The breakfast is merely waffles, cereal, toast……but another guest asked for OJ this AM and lo and behold, OJ appeared. We stay her often as a layover point and go to Carrolls Country Store. It’s cheap and clean and allows pets!

Easy check in, dog friendly, first floor option. We stayed one night for a break in driving. Everything was fine, beds comfortable and clean, room clean, good amenities.

I’ll admit the hotel is rather but kept up. I got a non smoking king. A lot of clean up was done in the room, tv was new flat screen, but towel, clothes and older holders were old and pitting. No stopper in sink. A/c was an under window model, worked well, but realllllly smelled of age. ( Some air freshener & a vehicle tree did the trick. The room was not moldy, Carpet was new and clean. I did my UV LIGHT CHECK and didn’t find any dirty linens, chairs, or carpet. Breakfast left a whole lot to be desired. Just make your own waffles with butter and cereal, or cereal. Coffee was there but no juice, ice cold water or anything else. Overall I give them a 7 out of 10 because it was safe, clean, easy to get in and out of, great guest service,. Definately needs some upgrades, and better breakfast choices. But for the price it works well.. They allow pets but is $10 per nigh, per pet. Could be quite expensive.. Dr. Jammer

I stayed here for one night to break up our long trip home from NC. We are somewhat limited because we travel with our two rescue dogs. I prefer to stay in hotels that have rooms that open up to outside the building so we don't have to walk our dogs past other dogs or people if we don't have to. Although it is an older property, the room was very clean! The staff was very nice and most of the people staying there seemed to be people on business trips/truckers so it was very quiet all night. We were a little late for breakfast because we got in late that night, but I was still able to make us waffles and a cup of coffee and they were delicious. We will definitely stay here again when passing through.

Everything was what I had expected for the price. Our stop was for a one night layover as we traveled. And we travel with a dog which is able to stay here with us. The receptionist was in the midst of a personal conversation with a housekeeper when I entered, continued with this unusual interaction as I stood waiting to be checked in. When she finally tended to her duties to check me in, she continued to tell ME. All of her relationship issues……it was bizarre to say the least. There was no one else in the office????

Burn holes in bedspread and sheet. Went to take a shower and the handle of the shower fell off. You could tell it was just put on not affixed to the shower valve. Office staff was great. Wouldn’t usually have stayed here but we needed somewhere to close our eyes after 17 hours of driving.

Property suited our needs and reception did change my room when i had accidentally booked a smoking room. However bed covers were marked and had cigerette burns on them, the AC unit was old, noisy, dirty and dusty.

The room smelled terrible and was in poor condition, hot and looked dirty. We went to the office and asked for a different room and the second room smelled worse than the first. We asked for a refund and left. Huge inconvenience after driving 7hrs and having to start looking for another hotel at 11:00 pm at night.

I woke up at about 2am to see numerous cockroaches in the room, disgusting, I put my belongings back in the truck so I wouldn’t bring cockroaches home to my wife and kids. I didn’t attempt to sleep again, got a shower and left.

Wouldn't give me a refund. Left because the place was infested with flies and other bugs. I told them within a reasonable time. I am leaving terrible business to not refund a stay I didn't have.

The room was fine, except we reserved a King bed and when we checked in, we were told they didn't have any King Beds. After some discussion, we agreed to a double bed room. We had to call the front desk because no one gave us the password for the wifi when we checked in. While the room was alright, the overall facility and the neighborhood needs some TLC

Checkin was slow - not sure what took so long.We had reservations & room was prepaid. Reserved a king but got two double beds. Room was clean. Bed & pillows were comfortable. I didnt see breakfast but we left early.

DO NOT stay here. It is cheap for a reason. We just wanted some where off the highway, quick to get a couple of hours if sleep, and that DiD NOT HAPPEN. The toielt seat lid was cracked, with chunk out if it, the carpet was grose. The beds looked clean, so I told my self, it was just a place to sleep for a couple of hours. Laid down and the noise started around 9:30pm, just as we were trying to fall asleep. Dogs barking, kids screaming, mom screaming at the kids. Then they were moving furniture in the room off from there truck. Going in amd out of truck slamming doors. We kept thinking it would stop and it wouldnt. We packed up our napsacks and went to office to complain and check out and get our money back. The owner said yes he would give me my money back, but i had to call expedia and get them to call the owner to issue the refund. After muple times with messaging expedia and me calling owner, they would not give me my money back. Lesson learnt, i will never staying in a hotel owned by this chain again.

