the elevator was disgusting,,, it had a rug in it and was soiled with dog urine. It looked like it had net been swepped out in days. so were the hallways ,, they were all dirty and should be carpeted for noise absorption. the room next to me had a dog that barked every time someone walked by and kept me up. the room was clean though and the bed was comfortable

What you actually get at this place vs. what Hotels.com tells you you are getting are two different things. This is a place where people who are down and out are just trying to get by. Zombies, meth addicts, poor and desperate, etc etc. People live here and stand out front complaining and smoking and screaming at staff. The staff are doing their best with a lot of unnecessary rules. For example. I had to provide my debit card which was not just used as a hold, but they ran it and charged my card and DID NOT return money to my bank account for 5 business days. I was absolutely screwed because I needed that money to live. THIS CHARGE WAS IN ADDITION TO THE HOTELS.COM fee. I had to keep resetting my key because it wouldn’t work. The hallways smell like whatever everyone is cooking in their room. I was nauseous. The elevator didn’t work as it should. Again. The staff was cool with what they had to work with. But they are depressed and going through the motions because this place is just sad.

Some dog owner do not clean up after their pets so pet area is a mine field. Ciggerette butts make it look unkept. No place to comfortably sit and enjoy the outside. Overall ok but no paridise.

The interior of the hotel was clean and no bad smells. The furnishings were cheap but comfortable. The exterior was disgusting . There was trash and broken glass everywhere. I stayed here because it was dog friendly but had to go offsite to walk my dogs. There was also a strange path cut into the woods behind the property. While is was coming into the building a large man came up from the path. I went back to my car until he left.

It’s great if you are staying for a short time for work or just passing thru. It’s like a small college dorm room. Rates are affordable, it’s relatively clean, no smells, no bugs, it’s pretty quiet unless you are on the highway side of the building and can hear the traffic. They don’t have daily housekeeping which I liked because I don’t want to be bothered but you have to take out your trash to the bin. Lots of food places in walking distance. It has a small laundry room, couple machines were broken. It’s not a 5 star hotel, but if you need a good place to sleep I would stay here again.

All the staff except Rebecca (the manager) were pleasant and helpful. She rubbed me the wrong way when I asked about towels to Kerry and Floyd. She butted her way into our conversation and was very rude and unaccommodating. The washers and dryers did not work how they should have. I wasted so much time dealing with the washer and dryer machines due to the washers not accepting credit cards. The hotel did not have any quarters to accommodate their guests. Kerry was very helpful considering the situation and supplied me with some. As I was at the dryer inserting coins it kept rejecting them as Kerry was helping me, in that instance the manager Rebecca barged in with what seemed to be a personal problem, one that should not have been directed at me being I am a guest of the property. She said Kerry COME out to the reception as if I was oblivious and not a paying customer who needed help. I asked her if she was the manager because I really could not tell. I told her about my problem, and she did not respond as a “manager” should, by saying to me I can check out if I am not satisfied. My clothes are not dry at this point, and I am pissed right now! She says,Call the number. Another guest was in the laundry room, he told me that she is a B* very rude, and always saying that to guests. I’m in my last quarter and the machine stole my money, so I went back to the reception area and waited in line, two guests who were checking in told me that she was rude on the phone to them. I would.

Upon entering my room after checkin I found the housekeeper sitting in the room watching tv. Then after he left I couldn’t get the tv to work. I had to run to the store and thought I would tell the front desk when I returned but it was closed at 5 pm. I called several times that evening and no one answered. When I checked out at 7 am the front desk was still closed. Also the room wasn’t as clean as it should be. There were fake eyelashes left on the night stand, hair hanging from the microwave and it looks like the vents haven’t been cleaned in months

Room was dirty, floors were not swept or mopped so unfortunately the spills from precious guests were left. Toilet paper remnants all over the bathroom floor. No pillows upon arrival. The upkeep and cleanliness of the room was awful.

WoodSpring Suites was not an enjoyable experience. The bathroom was not cleaned well when I checked into the room. The sheets & covers didn’t look to be changed frequently. I asked for a clean wash cloth & towel bc my room was only equipped with one towel. Although the front desk said they would take care of it, they never did. It’s a pet friendly place so I’m sure people allow their dogs on the beds there so that may be a reason for the smell in the facility. I ended up checking out a day early and went across the street to Sleep Inn Main Stay. My experience there was much better and the rooms were clean.

