Need to fix pothole in the front of the hotel - it hasn’t changed since I was there 3 months ago. Cable channels are very limited. Recommend another safety bar in the bathroom in the wall at the (non-faucet) end of the shower.

First of all, the river view isn't that great so don't pay the extra money. Other than that it's a nice place. It was clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was fine. The elevator was broken, which wasn't a big deal for us, and she made sure it was okay for us to walk up stairs. There are restaurants nearby, and a convenience store next door with a McDonald's. Overall it was worth the stay.

Lynn at the front desk was wonderful. She was very personable and friendly. The room was comfortable but seemed to need a deep cleaning. Dusty corners in room and stains in hallway carpet. Overall our stay was very good. Our pups were welcomed with open harms!

We checked in late to our room. The beds had hair on the sheets, like on the pillow, under the blankets, the sheets were extremely wrinkles and pulled and smelled of body odor. The mirror had tooth paste splatter so it obviously wasn't cleaned and the beds were obviously remade with the dirty sheets. They put us inanother room but it was super inconvenient and still had insufficiently cleaned room. After traveling all day for a family emergency, dealing with this at 11pm with a toddler, was unacceptable.

Check in started with a loud fire alarm when we walked into the hotel. It was taken care of pretty quick so that was not an issue. However starting around midnight and all throughout the night a loud high pitch squealing was heard with no known source. This happened about every half hour keeping us awake all night. It is 7:30 in the morning as I write this and the awful noise is still squeeling away. We will be checking out early.

The room's air condition system was not working correctly, and ultimately we had to change rooms to one whose system was working. The staff was very accommodating in this situation. I know this is small, but my dad forget his toiletries bag and the staff gave him a free tooth brush, tooth paste, etc. In a world of nickel and diming, this was nice. Staff were polite and tentative.

We have stayed at this hotel 2 or 3 times a year for about 8 years now but we won't be going back. First the price goes up alot every year. We paid $191. Way to much for this place. Then housekeeping came knocking on our door at 8am waking us up. We didn't have a do not disturb sign. Then breakfast is served until 10am which we thought was great since we are not morning people. We got there at 9:50 got your basic breakfast item eggs, sausage, waffles nothing fancy. The entire room was full of people only one empty table at 10:10am the breakfast lady tells everyone that they have to leave because she needs to clean the room. We were still eating. Another gentleman said he was going to finish his breakfast and she got an attitude towards him. So we will now give our business to someplace else.

Close to I-80 made it nice for a one night stay. There is not a lot near the hotel although a short drive gave us an opportunity at a quiet walk along the Mississippi to unwind.

The entire room was full of people only one empty table at 10:10am the breakfast lady tells everyone that they have to leave because she needs to clean the room. We were still eating. Another gentleman said he was going to finish his breakfast and she got an attitude towards him. So we will now give our business to someplace else.

We have stayed at this hotel 2 or 3 times a year for about 8 years now but we won't be going back. First the price goes up alot every year. We paid $191. Way to much for this place. Then housekeeping came knocking on our door at 8am waking us up. We didn't have a do not disturb sign. Then breakfast is served until 10am which we thought was great since we are not morning people. We got there at 9:50 got your basic breakfast item eggs, sausage, waffles nothing fancy. Hotel needs fresh paint due to stains on walls chairs in breakfast room were also stained. Breakfast room too small since hard to get to food due to narrow space. Need more tables. Shampoo and conditioner in squeeze bottles attached to shower wall too hard to squeeze so couldn’t use. Water comes out slow in sink and spray.

There was also a water hammer happening in the plumbing throughout the hotel, so we were awakened early multiple times by the noise of the water hammer in the neighboring room. I feel like the star ratings on hotels.com are usually pretty accurate, but the 8.8 on hotels.com for this hotel is way off base. If you are on a long road trip and need cheap a place to rest for a night, then maybe this place would be OK, but otherwise give it a pass.

We sleep comfortable, room was cool, breakfast was the usual, terrible sausage and powder eggs and waffles. Overall is a good place to stay…..I think they could maintain rooms better, in our room wallpaper was coming down most likely a leak from 2nd floor.

Staff was super friendly and check-in was quick and easy. Room was ok. It was large and we were given an upgrade with jacuzzi tub in the room. Bed was ok. Ceiling needed repairs, wall paper needed fixed or replaced, furniture was very dated. Did have a refrigerator, microwave and safe in the room. Part on jacuzzi tub came off and showed extensive mold! Full breakfast was included and well done. Price of room was too high for condition of room.
