Check in staff was great. Bed had blood on the side sheet. Pool was empty and great for that reason

Continuous Key Card problems.

First off the front desk was amazing when I checked she met me at the counter when I walked through the door !! Secondly the place seemed a bit older on the inside but not bad the room was great I loved the shower an how low the beds were to the ground for my kids but comfortable. Lastly my only concerns or issues : Major issue : no lighting by the side entrance you also didn’t need a key for the door was always ajar ( not really safe) other that breakfast could of had more options … Other than those we loved our stay and would definitely stay again

Very much in need of updates. Lumpy pillows, lumpy mattresses, TV didn’t work, refrigerator and AC rattled all the time. Security exterior door wasn’t locking properly. The breakfast was not good either. Never again!

Location is great, super friendly staff, breakfast and a heated (warm) pool which was great! Swimming at 70 degrees was pretty interesting!

Smelly, dirty and lacked basic supplies. No shampoo or soap in shower. Pool was filthy and ice cold(no way was heated as stated). Smell of mildew was over powering in the kig room my brother had. Adjoining room With no handles. Terrible place..one bright note receptionist who checked us in was friendly. Almost forgot don’t even try eat breakfast….toaster didn’t work water Luke warm Basel was rock hard very bad.

The hotel advertising that there is a fitness room but there wasn't. The food was below average. The TV in some rooms didn't work. The side door broke which allows access for anyone to come in making it unsafe for a single traveler like myself.

The pool was very cloudy and looked like it had mold in the corners. Shower in room had ductape at bottom. There was no breakfast left at 8:30 am when we went down for breakfast. Not everyone gets up a 6am. Breakfast is part if the package offered.

Comfortable room and bed, shower was small, but water pressure was excellent. No elevator, and pool is outside. Overall, this is the perfect budget friendly hotel near many food options and grocery/department store next door.

The hallway and our room reeked of a mixture of sewage, mildew, and mold. Our fault for not raising the issue with the staff; we were just too tired and thought the air conditioning would help alleviate the issue. It didn’t. Probably will not stay at this hotel again.

Pool area was beautiful, love the outdoor area. These rest of the hotel is gross, smells musty/moldy everywhere. Room was not cleaned properly at all, stained rugs. Just not clean.. Breakfast was garbage & hotel staff was not very pleasant.

The room was very clean and it was quiet. It was everything I needed.

About what you’d expect for an aging property at this price. Property is ok, not the cleanest. Room was older and smelled like a mixture of paint, mildew and smoke. Windows were dirty. Otherwise the shower, bathroom, sinks, refrigerator and bed was clean. A/C blows cold. Friday night was quiet but Saturday night was noisy. If you need an affordable place to stay it works but the entire place could use an update.

There was blood on the sheets on both beds. Gross and unacceptable!

Room smelled like mold

Customer service was wonderful. They accommodated me with two service animals and we’re very friendly regarding my personal situation. I asked to be close to an exit door so that entering and exiting would not disrupt other people that were staying at the hotel. They respectfully accompanied that. So, the customer service was wonderful. Yet, the hallway smelled like death and my room had a horrible mildew smell. It was so bad that I had to cut my trip short. The problem isn’t with the staff, it’s with the owners.

The staff was awesome and everything was fine till I tried to use the shower and bathroom. There was a lot of black mold on the wall and pink mold as well. Which is very concerning when you’re showering heating up and inhaling the mold. Wish it was a better experience.

T.V. was not the greatest. Rooms starting to look dated.

Location met needs

Stayed one night. Once "other" guests settled down around midnight, room was quiet. However, the bed in room 116 needs to be replaced. You can feel every spring in the mattress. I could NOT get a good nights rest. Up every 2 hours because of mattress.

Amazing staff!! The room was small but fit the bill for somewhere to sleep for the night after a party at our friends. Would def. stay here again.

This was a great location for what I was in town for. Everything was nice and had a good continental breakfast. The only downside was the bathroom was very tiny with only a small standup shower and it was old with some brown and black stains.

Our check in at 8pm on 10/16 was fast, the front desk person was very nice and professional, attentive. I called because I left my charger and they found it and had it ready for me to pick up-Stacy helped with that and was very friendly, professional and attentive. The shower could have looked nicer because it was old but it was clean, the rooms are a bit small but they are as advertised. If you want something at this price point and want a great no-hassle experience, I highly recommend!

