property. A/C did not work for a longer part of our stay with Windows not able to open it was not great. Then the A/C started to work and the difference was significant. Breakfast was good, but limited compared to other properties we have been to. Overall, great staff and very accommodating and would recommend to others now that the A/C problem appears to be resolved

Booked this hotel for 6 nights. When I arrived, the air conditioning for the entire building was not working. My room at that time was 25ºC. The hotel rooms do not have windows that can be opened. I was advised that it would be fixed the next day and was given a small fan. Once we were in the room, the temperature increased to 26.5ºC and with the humidity, it was over 30ºC. I stayed for a total of 4 nights and everyday I was told that the A/C would be fixed today. On my 5th day of not sleeping and unbearable conditions, I advised that I had to go somewhere else. Neither expedia nor the hotel would refund my final two nights, due to the room being unrefundable. I think that is outrageous, as I would have stayed if the room was habitable and had no desire to move to a different hotel but needed to get some sleep. Absolutely disgusted with expedia and the hotel for a lack of customer service.

Good hotel! Wonderful breakfast! But need to buy a new pillows!))

Rooms would need some refurbishment, as you can see they are dated. Furniture is basic on the cheap side, but functional. Pillows are extremely thin, almost missing in some places, it’s like you are sleeping with just a sheet under your head. I would recommend replacing them. Breakfast room also needs some improvement, as it seems from a different age. For a short trip (1-2 days), it’s a decent place.

All was great, except for 2 things. The pillows are not pillows, I don’t know how to describe it. Second, the room is not soundproof at all. We heard everything from next room, upstairs and even downstairs. Couldn’t sleep well. Except for these, all were great.

Booked this hotel for 6 nights. When I arrived, the air conditioning for the entire building was not working. My room at that time was 25ºC. The hotel rooms do not have windows that can be opened. The lady at the reception didn't show any smile to us and wasn't helpful. The ventilation system is shared and the rooms don't get any air. There is a constant smell. Those who are coming for holiday may prefer other places.

Nice, clean hotel in a covenient location. Very friendly Receptionist, staff at breakfasts could make effort to greet guests and make them feel welcome, but overall, pleasant stay and would recommend. Thank you.

Everything was perfect! A small but modern room with a TV, clean bathroom, fresh towels available anytime, and a nice breakfast selection. Check-in was really fast — no more than 2 minutes — and check-out took less than 20 seconds. Reception is working 24/7. The city center is about a 15-minute walk away, or just 8–9 minutes by tram. There’s a Tesco hypermarket about 1 km from the hotel, and several small shops and bakeries nearby.

This hotel is clean and warm, the staffs are friendly, the front desk is 7/24 service. The breakfast is rich and delicious, it is free! I have already recommend it to my friends.

Stayed here with family of 4 for a Christmas city break. Property is ideally situated next to a metro stop and on a bus route (public transport is amazing in Prague). Also a short 5 minute walk from Wenceslas square and National museum. Arrived on early flight so reached the hotel at 11am hoping just to drop our bags in a luggage room but pleasantly surprised we were are to check in as our room was ready. Room itself was nice as spacious with good beds, air con, safe, etc. Bathroom was slightly small and dated but not a major problem. A tad disappointed by the breakfast offering, limited pastries and cereal, with meats and cheese. Overall very happy with this hotel, would stay here again if visiting Prague in future.

The property is in an excellent location, close to public transport and shopping. It was very quiet although traffic is busy outside. Beds are very comfortable and everything is very clean. Breakfast was good with variety of tasty options. Would definitely stay here again.

Room was simple, but clean and functional. Breakfast has a good range and plenty available. Good location: 10-15 minutes walk to new town centre and another 5 into old town.

We stayed at Ankora Hotel from 2nd to 4th September 2025 and had a wonderful experience. The staff were warm, friendly, and always helpful, which made our stay very pleasant. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety to choose from. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Prague, as many attractions are within easy reach. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Ankora Hotel to anyone visiting the city.

It is a nice hotel in the center of Prague, very close to the Central Train Station and The Natural Museum of Prague . I was 4 days and I didn’t take any Public Transportation. I walked to the all principal places to visit.

Lovely clean room. Shower was perfectly warm. Quiet in the room (7th floor), only slight issue is the lack of a charging point near the bed. Anyone that complains about the breakfast must have a serious issue as even as a vegan there was plenty for me.

El desayuno bufete no era muy variado

God plads. Børneseng lånes kun ud til børn under 2 år. Morgenmaden var ok, den skiftede under selve morgenmaden. Vi var der 4 dage, én af dem var der gode pølser, bacon og bønner. De andre var der æg, dårlige pølser og så alt fra biksemad til svampe. Jeg spurgte efter bacon og de pølser de serverede første dag, men fik afvise det afgang af ugen hvad der var varmt. Ellers var der alt fra yougurt til frugt, brød og nutella. Kagerne var nogen dage gode, andre dage underlige. Det er INGEN pool som man ser det på Google, og da jeg spurgte fortalte de blot at de ikke havde lagt billedet op og henviste til en hjemmeside, da jeg spurgte hvorfor de ikke fjernede billedet, fik jeg ingen svar. Det var alt i alt (og til prisen) hvad vi havde regnet med, og vi kunne finde på at gøre det igen. Men med meget lidt justering kunne det blive rigtig fint. Vores bil var høj så vi skulle finde anden parkering, P+R virkede fint, 2€ første døgn og 10€ følgende, og så tilbage til byen med et tog. Nemt og billigt.