After arriving, there is no front desk clerk, you have to call a number to have someone “on the property” come check you in. After calling, the lady on the phone said they would be right over they were just getting towels for another guest, 20 minutes later they pull up in their car (obviously not even staying there during their shift). Checks me in, she leaves, I get to my room and the keys don’t work. So I repeat the same cycle, call, wait, get new keys. The room was disgusting, spilled liquids and food in the cabinets, spilled drinks on the floor, pet hair and dirt all over the bed. I’m convinced the bed was made, they threw two towels in the bathroom and called it clean. Horrible location. Highly recommend elsewhere.

There was a lingering stale smoke smell - former smoker so I know it well, I had to go buy Lysol spray to spray everywhere! One small pillow and handle on refrigerator was really dirty. I used ear plugs and the freeway was so noisy, I’d suggest double pane windows on that side at least.

Checked into room and it was filthy. Dried boogers on the walls, what appears to be blood spatter above shower head, shower floor was yellowed with soap scum, dried food left stove and microwave. Went to put our linens on the mattress cover and mattress itself stained with urine and blood. Spoke to desk clerk and was told if we didnt like the conditions we could just check out. Refused to give any contact information for management. Entryway garbage was always full. Needed a plunger one night and had to track maintenance down the next day to get one. App will not let me upload the photos

No heat at all. I was shivering in my own paid hotel room. I have never heard of this at any hotel and I have stayed at a lot of hotels over the years. They said there is no heat, only Air Conditioning. I turned on the heat thermostat and was waiting for about two hours for my room to get warmer. Then, I finally went to the front Desk and the lady just said "there is no heat, it's an old building built in the 60's. The 1960's isn't an old building. It was in the 30's last night but nobody cares and they just want to be cheap and not have a heating bill. I'm not in Hawaii or South America. It gets cold in Kentucky. The lady at the front desk lady last night, didn't even offer me more blankets. I have low blood pressure and I get cold sooner than other people. I heard about five or six other people in the lobby talking about how cold it is in this hotel and saying that they need to turn the heat on. Nobody cares. It's all about money coming in and no money to pay for gas or heat. The front desk lady had a slave heater by her legs as she was talking to me and I asked her if they have any space heaters that I could put one in my room. She said no. Then later on I saw she had a heater on right by her legs on the floor. This is ridiculous. How cheap can a hotel owner be? No heat? That's nuts. I got a room last night because I wanted to come in from the cold weather outside. Isn't that the entire point of getting a room? To be warm, safe and comfortable? Yeah, they don't care here!

The people were super friendly. I had a handicap accessible room and it was definitely big enough. However there was a pool noodle acting as a barrier for the shower and that doesn't really work so the floor was always wet. The mattress is also super thin and the pillows are basically pancakes. If you're only staying for a night or w it's fine but definitely bring your own pillow

Horrible room, bathroom sink, leak constantly dirty blinds no coffee pot in room nor anything to cook with you have to pay extra for cooking utensils. Got no sleep from all the noise, left my phone charger went back to get it and of course “they could not find“ I even told them where it was. I will now stay there again nor will I recommend.

Starting at check in the lady that check this in has to be the least personable person i've ever encountered. The hotel is nothing like the picturea. It looks like it's something out of 1956. The circuit kept blowing in our room which is fine because we had a fuse box in there but very unprofessional. Our toilet did not flush.We had to pull the back off of it and pull up the back of it to make it flush. Our sheets have clearly been slept on before. I just expected more for the price

They don’t have daily housekeeping which I liked because I don’t want to be bothered but you have to take out your trash to the bin. Lots of food places in walking distance. It has a small laundry room, couple machines were broken. It’s not a 5 star hotel, but if you need a good place to sleep I would stay here again.

There was a lingering stale smoke smell - former smoker so I know it well, I had to go buy Lysol spray to spray everywhere! One small pillow and handle on refrigerator was really dirty. I used ear plugs and the freeway was so noisy, I’d suggest double pane windows on that side at least.

I was sooooo disappointed I never stay at an extended stay and wasnt sure what to expect but the room I had to purchase sheets for the bed the mattress cover was filthy it soned in Tennessee while I was there and the heater in my room wasnt working im from the Bahamas so imagine how cold I was after four days of complaining to front desk and nothing happened I had to use the stkve to keep warm , they never clean my room I had to purchase mop and broom to clean I will never stay at that hotel ever again the hotel was full of undesirable tentant in sorry choose this because of your description you need to have someone sceret shop because they are not up to your standards.