The property is in decent condition. My room appeared to be clean. Although with any aging motel, there are signs of distress, but Management seems to attempt to keep up with it not a great location in my opinion. All of the chain fast food restaurants are in the area which makes it nice. The staff at the desk were friendly and check in was prompt.

I’ll admit the hotel is rather but kept up. I got a non smoking king. A lot of clean up was done in the room, tv was new flat screen, but towel, clothes and older holders were old and pitting. No stopper in sink. A/c was an under window model, worked well, but realllllly smelled of age. ( Some air freshener & a vehicle tree did the trick. The room was not moldy, Carpet was new and clean. I did my UV LIGHT CHECK and didn’t find any dirty linens, chairs, or carpet. Breakfast left a whole lot to be desired. Just make your own waffles with butter and cereal, or cereal. Coffee was there but no juice, ice cold water or anything else. Overall I give them a 7 out of 10 because it was safe, clean, easy to get in and out of, great guest service,. Definately needs some upgrades, and better breakfast choices. But for the price it works well.. They allow pets but is $10 per nigh, per pet. Could be quite expensive.. Dr. Jammer

The property is in decent condition. My room appeared to be clean. Although with any aging motel, there are signs of distress, but Management seems to attempt to keep up with it not a great location in my opinion. All of the chain fast food restaurants are in the area which makes it nice. The staff at the desk were friendly and check in was prompt.

I stayed here for one night to break up our long trip home from NC. We are somewhat limited because we travel with our two rescue dogs. I prefer to stay in hotels that have rooms that open up to outside the building so we don't have to walk our dogs past other dogs or people if we don't have to. Although it is an older property, the room was very clean! The staff was very nice and most of the people staying there seemed to be people on business trips/truckers so it was very quiet all night. We were a little late for breakfast because we got in late that night, but I was still able to make us waffles and a cup of coffee and they were delicious. We will definitely stay here again when passing through.

Continental Breakfast. Coffee available and 2 types cereal. Was offered waffles. Requested bagels or similar. Was brought cinn/raisin bagels and butter / cream cheese per request. It was 630 am - maybe too early.

The breakfast is merely waffles, cereal, toast……but another guest asked for OJ this AM and lo and behold, OJ appeared. We stay her often as a layover point and go to Carrolls Country Store. It’s cheap and clean and allows pets!

Checkin was slow - not sure what took so long.We had reservations & room was prepaid. Reserved a king but got two double beds. Room was clean. Bed & pillows were comfortable. I didnt see breakfast but we left early.

King bed only had 2 pillows. Breakfast was a bag of bagels, cereal coffee empty. Wi-Fi did not work. Will never stay here again!

Room was nice, but advertised a deluxe breakfast. Deluxe breakfast consisted of coffee, raisin brain, Frosted flakes and waffle mix. Don’t expect much!!!

It was filthy dirty. I will never stay there again ever in my life. I will not recommend this place. Nasty disgusting the toilet was dirty. The bathtub was dirty. There was old soap from the previous person that stayed there. It was just all around disgusting.

Admittedly, everyone knows you get what you pay for, but I could not recommend this hotel to anybody! While there was a relative amount of cleanliness, the place was outdated and substandard! Our room had a nasty smell to it too!! The worst and most disappointing feature was the breakfast. Everyone knows what a standard included.Breakfast is like but they didn't offer anything other than pancake batter to make waffles.In a couple small boxes of cereal. Lastly, when you check in at the front desk, there's an enormous picture of a pagan idol!! A very creepy blue figurine that stares at you and leaves you feeling creepy! It does not seem like the right place for an owner to hang their favorite "god" or "goddess"!

Forget about having breakfast. 2 packages of oatmeal with no water or milk. 1 package of bagels with no butter or anything to put on them. 2 kinds of cereal but no milk. The waffles were terrible- 3 of the 4 patrons thru them out while we were there. The coffee was horrible. No tea, water or juice. The room was very dated but reasonably clean. Toiletries were minimal - 2 bars of soap and a 1/3 full trial size shampoo. It had been used or left there by a prior guest. Very noisy.
