Went to see the room and the room was unlocked the lock was broken to lock door there was a condom on the outside of the door to room very nasty nasty smell in room it was so bad i just donated the 56 bucks they charged me for the jetted tub room so they can use it to buy a new lock for door

The hotel gives a freakishly uneasy vibe. Very empty, dirty, and tbe pool was 1/4 full of green water, unusable. The room was dirty, beds were stained and worn out. Very unpleasent stay. Wont be back!

Not only was the property littered with various garbage and debris, the building itself was very dilapidated, most of the lights in the room didn't work,the carpet looked like the original carpet from back in the day the hotel was built and the room was dirty?? On top of all this the one bowl of cereal, small donut and cup of coffee they call a continental breakfast you're not allowed to eat in your room, you have to eat it in the lobby there you're not allowed to leave the lobby with it?? Never heard of such a thing?? This property also seems very unsafe at night, not many cameras or availabilities to keep an eye on your automobile or your safety?? I myself will never stay there again and do not by any means recommend this hotel for anyone else, they need a lot of renovations and policy changes first!! There is one plus for this hotel, they did allow me to check in early however it didn't seem like they had any other guests staying there??

When we first got there, no lights in the room. Air-conditioning didn't work. Room had old behind the bathroom floor

First room couldn’t get in second room said non smoking but there was an ashtray and stunk of smoke. Second room no smoke smell but mildew smell and we saw roaches. After dinner we decided we didn’t feel comfortable staying. I was going to get stuff to clean up but we went to another hotel and I asked to see a room first and was given a key and this hotel was in better condition so rented it. I wish I would have seen the other first or wouldn’t have wasted my money there.

DO NOT stay here, blankets, pillows, sheets & towels all stained, they appear to have bed bugs. Overall condition of property is not good. No matter what they charge it’s just not up to minimal standards

Sheets was stained red and yellow, and there were roaches everywhere. We found old cheese in the fridge it was nasty ASF.

I’ve staying at cheap hotels but this one is by far the worst I’ve stayed at. Thank god I had booked it for 20 through Expedia using my points. For a regular rate between 50-60 a night the condition of this place is absurd. Absolutely filthy. Asked for non smoking room. room reaked of smoke. cigarette butts, ashes box spring, behind the bed and night stands, empty bottles, trash, dead cockroaches, mold on shower curtain, popcorn ceiling falling apart above the shower, dirty roll of toilet paper, dirty sheets and towels. If I could upload pictures I took I would. Go somewhere else because this place is a hard no.

By far the worst hotel I've ever stayed. Absolutely gross. Mattress was stained. Roaches everywhere, climbing on me while I was trying to sleep.

From the Time I walked in the room I was Dissatisfied. I had Just bought food and Had Got in the Hotel Late. Put my Food Down to check the room and Was Disappointed. My Linen Was Not Folded Properly, looked as Of it had been used. Went to eat my Food And Roaches Where everywhere, had to throw it all away and Get more. Very dissatisfied 0 star Rating

Dead roaches in floor, bed sheets had been slept in and we’re disheveled and dirty, rusted metal coat hangers had been bent and twisted around towel rack, substance dried on air conditioner that I hope was not blood, mirror was broken, and large area had been repaired with drywall and mud but not sanded and finished.

I arrived and I never checked in because I requested to see the room first. AFTER ENTERIING THE ROOM I DECIDED IT DID NOT MEET MY ACCOMMODATIONS. THE MATTEWSSES ARE FILTHY AND MILDEWED ABD THE ROOM HAD A HORRIBLE ODOR TO IT! I REQUESTED MY MONEY BACK BUT THEY REFUSED AND CANCELED A ROOM I NEVER CHECKED IN!!!

Infested with roaches and poor quality hotel. Please dont stay here.

The bathroom and bed were less than acceptable!

Honestly the beds were hard and not really comfortable. Better sheets and bedding would be great. It was kinda itchy. Great staff and gret in cleanliness. Better sleeping material would eb best.

We were highly upset with our stay, when we checked in ww were given the wrong room than requested. In 1st room it was dirty and used products in room and bathroom. Second room with jetted tub I had requested when making reservations was also dirty but it was late so we cleaned the room ourselves. The bed was very uncomfortable, no ironing board cover to iron clothes, no trash can, not at all like the pictures. Wanted a refund last night but desk clerk said it would be a big hassle.

You get what you pay for and at $48/night it isnt much. The place needs a total gutting and remodel. When i opened the room door it smelled like an old stale basement. Decor was 1970's dated. Pillows were old lumpy and flat. Sheets had many stains on them. Bathroom floor had cracked tiles and a giant dead cockroach. I only needed the room to grab 2 hours sleep so i kept my clothes on and slept on top of the sheets. Skipped the shower and left.

The room was just right for the price. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice and quiet.

It was nasty paid for the room went and opened the door mildew on the covers gross. Was supposed to have a sofa bed no sofa bed we turn around and shut the door and left and went home and did not stay.

Hotel was overbooked just before hurricane Milton was to hit and it took several days to convince them to refund my money when they knew I did not get a room assigned. And only received a partial refund with them keeping $6 … $6!

Staff was polite, but I ordered a non-smoking room and was given a smoking room. The rates posted on the counter at the front desk were lower than what was offered. There was no point in inquiring about the problem with the room because the entire hotel was visibly unpleasant. I'm pretty sure there was mold based on the old smoke smell.

Location was perfect, with easy access to all the attractions.