Tried to charge me for my service dog even after I showed proof of registration. Leak in the bathroom shower made the whole room smell moldy. I booked a room through hotels.com for my 2 sisters to stay in town while I was recovering from heart surgery. The first room (#213) had black mold growing around the A/C unit, so they were moved to #220. There was none of the amenities (coffe pot, pots and pans, silverware) that were advertised to be in the room. A coffee pot was finally brought to the room. The fridge made an ungodly noise, so they unplugged it and it was replaced the next day. Most of the time, my sisters were with me, only returning to the room to sleep. When they checked out, there a $150 deposit on the bill that they said I would get back in 3-5 days. After 4 business days, I had not seen a credit on my card and went and talked to the girl working the desk, who was very curt. I got a receipt and did not look at it closely until after I got home. There was a $3.61 debit from my refund for "phone- long distance" calls. Having cell phones, my sisters had no reason to use the hotel phone for long distance calls. I went back and talked to the same girl, Rebecca, who was downright rude this time (there are previous comments from guest about her rudeness). She said there were three calls made from that room. The ONLY three calls made on the room phone was to call the front desk to get moved from the moldy first room, have someone come look at the noisy fridge, and to get a coffee pot that should have been in there to start with. NOT A WAY TO DO BUSINESS! I will be having a conversation with corporate.

Upon entering my room after checkin I found the housekeeper sitting in the room watching tv. Then after he left I couldn’t get the tv to work. I had to run to the store and thought I would tell the front desk when I returned but it was closed at 5 pm. I called several times that evening and no one answered. When I checked out at 7 am the front desk was still closed. Also the room wasn’t as clean as it should be. There were fake eyelashes left on the night stand, hair hanging from the microwave and it looks like the vents haven’t been cleaned in months

There were no staff working. I tried to check in but there were no after hours workers (approx. 7pm). Several customers were calling the after hours number, leaving messages with no response. After 30 minutes of no service we left and found a different hotel. I fully expect to be refunded. We would love to have stayed there but they made it impossible to get the room we reserved.

the property was right off the highway, but there is no night staff to check in, thankfully i checked in early. The entrance at night was filled w drunks, druggies and undesirables. thankfully the entrance was locked and you needed a card to get in. The hotel itself was fairly clean but we didn't feel comfortable at all and checked out the next morning and we did get our money back for the rest of the days. maybe for a single man driving for business and needs a quick place to stay it might be OK but not for us.

The interior of the hotel was clean and no bad smells. The furnishings were cheap but comfortable. The exterior was disgusting . There was trash and broken glass everywhere. I stayed here because it was dog friendly but had to go offsite to walk my dogs. There was also a strange path cut into the woods behind the property. While is was coming into the building a large man came up from the path. I went back to my car until he left.

It’s great if you are staying for a short time for work or just passing thru. It’s like a small college dorm room. Rates are affordable, it’s relatively clean, no smells, no bugs, it’s pretty quiet unless you are on the highway side of the building and can hear the traffic. We had stayed at this property previously. At that time it was in need of some TLC. This stay, however, the property and staff were definitely much better. I do recommend that you keep your doors locked. We have travelled for work for MANY years, 30 years to be exact, and I have to say that this was the first time that a member of the staff opened our door while my husband was sleeping. Kelly, the general manager, opened the door to my husbands room after 9:00 P.M, and told him that he needed to pay for his stay. Now it has been my experience and observation that ALL rooms are checked for occupancy soon after the 11:00 A.M Checkout as the rooms need cleaned before the next occupant arrives. We pay for our stay week to week and upon getting our room keys reset, Kelly was in the front office and knew that our room was already paid for, if not, then she should’ve verified that before making late night room checks. I’m still unsure as to why she would be making those room checks so late.

Overall, my stay here was disappointing, but I want to give credit where it’s due. The staff was genuinely excellent… very responsive, understanding, and quick to help. When I had issues with loud neighbors waking me up between 3–5 AM, they handled my concerns professionally and moved me to another room without any hassle. Customer service here is easily 10/10. Unfortunately, the stay itself didn’t improve enough after that. While the new room was quieter, I began noticing baby roaches appearing occasionally, which was a major dealbreaker for me. Cleanliness is a big factor when traveling, and that made it hard to feel comfortable in the space. Another important issue for me was how difficult it was to focus and study. Between the lack of consistent quiet early on and the overall discomfort of the room, it made it nearly impossible to get into a productive routine. I found myself leaving just to find a place where I could concentrate. Because of these issues, I avoided the room as much as possible and eventually ended up switching hotels during my stay. If you’re planning to attend Baker School of Aeronautics, I’d strongly suggest considering other options unless you’re on a very tight budget. Again, the staff was amazing and did everything they could to help, but the noise, cleanliness issues, and overall environment made this a place I wouldn’t choose to stay at again.