It was nice and pretty affordable just the only thing that bothered me is that it was so hot in those rooms. The AC did not work well at all and when it did work it was leaking and dripping water all over

Employees were nice, bed not that comfortable. 1990 called, they want their TV back!

Room was clean but door could not be locked properly, but had bolt from inside. Internet /wifi not working.

The bathroom was just a shower and toilet with a pocket door. Would have preferred a tub and full bathroom where I could get my grooming done with more privacy. Shower pressure was excellent, though. It’s affordable and walking distance to food and grocery

The room was relatively clean and was comfortable. The front desk staff was amazing!

Totally terrible experience because I had made a reservation six days before arriving and this Sleep Inn did not find my name on their list. Sleep Inn did not offer to call Expedia for us. All hotels in Lansing area were full that night, due to power outages. At 9:00 at night we had to scramble to find another hotel and only one was 45 miles away in Mt. Pleasant, then we had to return to Lansing next day.

- Entire hotel smelled of marijuana. Front desk notified, pretty sure the hotel workers were partaking. - 7 separate issues with my room key not working. Every time I left my room, my room key would stop working and had to go to the front desk to reprogram my key. Quite annoying to go through this with luggage and 2 kids under 3 years old. - Had to request a roll-away bed for my room 3 separate times over a 6 hour period. Finally was provided a roll-away at 9:00pm on day of check-in. - Hotel workers were very unprofessional from the start. Right after checking in, I ran to the store next door while my family stayed back in our room. While I was gone to the store, my wife had a hotel worker enter our room without knocking while they were trying to figure out our room key issue! The worker opened the door without knocking and stepped inside our room and peaked around the corner to see my wife laying in bed with my 2 young boys to give her another room key. This is a HUGE safety issue and quite honestly one of the most unprofessional acts committed by a service industry employee I have ever heard of. - We were staying in the Dewitt area due to a sudden death in our family and booked this hotel to give us a space where we could relax and unwind after a couple hard and emotional days. The service from this hotel not only failed to live up to our basic expectations, but it added a considerable amount of stress and anxiety for my family. WE WILL NOT BE BACK.

Everything went very well. Location good for us. Liked that there were places to eat within walking distance. Staff was very friendly.

When I arrived to check in I was told that I had no reservation and that there were no rooms available. I had to search for another hotel. Terrible!

Nothing fancy. Quiet. Close to food, gas stations and large grocery store. Rooms are spacious.

I was pleased with my stay, the room was comfortable and the location was convenient. The only drawback was no elevator.

Nice hotel with easy access to food and main highways

This is the fifth time I have stayed at this location. It is conveniently located near Sleepy Hollow State Park and East Lansing. I like the rural setting while being close to East Lansing. The staff is always friendly and helpful with any special requests.

Very safe area with good options for food and gas. The staff was very pleasant. They even called after we left to tell me I left a novel in the room. My intention was to share it and they will add it to their lobby library. The TV in our room needed to be upgraded—fuzzy picture. The shower had some black stains—maybe mold?

Excellent price and right near Starbucks and Meijers. 10 minutes into Lansing

Everything was fine. The location is nice, far enough from the road to reduce noise.

My room was clean and spacious, check in was easy, and the location was convenient for flying out of the Lansing airport.

Hotel served our purpose. It was clean and quiet The only issue was breakfast. It was less than desirable and coffee was terrible.

The hotel was quiet and clean a great location and great price. Breakfast was really good with scrambled eggs and sausage links plus all the usual bagels, waffles, cereal juice AND great coffee. The only surprising negative thing is their policy for no room cleaning unless you stay 3 nights. So I expected clean towels, beds made after one night. We stayed two nights and that did not include room cleaning. Unless you ask for it.

Good for the price. Relatively clean. Breakfast was lacking- everything had run out by 8am on a Saturday and was not being restocked.

The breakfast is as bad as we have experienced anywhere. Terrible coffee, white bread/bagels and no fruit.

The check-in person (Hannah) was the nicest ever. Room was very clean. But there was almost nothing at all for breakfast. The waffle machine worked and had batter, but nothing else was “available.”

In general we had a good stay. The rooms were compact but reasonably clean. The room smelled a bit stale. But we opened a window and it soon aired out. Breakfast was very basic but served the purpose. A nice place to stop for a few z's.
